Red Line Beer & Wine

Nice beer spot that you can walk to from campus- very nice to sit down and do work. They have a nice collection and variety Only issues that I've had are with spotty WiFi and a little pricey beer.

This place is great! It has so many games to play and a great selection of beer and wine.They even have some non alcoholic options, which is super nice if you don't feel like drinking but wanna go out with buddies. The negatives- they don't know what they're charging their customers. 3 of us ordered the same wine and all got charged different prices. We were also told music bingo would start Wednesday @ 9, but it didn't happen.

I ordered a bottle champagne to be delivered to a friend as a graduation gift. I ordered five days in advance, and selected the "deliver later" option for the following weekend so that it would arrive during a party. Red Line ignored that and delivered the order immediately. I tried following up multiple times via email to get an explanation and no one ever responded.

The bartender was incredible here. He has a beard and dark hair and had his hair up in a bun. He took amazing care of us. We sampled a beer and when we were unsure, he went ahead and gave he a few more to sample. He even walked around and let us try a sample of the snacks. This place is a whole vibe guys. I 1000% recommend it and will come back again soon. Thanks for a nice experience :)

Red Line Beer & Wine has a good selection of beers on tap; however, they are a bit overpriced. If you choose a beer from the cooler it will cost you a $2 corkage fee which is the highest that I have seen around. This place does not deliver liquor, only beer and wine [yes, people call and ask]. It only makes sense to order if you live closer as the delivery fee can get pricey quickly. The service was friendly and they had TV's so we could watch soccer so that was a plus. This is a good spot to grab a drink [or drinks] before or after dinner on Hillsborough Street.

In the world of bottle shops, Red Line is doing things a bit differently. Offering a mix of beer AND wine along with 15 or so beers on tap, they've got most of the adult bevvy spectrum covered. Walk in and you'll find a handful of tables up front, beer shelves and cooler to the right, wine display on the left. In back you'll find the tasting bar and taps for a brewski. And they even do deliver in the area with a 30 minute promise! I grab an IPA at the bar and I'm given a little cup of snackies to munch on at the bar. Red Line has some folks lingering in the space ranging from NC State kids to more senior peeps, a bit of hip-hop is popping through the speakers to keep us company. I like the overall concept and service was fast and friendly. My only hesitation is the prices. Pints at Red Line were in the $7 - $8.50 range which is pretty steep in my book. So 3.5 stars but I'm rounding up and hoping they realize they are in a college neighborhood!

Went here while waiting for a restaurant to open up. And wow was this a great find! If you have been to sams shop in Durham, it's similar but there are a lot more on tap!I went there with my friend and we just chatted with the bar keeps sharing fun stories of different beers we like and where we were from. It was a great time! On top of that, there was an amazing price on the beer that I got! $3 for my pint! I enjoyed it.You are also welcome to buy bottled beer and wine and consume it there. They also give you free pub mix if you're drinking in their place. Finally, there is a screen to watch NC basketball competing

This review is only for their delivery service. 1) Their website is not great. It's very slow and originally it quoted me a 67mi drive to deliver to my location (which is actually 11mi away). 2) I ordered 4 items, 3 of which were substituted without my permission. There's an option on the order form where I specifically noted to NOT allow substitutes. Some of the substitutions are half the price I paid. (Founders KBS vs Breakfast Stout)3) I called the store for a refund, but have yet to receive it. Will file a credit card complaint if I have to. 4) Comments on their social media feed were simply deleted, instead of reaching out. Poor customer service all around.

If i could give 0 stars I would. I ordered something 2 days ago to be delivered same day.Still have yet to receive it.. Everytime i call, the guy always says its 5 minutes away. This is the 4th time this has happened

This people is BS I ordered a $30 bottle and they sent me a $5 bottle, I thought it was a DoorDash problem so I asked for the refund, I ordered Again, but told the DoorDash guy to check the bottle before bringing it, and they try again to send us the same bottle! The guys said he didn't have anything else and he could give has two bottle WTF?Terrible experience, DoorDash loose the money, since they had tu refund, and the stupid store gets extra money!!!!
