"It's a market as well as a grill type restaurant. So you can go there to eat and they have a small sitting area that you can eat your food at when you order, or you can go to shop. It's majority grocery store though so don't make it seem like it's a restaurant when you envision this place. But at the same time, you have plenty of seats indoors and outdoors to sit. They have all types of other things to look at and buy like hookah accessories and tea sets. So it's worth shopping just to browse If nothing else as you wait for your food. I tried the chicken shawarma in the beef shawarma sandwiches. I thought that the sandwiches were good. The chicken really did me right, the beef was okay, it got a little bit chewy but it still had a pretty good flavor to it. I probably will stick with the chicken if I were going to go back though!Be careful of the lunch rush because you will be waiting in line if you don't! A lot of the lunch brush would consist of lunch goers as well as a lot of door dash people so just be aware that you may have to wait a bit because of that. There's outdoor seating when the weather permits. There isn't much of a view when you get outside to sit because it's just facing the street but if You wanted to go ahead and try to be outside and catch a breeze This was a good place and they gave it the opportunity to do that. They have a olive bar so if you want to try some different olives there you can, and there are a lot of them to pick from so it wouldn't hurt to try.Even at the part where they have the restaurant they still have meats that you could try. You can actually buy it from there because it is a store as well as a restaurant. The parking lot is a little bit of a type squeeze so just be aware, but at least it's free!"
"Fresko is a excellent choice for healthier Mediterranean meals. I was famished and in the mood for Greek so I decided on the Build Your Own Bowl. I chose falafel and chicken as my protein, the spinach rice, added cucumbers, roasted red pepper, pickled onion, Kalamata olives, banana peppers and spicy feta, olive oil & cilantro as my sauce. This was the most flavorful, rich bowl I've had. I ordered the lemon soup but it wasn't authentic. Everything was perfection and plated well. My daughter enjoyed spanakopita (spinach pie) and loved it. It was her first time trying it. I will absolutely return again for a meal. Delicious !"

I also threw a couple sweet potatoes in the bowl and it offered a balanced of sweet & savory.Cava is always consistent, I can't be upset with the service as we are always waiting for fresh harissa chicken. Who can be mad at that?! Overall, I always enjoy cava and would recommend."
"Let me tell you something....Checkers Pizza and Subs in Raleigh, NC has some seriously delicious food! How good? So good that the food had my car smelling so good that I couldn't wait to eat, hence the reason for the pictures with portions of food missing. LOL My "All The Way" Small Pizza and Honey BBQ appetizer wings were exactly what I had been craving. The food hit that spot, and I had to call the restaurant back to thank them for my meal. Yes Lawd! The customer service in the restaurant was also excellent. This was my first time visiting Raleigh in many years, and my first experience at this establishment. I selected this particular restaurant after looking at different places on Yelp and liking their choice of menu items and pricing, compared to other restaurants. I was pleased to see how the staff at Checkers treated every customer. The quaint shop is clean and neat, and has space for dine-in or carry out. Checkers Pizza and Subs has an extensive menu that includes pizza, subs, Mediterranean food, and some vegetarian options. To top it off, they are open until 4:00am! How can you top a restaurant with great service, reasonable prices, delicious food, and menu variety, that is open until 4am? You can't! I highly recommend Checkers Pizza and Subs. Tell them Kindra Speech sent you."
"Good healthy options, lots of seating. Chicken was a little dry unfortunately but I went after lunch so it may have been sitting around a bit. Dips and falafel were good."
"Very tasty hummus! The Mediterranean salad was good, dressing was a bit odd but tastey. My fiancé loved the skewers and will definitely be returning."
"Wow this place is amazing. I ordered from Uber eats. I got a little too much food for one but I really wanted to try many items! I got the three meats, I picked the steak, chicken kabobs and gyro meat, all was seasoned perfectly, all the meats were delicious.I got the Greek salad and fries and my sides, perfect salad and fries were crunchy! I also got the hummus, tzatziki which came with pita and also the Greek pasta salad. Yes a lot of food I know. Everything was so delicious, loved that pasta salad!!'"
"Haven't been here in years, but since they sent me a generous birthday coupon for a gyro I decided to accept their invitation! The cashier, Anna, was so welcoming and wished me a Happy Birthday when seeing my coupon. She was really wonderful. I ordered the lamb gyro and made it a combo meal by adding stuffed grape leaves and a drink and happily paid the difference. I got a mixture of the unsweetened ice tea with the sweetened that also has pineapple in it. So refreshing! When I went to get my order I was given a free piece of baklava, another birthday gift!! You guys, sign up for their newsletter! The gyro was absolutely delicious as were the stuffed grape leaves. I asked for a little more cucumber sauce on the side for my gyro which really brought it over the top. The pistachio baklava was excellent too!All in all a great experience and a big thank you for such a generous birthday gift!"
"Recommended place if you are hungry and craving Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered the veggie platter for takeout online. I was not sure by using the online ordering system if and how much falafel and pita it came with. Therefore as my sides I chose falafel, tabouli, and baklava and then paid extra for hummus and pita. As a result, I could not finish it all in one sitting - but it wasn't quite two servings. The falafel and tabouli were the stars of the show. The falafel had a great flavor and texture. The tabouli was also packed with flavor. The baklava was okay, too greasy and tough for my taste. The texture of the pita was ideal, however, it was cut up too small to hold anything. Pros:- Reasonable prices- Adequate portions - smaller than comparable restaurants, but enough to fill you up.- Fresh vegetables and herbs- Carryout and dine-in options available- Online ordering quick and easy- They offer whole wheat pitaCons:- Parking can be tricky if you go at a busy time"
"We stopped in for a quick lunch for first time. Did not want to eat off buffet which would have been too much food. We ordered Gyro's that came loaded with meat and vegies. The only negative I can say is the floors throughout restaurant are a little slippery which to means mop water is not changed enough. Seemed greasy."
"I had a great meal at this lovely Mediterranean restaurant in Durham, NC near Duke University. It was great seeing my high school friend and fellow Georgetown Prep Little Hoya. We had the salmon and branzino for a wonderful dinner. We started with some fresh olives with pits, and a nice octopus tissue (very tender and fresh). The service was great, we had some sorbet and chocolate cake for dessert. This is a very lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere although a little noisy. I recommend this place highly."
"Authentic food cooked fresh. We dined in and the order was ready quickly. The chicken was a bit dry but I'm hoping that's a one off and everything else was great! Rice was delicious, homeade cucumber tzatziki and hummus are served alongside the kabob with warm pita! I love greek food and this hit the spot. Seems to be a very popular "to-go" spot but inside was clean and staff were friendly. Support local!"

This restaurant has a private parking lot located on the side of the business. I came during lunch hours during the week but it wasn't too packed. The business is a restaurant and store when you can buy items like meat and nuts. I was able to place my order right away once I walked in. The cashier was nice: A short time later my number was called. There are a few tables in the business that you can sit at if you want to dine in. I got chicken shawarma, hummus, French fries, and yellow rice. The rice was really good and flavorful. The fries were served hot. The hummus wasn't bad. The pita bread was soft. Unfortunately the chicken was a little overcooked which made it a little dry. Chicken Shawarma Chicken over cooked. A little dry. Yellow rice great. Fries hot and ok. Hummus ok. Pita bread soft. Cashier nice. Good fast Disappointed that they didn't have fattoush salad today

I was hungry, and my build-your-own bowl was loaded with lemon rice, lentils, chicken, keftedes (meatballs) and too many vegetables of my choosing to mention. I chose a scoop of hummus and a scoop of red pepper hummus to complete my bowl. I didn't get the falafel this time, but I always like it. I finished the whole thing, plus the half pita that came with it! My friend ordered a wrap with fries on the side. He shared the fries, and they were very good. The building is bright and clean, and the service was friendly and efficient. The other Fresko is closer for us, but this one is just as good, and more convenient for those in North Raleigh.

First time at cava was a success! Sad it took me so long to try, apparently I've been missing out! These pita chips and garlic spread have me in a chokehold! The summer drinks are good as well

I mean this place is sketch AF and I gotta say, I respect that. I respect any restaurant that keeps doing business into the deep hours of the night.I only get one thing here and that's Chicken Shawarma. For me that's a four star, and I see a lot of one stars on Yelp. There are a lot of places that serve Chicken Shawrma but The Only Correct Way is cooking it via a vertical rotisserie -- it's real hard to find a place that does this in the area. I've lived here for 10 years and this is the first and so far only place within driving distance for me.PS, that vertical rotisserie gets put away at 8PM then they keep it on the menu as something else. That ain't great, so plan ahead.I eat here 5-6 times a month, sometimes the shawarma has like a thin fat skin on it, that again, isn't great (I have ARFID) so my eating sensibilities aren't the best. Maybe it's more correct with the fat on it.The food is usually fast, and it isn't too expensive. It has the college vibe to it.

I have walked by here so many times and didn't stop in until recently. What a surprise! The prices are reasonable, the salads and sides all look great. I wasn't too hungry, but had to have something light, so I had a falafel pita. The guy at the counter was incredibly helpful and offered to add a side into the pita if I wanted, so I added the chickpeas. Like all the other food options in Durham, my pita did not disappoint! It was a generous size for less than $6, with some nice touches like cilantro and pickled cabbage. I wish I had known about this place sooner, I would have stopped in more often. If I lived here, I would come here for lunch regularly. The ordering is a little confusing, at least if you're going to get it to go.

Great food, good prices. The wait to get our order seemed way too long and we were the only ones in the resturaunt. It was pretty quiet and my friend and I were able to talk without having to fight over other voices. However the food is delicious here so the wait didn't bother me too much and I was not in a hurry. The bathrooms really needed cleaning. There was no toilet paper.

I live closer to the other Charlie's Kabob location but it seems like recently, I've been in this area of Wake Forest a lot. I decided to come back for my second visit and realized I've never reviewed this location! I absolutely love the employees here. They are attentive, quick, and friendly. The food is consistently good but it's the service that deserves a round of applause here. I always get my go-to Tripoli Platter with beef, lamb, and gyro meat, pasta, spanikopita, and grape leaves. I also order a side of rice and baba with pita bread. I know what I like and no matter what you order here, it is always flavorful and fresh. I love Charlie's Kabob and I've been loving both locations for years now!

I've dined here previously over a year ago and was in the mood for Falafel. Their falafel is soft and the pita and white sauce are always on point. The pita is baby butt soft and texture matters on a Gyro. I have not enjoyed one since leaving NYC but found a place to fulfill my craving. The lamb gyro is very tender and flavorful. They have the best tzatziki sauce. Hands down. Try them for your Mediterranean fix. Falafel is always a good vegetarian favorite. The French fries are fresh fried potatoes that are perfect, the falafel appetizer is delicious with tasty pepper relish and hummus. The Falafel is crispy and well made. I haven't had anything that wasn't delicious here.
Visit Restaurant Page"For a fast food place, this was pretty decent! You order your main dish which comes with a ton of sides you can choose from. I got the pita pocket plate which came with half a pita with beef and lamb shawarma which was my meat of choice. It was dressed with some taziki sauce. The pita was warm and fluffy and the meat was moist and flavorful, especially with the sauce. For my 2 sides, I got the beet salad and which was mixed with a pomegranate balsamic vinaigrette and the tabouli which is chopped parsley, tomato, cucumber and onion tossed in olive oil and lemon juice. Each of the side dishes was extremely fresh and the acidity helped brought out the freshness of the veggies. Overall a great meal!"
"Mediterranean Grill & Grocery is true diamond in the rough and I will hype their food up all day, everyday! Although they are located in an old building near a baseball field, this place is a true landmind for delicious food in South Durham. Mediterranean Grill & Grocery is by far my absolute favorite place to go for a gyro sandwich in the triangle. It's flavorful, juicy, assembled beautifully, and they don't skimp on the meat. They also have the best baba ghanoush, curried chick peas, roasted veggies and tabouli. I also love their curried couscous soup. Everything I"ve tried has always tasted super fresh. Their pita bread is always soft too even though it's not made in house and comes out of a bag they sell in the store. Overall, I can surely attest and say that I've never had anything here that I didn't like, and their quality and quantities are consistent. If you're in a hurry and coming here during dinner time I highly recommend placing a to go order over the phone and checking in what side salads they have. Hummus, baba ghanoush, and the tzaziki yogurt sauce seem to be constant, but if you're craving curried chickpeas like I do, just know that it's not an everyday day thing and you may want to call ahead."
""It's really good!" That's what another patron said to me as I sat down with my first bowl of chicken, couscous and fresh vegetables. "How long have you been coming here?" I asked. Her reply: "This is our first time, but we'll be back!" I was convinced before I ever took a bite.I love order-at-the-counter Mediterranean places in the area, and this one gets bonus points for being locally owned. Everything is fresh, and the service is very friendly. It's obvious they have a lot of pride in this little restaurant. The inside is small and unassuming, with just a few tables, but there are several tables on the patio out front, and that's where I always sit. (That's right--I went back!)"
"Food was good. The service was quick and the guy was very nice. I ordered the lamb gyro. It was delicious. The ambiance is very nice and decor is cool."
"I ordered online through their website. The order was ready in twenty minutes. When I arrived I was greeted with two smiling faces. It felt like home. Did I want to try a new menu item, their burrito bowl launching next week? Did I see that they had posted Ethiopian dishes on the menu, too? The decorations matched the owners' kind, bright and sunny moods. I ordered the three bean salad and a Kitchen burger and they gave me a sample of the new menu item, the burrito bowl, to-go. My husband ate all my three bean salad and he also loved the burrito bowl. We are excited for the new owners who are helping to strengthen the plant-based community. I can't wait to make this a habit."
"I came on a Saturday evening with my wife, arriving at 5pm without a reservation and promptly getting seated. We started with the Warm Moroccan Hummus, which came with some of their housemade bread. The hummus had a lot of texture to it - not only were there whole chickpeas inside the hummus, it was also topped with sweet peppers, sumac onions, sultanas / raisins, and savory corn flakes, which all added an extra layer of crunch, sweetness, and acidity that went so well together. The bread was also delicious - it was probably my favorite thing about the meal. I loved the bread so much that I ordered another plate of just bread. It had a nice crunchy crust but was soft inside - definitely a must-try.I ordered the Spare Ribs, which had a peach-tamarind glaze and came with pickled cabbage. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of tamarind, the tamarind was not overpowering and actually went well with the sweetness of the glaze and tartness of the cabbage. There was smokiness in the seasoning that wasn't too spicy but added depth of flavor. The texture of the meat was perfectly bite-off-the-bone - a nice crust with a soft, juicy interior. My wife got the whole fried trout, and it was also enjoyable. The trout came out whole, but was fully deboned, so it was easy to eat. It came over a sweet potato puree, farro, tabbouleh, and parsnip and apples. The fish itself had such a crispy exterior, which I loved, and perfectly cooked interior - very moist, and not dry. The tamarind was a little heavier on this dish, but I thought the flavors overall were still good. The service was very friendly and prompt, and with it being a nice day, the outdoor seating overlooking Raleigh was perfect. Parking was no problem at all, and the space is clean and well-kept. Overall, we had a great experience!"
"First time here. Husband and I both ordered the 3 veggie platter-- lots of choices to pick from! I selected beet salad, fava beans and kale salad. Husband enjoyed falafel, fava beans and tatziki. Both platters came with pita. Kale salad was light, fava bean tomatoey and flavorful. Beet salad was my favorite. We also ordered sodas -- always appreciate a fountain drink machine that works well. Service was friendly and there was tons of eating space. We chose to eat outside because it was a beautiful day. Overall a nice place to grab lunch."
"A late lunch and a very empty stomach, we stumbled upon Mona pita. And got to meet Mona herself, who is absolutely so kind and wonderful. We were not sure what to order, so I asked her for her favorite recommendations. We got to try the lamb platter, and the chicken kebab platter. We also got a side of falafel, and of course for dessert... Baklava. The chicken was juicy and tender and flavorful. It came with a great side of yellow rice, and a Greek style salad. Pita and hummus also! A great value for a nice platter of food. The lamb was very delicious, same sides on that platter as well. The favorite was the Tahina yogurt dip that comes with the falafel. I would highly recommend getting extra cups of that and dipping everything in it! A great find if your belly is empty, and you want some delicious Mediterranean style food."
"Neomonde is a great option for Mediterranean food. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious and on the healthier side. I'd dine there more often if it were closer to me. I like that you can dine in with inside or outside seating or order to go. You just make your way through the line and order as you go. If the food needs to be cooked the order will take a little longer. The menu has a lot to select from so I'd recommend trying to decide ahead of time or it could just be me that has trouble making up my mind with so many options. I usually get a kabob platter and change up the sides. There is a small grocery store inside too that is well stocked."
"Generous cut of 6 arge lamb chops cooked over wood coals have a smoky flavor, rice, and a small salad, dessert is Turkish Trilese, Trilece is very similar to Mexican Tres Leche/Milk Cake, but with an added layer of golden Caramel on top of it. YUM! The cake, cream and caramel can be store brought. What people love about this cake is that is has a very light texture and melts in the mouthSpinach takes on a savory flavor. Turkish Borek with Spinach and Feta is delicious. It is similar to spanikopita.Sultan tea is delicious. To stick to tradition for your Turkish tea time, add two cubes of sugar or more. Turks don't add milk to their tea, but the sugar cubes assure a deliciously sweet blend. Then, sip slowly and savor the flavor of this lovely brew. Turks will also refill their guests' cups as part of their Turkish hospitality. Sultan tea is an exotic blend of herbs and spices, dried and crushed into powder. Ground sugar, mint, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon pepper, cardamom, cinnamon."
"Al-Basha is an incredibly clean and inviting Middle Eastern and Mediterranean grocery store. After hearing great things, I made a point to check out the Al-Basha Market & Grill and I wasn't disappointed. I grabbed a selection of items for both myself and my Mom and the beef wrap was outstanding. The lamb and chicken kabobs were also top-notch. The flavors were delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help me find specific items I was looking for (Ginger Beer and Organic Tart Cherry Juice). I'm looking forward to returning and finding more unique items during my next shopping trip."
"I am a pretty picky eater, but I do like Turkish Food (a similar cuisine), so when Lebanese friend mentioned coming to Sassool, I was game! The menu has a lot of nice meal options available. We ordered our food at the counter and someone brought our meals out to our table.I had a spinach pizzette, it was awesome! I sampled a bit of my friend's Baba Ghanouj, so tasty. The highlight for me was the fresh pita bread, absolutely mouth watering. The food was so flavorful! My friend loves this place too, so it's the real deal. I can't wait to come back and eat here again. The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to Trader Joe's, so come grab a meal before you do your grocery shopping."
"Stopped here to grab a bit of lunch with some friends. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We took a moment to look over the menu and decided the double kabob Rice plate the the meal for me!I got two chicken kabobs, tzatziki sauce, French fries, pita, and some rice. You get a decent amount of food for the price! My only negative was that the kabobs, while perfectly cooked in some spots, was overcooked and rubbery in other spots. The tzatziki was amazing! Thinly shredded cucumber in the sauce is my favorite was to prepare it and that's just what they did here.Don't forget the baklava you can order while dining here as well! I didn't grab any but I definitely regret that I didn't!If you're looking for some Greek food while in Pittsboro, this might be the stop for you!"
"There's a lot of good about Mama Voulas: the people who take your order and make your food, the variety of items, the amount of food for the money (at least for the gyros).I ordered the traditional gyro. It's mildly seasoned, the tzatziki sauce is a nice counterbalance, the lettuce and tomatoes are visible and not chopped to a pulp. The pita itself is very lightly grilled This is a two-handed gyro. I had the traditional gyro. It didn't look like that much, at first. But after I took several bites and realized that I had barely made a dent, I realized exactly how much food there was. If I had read the menu more closely, I would have ordered the half. The Greek salad was fine. I've had better, though. Mostly lettuce (of course) but with 2 thick cubes of tomato, cucumber and feta and just enough black olives to make it more substantial. The Parmesan cheese was served in a tiny funnel of dough so you can add as much as you need. The half portion of salad was still a good deal compared with other menu items. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to visit Mama Voula's, but I wouldn't turn away from it either."
"I attended a birthday celebration at La Terrazza, located on the 9th floor of the Dillion. The rooftop offered stunning views and a delightful ambiance, making it a top on my list of favorite spots. While the service was a bit slow, our server was professional and attentive, providing a comprehensive rundown of the specials. The food, including the pork belly appetizer and the Lasagna with Greek salad, was all delicious. Other appetizers, such as calamari, beef, and lamb skewers, were also thoroughly enjoyed by our group. Despite the wait, everything was worth it. Our server, Justin, did a fantastic job, going the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience, including taking care of the birthday cake. I highly recommend La Terrazza and look forward to returning. The seats inside could be better. Not the most comfortable. I understand it's a hot spot, so perhaps this is a way to influence customers to eat and go. We did enjoy outside seating ( with more back support) and views on the rooftop after dinner inside."
"Vidrio gets a 5-star review from me! This place is beautiful, the service is superb and the food is delicious. This restaurant is centrally located in Raleigh in a section of the city with a few restaurants, hotels and bars within walking distance. The menu has quite a few options, and you can get virtually any drink from the full bar. My wife and I went on a late Saturday afternoon for an early dinner, and ordered the Charred Octopus, Hanger Steak and Local Burrata. Everything was delicious, I mean EVERYTHING! The service was great, common areas and restrooms were clean, and the decoration is beautiful (refer to the photos for details). There are quite a few affordable parking spots right in front of the restaurant.Overall, 100% recommended and we are definitely coming back!"
"Good but not great, although the food is fresh and well prepared, it seems to be quite overpriced. They do make a very good falafel! It was cooked and flavored very well, the added side salad and pita bread made this a great entree for lunch. Unfortunately, the limited amount of falafel they serve was not worth the price. Cheers!"
"The lamb was perfectly cooked. Not completely overdone. Just right. I like that you can order a salad and add lamb as a protein rather than only being able to get lamb in a gyro. I also like that there is outdoor seating with approximately 10 tables or so and large umbrellas for shade. The Caesar salad was spot on with just the right amount of dressing and the flavor was wonderfully tangy and delicious."
"The food was freaking phenomenal. Super authentic place with very flavorful food with great textures (tender smokey meats and mouth watering dishes all around). We ordered the chicken platter and the mixed grill platter of steak and lamb. Both were incredible. Loved the soups, super flavorful. The chicken soup has little pasta stars and tastes kinda lemony and blew my mind. Green lentil soup was fantastic as well.Falafel delicious crispy and steamy. All the food tasted super fresh. So good. Hummus and baba ghanoush come with pita bread. Those were super good too. And the hot sauce that came out with the grilled platters was awesome and tasty too! Running out of adjectives haha it was good! Flavorful with a kick and went nicely with the Mandy rice (rice cooked with lamb broth). The only downside is the parking lot can get packed. We actually tried eating here last night and couldn't get a parking spot. The lot and the lot for the market next door were completely full. Also, the service moves at a glacial pace (don't come here if you're in a rush). I ordered hot tea at the start and didn't receive it until the end of the meal with our falafel and before we got the check. The food seems to come out in a somewhat random order? And kinda dirty as mentioned in other reviews (cigarette butts etc). All the reviews I read before coming here have been accurate: painfully slow service and kinda dirty (we sat on the outdoor patio). I called beforehand to check if they allow dogs because of the outdoor seating and the woman on the phone was kinda ambiguous and weird about it, asking if the dog was small and saying that they had other customers (we have a Saint Bernard) implying without saying it that customers would be uncomfortable with big dogs but I think she was probably projecting because nobody cared. In the end she admitted that they had a table available and said she would prepare it for us (the patio was empty besides one table). It's definitely kinda dirty but I also think that there's maybe not enough wait staff to handle the customer load. The review is basically just for the food. You get a ton of it, it's all incredible, and so worth the wait. Definitely will return again! Next time we'll try the desserts!"
"The food is delicious and the portions are well sized. There are not a lot of parking spaces available but it is worth coming"
"I enjoyed my meal at Kabobi today. I'm thankful that they are in the food court for those who are following a special diet or Halal. With so many fried and overly processed foods in abundance, you can rely on Kabobi for a affordable wholesome meal. The reason many people choose unhealthy food, is because of the cheaper price, however, you will pay in poor health. I enjoyed the customer service from the manager. He discussed the vegetarian options with me. I decided on the chick peas, spinach and lentil Biriyani rice. Biriyani is a long grain rice that is very delicious with the lentils added. My daughter really enjoyed this on my plate and ate all of it. You must try it. I also tried the Tabbouleh and enjoyed that with my meal. Everything was cooked just right and I was very satisfied. Thank you Kabobi. I will try the falafel and lamb kabob next time."
"Lunch after church, nice outing with the family. Even the 8 yr old grandson enjoyed it. He couldn't get enough of the housemade sour dough bread/baguette and dipping oil. Thoroughly enjoyed his angel hair and marinara. He said was the best sweet tea! (Mainly because it was served in a goblet! Lol)Flaming Saginaki was a novelty. I ate most of it, they thought was 'ok'.. doesn't deter me from sharing new foods with them.Daughter enjoyed spaghetti with meat sauce. They're not into lamb so didn't enjoy the gyro.I had the gyro plate, my favorite. Well seasoned potatoes. Server was great, kept drinks refilled and checked on us appropriately."
"Our experience at Papa's Subs & Pizza was just okay. We placed an order online for pickup and it was ready on time. We chose a garden salad, large pepperoni pizza and large greek classic pizza. I wasn't huge on the specialty pizzas only being available in a L, XL or XXL size and starting at $16.99 and up but it's a good option for a larger group. I also didn't like that a side salad wasn't available and that thousand island wasn't a dressing choice online (we had to pay extra for a side of it). In the end, the price paid for what we got was not worth it. I would recommend ordering one of their deals if you want to try this place. The menu is quite extensive so I'd return to try a few other items. On an unrelated note, the specials sign in front of the restaurant had weekdays only written very small under the hours. I wish that it was a tad larger to avoid confusion."
