"We swung by Lime & Lemon for our dinner and I was very impressed. The food is tooooo delicious. We tried the pani puri, idli Sambar, plain dosa, basil and mint naan, garlic naan, chapati and mango and lime paneer curry. I can't believe a mango and lime curry would impress me so much. Not surprised that it is the restaurant's signature dish. The basil and mint naan was a flavor combo that was out of this world. This naan with the mango and lime paneer curry tasted divine. The ambience is very simple. The server was very sweet and friendly and offered us free rice kheer and pistachio kulfi because he messed up our order. Overall, great food and a nice lowkey place when you want to grab some casual dinner."
"Atmosphere: We've only ordered takeout at Naan Stop, but the dining area seemed nice and clean. Service: Ordering to-go over the phone has been a breeze, and our food has been ready for pickup in ~20 minutes. Food: This time around, we ordered the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi. Both of the main dishes were good. While Butter Chicken might be a rather uninspiring dish to order, Naan Stop makes it a filling, guilty pleasure. Their Tikka Masala is consistently tasty, and both dishes deserve to be scooped up with their Garlic Naan. Overall: Naan Stop is a solid, accessible option for Indian food close to Duke's campus. However, their dishes are quite pricey especially given the portions. We'll likely order again as an occasional and convenient indulgence!"

Visit Restaurant Page"We did the $15.99 buffet in the weekday and it had quite the variety for vegetarians. The appetizer Bhaji was crisp and the paneer Methi Malai was actually very good. The spicy mini idlis with chutney and sambar pretty much blew it out of the park in the Idli category so that to me was a winner! The drawback was that naan were sitting in the buffet- tough and chewy so it would really benefit if they brought them to the table in smaller quantities. People would enjoy it 100% better while less get wasted sitting out in the buffet. I wish they had a dal on the buffet it was lacking and sambar doesn't quite replace a good tomato dal.The goat biryani was pretty great and 3 chicken varieties got all the meat eaters satisfied. Service was decent given the crowds and the ambiance could be improved if they switched the songs to instrumental Indian music keeping with a better atmosphere for conversations while enjoying the food!"
"We needed a quick dinner before heading to a show at Carolina Theatre so I chose Mango Indian Grill which is located inside of the Durham Food Hall. I ordered the chicken tikka masala with Indian style mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies which came with a piece of naan. I liked the sides but the main course was just okay. It would not be my first choice in the food hall."
"Everything was superb from food to drink. There was a lot of food for 3 of us. The waiter was nice and gave some good recommendations since this was our 1st time there. I forgot to take pictures of the dessert. It was so so so good. It's like milk/cheese balls served in kind of milky sauce. It was comforting to cool down all the spiciness. It was not crowded during lunch."
"Best Indian food I've ever had hands down! I don't say this lightly. There's a reason this place has so many positive reviews, it totally lives up to the hype! A friend and I came for dinner on Friday evening and made a reservation just in case. There were plenty of times available, but as we sat there we noticed it getting busier and busier so just to be safe I'd make a ressie. This is a popular shopping center in Chapel Hill. Parking - pretty easy, but since it can get crowded you might not get a spot right by LNL. Ambiance - the restaurant is absolutely beautiful! And super clean. The restrooms stood out to me, too, as particularly clean and private. There's a large dining room with a separate bar area. There are some "patio" tables but mainly just on the sidewalk. This would be the only area I'd suggest improvements, but physical limitations could be the issue. Service - amazing! Our waiter, Edwin, was wonderful. He gave great recommendations and was extremely attentive. Plus friendly and made our experience extra memorable. Food & drink - We each had an Old Fashioned and it was very tasty. At Edwin's recommendation, we both ordered the Mango Lime Chicken and a side of Garlic Naan. Divine! That slightly sweet, spicy, creamy, tangy sauce perfectly blankets the tender and juicy chicken. They marinate the chicken for 17 days we were told! The garlicky, buttery, pillowy naan complemented everything so well. Easily two meals. Prices - super affordable! Especially for the portion sizes. We polished off dinner with a (complimentary!) palate cleansing shot given by Edwin. It was really unique with almost a Christmassy flavor? Hard to explain so you just have to try for yourself! We will absolutely be back, and I hope to see you there!"
"Wow I am impressed! Not just food court-good, but legitimately good Indian food at food court prices. I just got the rice bowl with the curries on the hot table because we didn't want to wait (mcds for the kids next door). Butter chicken very lovely and creamy and flavorful, veggie curry spicy delicious, veggie biryani had the seeds and flavor you want, chicken Tikka masala hit the spot. Worth a visit!"
"Came here with my spouse as we live close and we really enjoyed it! We started with two appetizers, the Gobhi Manchurian and the Samosa puffs on the bed of chickpeas. Both were good but we both agreed the Samosa/chickpea dish was the best. The flavors were super unique and we just really enjoyed it. I got the chicken tiki masala and my spouse got the butter chicken. We also sampled the butter naan, garlic naan, and chili garlic naan. Both entrees were good. I usually like butter chicken better but in this case I preferred tiki. I will say the protein serving size was a little disappointing, esp compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. But the flavors were great. The chili naan was SUPER SUPER spicy, so much so that neither of us could eat it unfortunately l. The other two were good!We also had some drinks. I ordered the mango martini and unfortunately was very disappointed. It tasted like a thick, thick mango purée mixed with sugar was put in a cocktail glass and that was it. I expected it to be more of a martini with a light mango purée. My spouse got a dirty martini, which was okay, but not great. Overall, loved the flavors in the apps and entrees. The ambiance was also really nice and clean looking. I'd probably skip out on drinks and definitely no to the chili naan."
"Kadhai is a excellent Indian restaurant in my neighborhood. As someone who was raised by west indian grandparents, I enjoy my food spicy. I love that you can choose how spicy you want your dishes by intensity number. I went with a 4. That was the perfect amount of heat for me. The food here is flavorful and plated with perfection. I ordered lunch via Uber Eats. The food arrived fast and piping hot. The serving size was generous with plenty of leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. I ordered vegetables samosas, Chicken Madras and Aloo Gobi. The Chicken Madras was my favorite. It really packed the heat ! Lots of fresh spices and pepper throughout the stew. This was delicious. The naan was complimentary with my order. They left it in the oven too long unfortunately and it was not the best charred. The basmati rice was cooked to perfection and all the flavors were just excellent. I will return to dine in for the lunch buffet."
""Good Indian food on Erwin Rd in Durham by Duke's West Campus"This location is between Firehouse Subs and Mediterra-- this spot has been the home of quite a few different restaurants over the years (most recently, Itaewon Grill Korean bowls). The space is brightly lit, and one orders at the counter (or online). If the weather is warm, there are a few tables just outside, though shared with Mediterra and the other restaurants in the strip. My wife and I came here on a Saturday evening around 5:45pm. No other customers were in the store when we started, and only one other couple came and sat in the whole time we were there-- I'm guessing most of their business is takeout. I got the chicken tikka masala, and my wife ordered the vegetarian anjeer bhare malai kofta, both mild and both came with rice, and we both got mango lassis to drink. It took about 15 minutes until the food was ready. Everything was packaged to go, but when the person behind the counter saw we were eating in, he gave us some styrofoam plates. Both dishes were very tasty. I really liked the chicken tikka masala-- it came with some bell peppers and onions, which I'm not used to seeing in this dish, but which complemented the flavors nicely. I had a bite of my wife's kofta, too, and it was nicely flavorful with a tiny hint of sweetness. The rice was good too-- it was basmati, but not just simple white basmati-- had a bit of something else mixed in, too. The only challenge for my wife was that "mild" here was not sufficiently mild for her... I'd rate my chicken tikka masala as between mild and medium (which I was fine with), and her dish was a little too spicy hot for her tastebuds.Service was good even without formal table service-- as I mentioned, they noticed we were eating in and offered us plates, and they seemed concerned when they saw my wife wasn't eating and asked her if it was too spicy for her.Quantity was good-- I did finish my dish, but I was pretty full with that. Price was fair-- $16 for mine and $15 for hers. Maybe a tiny bit cheaper than nearby Naan Stop (which I also like). Overall, I liked it and would recommend it, especially for takeout. And the location right beside Duke makes it ideal for students/ staff/ faculty/ visitors there."
"We came here in the middle of the day and the service was so quick. Everything we ate was incredible and so authentic! Hey the goat korma and butter chicken!"
"Most outstanding experience on the opening day! We were blown away by the food, presentation, ambience and service! The food was beyond delicious and surprisingly very reasonably priced. Keshav, Gaurav and chef Sanjeev are truly great people! Can't wait to try their lunch special tiffin!"

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Chapel Hill and Durham! The mocktail menu is fantastic- I love the Indian Mule! i got the baby corn appetizer, which was sweet and crunchy and delicious. Then I love getting the mango lime curry for my main. The ambiance is really cute- it was date night so we were happy to snag a cute and quiet booth. The service is always wonderful- from when we walk in the door to leave at the end of the evening. So good!

Fantastic to go food. Had the tikka masala which was great mild and with a garlic naan it really hit the spot. Pakora were a little cold but had a flavorful potato interior. Husband enjoyed the chicken vindaloo. They do a healthy takeout business for the surrounding area! $60ish for two entrees two naans and pakora was a great deal.

Relatively new Indian restaurant in Morrisville. I want to compliment the interior - there is a huge mural inside that's beautiful, and the decor / settings are very tasteful. For my order, I got the Majjiga Pulusu/Moore Kulambu (vegetables cooked in yogurt and coconut gravy) and Bullet Naan (a little more spicy than plain naan). The flavor was superb, because they don't play around with the spice. Service was friendly but could be a tad slow at times - I was with a friend and his dish came out about 5 minutes after mine did, which I didn't enjoy for him. Except for that, was an excellent experience and I would return to try more items from the (huge!) menu.

Similar to other reviews, I was not impressed with the food at Mango Grill. Yes, you do get a lot of food, but the quality and the spices are just not there. From the first bite of the chickpeas, I knew I had made the wrong choice. The chickpeas were in a soupy sauce that was a little salty, but combined with the Naan was a little tolerable. However, the vegetables could not be saved. Dry and odd tasting like they were sitting out for a while and were possibly reheated to land on my plate. The one saving grace was the chicken that had a little bit of spice but still fell flat. I was expecting way more than I received, especially for $15. Sorry, Mango Grill, I won't be back for any more of your food. There are better options out there.

This is one of my favorite Indian spots to visit in the Chapel Hill area! It's very close to UNC campus so I like the location for the convenience. The restaurant is decorated in a green and yellow "lime and lemon" theme which is very cute. Foodwise, my favorite dish has to be the butter chicken. I've had butter chicken from other Indian restaurants in the area and this place makes it the best. I will order the butter chicken either medium or hot depending on my mood. Medium heat is not very spicy, there is barely any kick to it. Although the hot dish is decently spicy that will make my nose water. They have decently generous portions. If I am starving, I will be able to finish the entire portion in a sitting, but usually an entree will last me two meals. Finally, the service is fantastic. The employees are always kind, attentive and the food comes out very fast. I have always had a great experience here. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good Indian food! I always find myself coming back here for more butter chicken!

I'm so glad we chanced on this amazing food kiosk at the Crabtree Mall! I ordered lamb biryani and the chicken kothu parota and they gave me a small serving of raita. Also, so glad the owners of the place stayed a little late for me for me to get my orders. So let's go on with the food gradesI'd give the biryani an A. Perfectly spiced and flavored and the fresh caraway and carom seeds mixed in provided that amazing aromatic flavor that made this dish so intoxicatingly delicious. The chicken dish was okay. A little too greasy but serviceable. B-.The raita side dish was just as I remembered it. It was tart, citrusy and creamy all at the same time. I give it an A.I'm definitely going back for another biryani serving!

Beautiful decor, attentive staff, good selection on menu. Lunch buffet always popular, has good selection and reasonable price.
Visit Restaurant Page"Good, solid Indian food in Chapel Hill. The spring dosa was a fantastic appetizer with a few different sauces for dipping. The lamb vindaloo had a decent amount of tender lamb with a great sauce. The chicken tikka masala was great as well. The garlic naan was good. The main area for improvement would be on the service. Our waiter was attentive early on but then was more difficult to get a hold of to ask for the check and some to go boxes. He gave a great recommendation for the spring dosa though. Overall, Cholanad is a solid restaurant and I will come back!"
"My husband and I were in Downtown Durham and hit up Brunello Wine Bar then walked over to grab dinner at Cheeni. He started off with a masala chai but they were not serving alcohol yet so I was able to walk over to Pour Taproom and bring a beer over. You start off your dining experience by opening a box that contains your utensils and menus. All of the food that we tried was delicious except for the dessert. I recommend checking out one of their locations."
"Visited the restaurant again today and wow they've changed their exterior, the decor, seating and overall ambience is so good now. Food and service seem to have gotten better too. Today we got the usual mango lassi for my son with plain utthappam. Uthappam was soft and portion size was really decent. He couldn't finish it so we helped him at the end. My husband got the chicken 65 with fried rice, it was really tasty, especially the fried rice. Chicken chukka was also very flavorful. I'm really satisfied with the portion to price ratio! I recommend this restaurant.... Also parking is never an issue and it's conveniently located"
"Adding some more dishes we enjoyed. Amritsari Chole Kulche were delicious! My husband loved the chicken lollipop."
"My friend and I feasted like queens this evening! We just finished walking 5 miles and totally over ordered (yay leftovers!!). We shared the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, saag paneer and okra. OMG the okra was outstanding! It was still slightly crisp and had roasted onions. The butter chicken came second, saag and chicken tikka third and fourth. The garlic naan could use more ghee and garlic but the naan itself was lovely. We split the leftovers and i have enough for 2 more meals. Lovely service and delicious food. We're happy ladies!"
"We had not been here in several years but wanted a quick bite after a social event nearby. We sat near the bar and ordered and paid using the QR code at the table. The food was delivered quickly and we enjoyed our masala chai, kofta curry and chicken curry utapan. Portions were relatively generous and we boxed up the rest of our meals to take home. My one minor complaint was that our garlic naan did not taste very garlicky to me. Otherwise, another fine meal served quickly from a friendly staff."
"This is one of my most favorite spot in Cary for Indian/Pakistani cuisine...I have been here multiple times and this place never disappoints! This is my go to place for authentic Nihari, we went there specially for Nihari but also ended up trying some different items off the menu.My first time trying Chaat Papdi here and it reminded me of home (India) ...i have say, the chaat was too good...freshly made... crispy and tangy..absolutely loved itTheir Chicken 65 was a hit and an item highly recommended by my 6 year old!We also tried their Chicken Karahi, perfectly spiced and flavorful..The owners are very sweet and friendly... love the decor and ambience. This place truly never disappoints! If you're looking for authentic Indian/Pakistani food, you have to try this place!!!"
"Lovely Indian restaurant. The place is spacious, casual yet comfortable. The service was excellent and very fast. The food was amazing. You have an option of mild,Medium, hot or very hot- choose wisely. The mild is still a little spicy!Every item was delicious. We had chicken 65- mild, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala and mutter paneer. The entrees come with rice. We ordered naan too. The masala chai was small, but tasty! And enough to to fill your tastebuds.A definite must for Indian food in Cary"
"Food was great. Let's begin with that. Everything tasted amazing. Ambiance was fine. Nothing amazing, but overall clean. We went post gym and didn't feel out of place. Nothing fancy. The service was lacking. The server was almost afraid to talk to us. We waited a long time and when we got our food one of the orders was wrong. We literally had to get up and go find the server twice."
"Came here on a Wednesday evening at 6:30. It was not busy when I arrived and I was quickly seated. They brought menus and a pitcher of water while I waited for my friend to arrive. My friend (who is Indian) introduced to this cuisine over a decade ago...Her and her mother have never made me a dish I didn't like but I always struggle with what to order when I go out to eat at an Indian restuarant. I've made it a point to try something different every time we go to a new one.I got the veg samosas and masala dosa. The samosas because they're my absolute favorite (seriously, who doesn't like fried pastries stuffed with spicy flavorful mashed potatoes!) and the masala dosa because of all of the lovely recommendations on yelp! The dosa is basically a huge crepe that you tear and eat with your hands. It comes with four dipping "sauces" which are some spicy potatoes, lentil dal, a creamy yogurt based sauce, and a tomato sauce. My friend ordered the kadai paneer and some roti. They refer to paneer as cottage cheese but it's not American cottage cheese. It's a non-melting soft cheese about the consistency of tofu. The samosas came out first and her paneer and my dosa came out shortly after. We were so busy talking and sharing the samosas that we didn't realize that they had brought us an incorrect paneer until they brought us the correct one! They told us to keep both and I was so excited to be able to try TWO more new dishes. The kadai paneer was tomato based but the shaahi paneer (which we didn't order) was cream based. The kadai was tasty but I LOVED the shaahi (my friend was generous and let me take it home.) We had so much food. The dosa was HUGE and the paneers each came with a bowl of rice and naan. We ended up demolishing the samosas, dosa, and roti but took most of the paneer (with rice and naan) home. The waitstaff was very attentive and polite. The owner even came over to make sure everything was going well. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean.I was very, very happy with my experience here I think I've found my new favorite Indian restuarant!!!"
"I'd never had momos and this was a great experience! We were eating with vegans so I appreciated they had some great options ! The menu was diverse (my husband could get his usual vindaloo) and the service was great! The food came out quickly and we enjoyed everything especially the Mustang Aloo and the Vegetable Momo Sizzler . We will be back to try some other goodies !"
"FoodThis place is extremely convenient for weekday dinners for us as it's near our swim school. Traditional South Indian food done well. Onion rava masala dosa, yes please! My son loved his mango lassi and his idli. My husband had chicken biryani - the quantity was huge and prices are reasonable and he said that it was a 4/5. Service The service was kind, prompt and fairly quick service. Ambiance It had a cafe-type feel with high tops and booths. It was quiet on a rainy Sunday and perfect for a family of three. We are happy and full."
"XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXThat's what I call an X-press. But it didn't get me a curry, so what was the point. Not a bad little cheap budget tasty nice wet Curry House (nice and wet, hmm) in the Triangle area, and one which just about deserves five stars for the tasty curry which could have used a little extra spice - and also for the excellent service.I'm a big fan of Indian food, especially British Indian style, but I do not like the U.S. bland Americanized variety. This is more along the lines of the kind of stuff that I like and it's definitely the best of its kind that I've had in North Carolina."
"We tried this Indian restaurant for their amazing lunch buffet! They have sooooo many options and everything tasted so delicious!! From fresh cut fruits and salad, they have various varieties of chaat, indo Chinese, North Indian dishes, lots of veg and non veg curries, pappadum, 2 types of biryani, idli, vada sambhar and 2 types of desserts. I have never seen these many items in an Indian buffet. They bring fresh naan on the table which is an added plus. The service is good and restaurant has a very nice ambiance."
"I enjoy Indian food and was super excited that this place was down the road from my job. It's located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. They offer buffet and you can order to go if you're in a rush. Service is great. As I waited for my order the staff offered me water and did not hesitate to answer all of my questions. The restaurant is clean and gives a slight elegant vibe!"
"JP Biryanis is a hidden gem for anyone craving flavorful and authentic food. The cozy ambiance makes it a great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. The chicken pepper fry and goat sukha were perfectly spicy and absolutely delicious, packed with bold flavors. Their chicken biryani was cooked to perfection and truly noteworthy. The service was friendly and attentive, making the overall experience even better. Recommended for biryani lovers!"
"It was my birthday and I wanted tk try something new! I've been a fab of southern Indian for awhile and since we were already in the Plaza grabbing some Chinese I figured why not.I ordered through Yelp via grubhub. When my husband went up to grab the order through the door, the guy was kind of a jerk since we didn't have an order number (grubhub name order) but he figured it out.Everything was pleasantly spicy and was exactly what I was expecting. If you like southern Indian (like dosas) I'd totally recommend tower Indian."
"I give Tamasha a solid four stars. This is one of the best Indian restaurants we've been to in the Triangle. The top three, in no particular order, are Tamasha (Raleigh), Viceroy (Durham), and Lime & Lemon (Chapel Hill location). They're all good to great for different reasons. For us, where Tamasha excelled was ambiance, presentation, and service. The restaurant is open for dinner only. For a nice night out, it checks all the boxes.Of the three restaurants mentioned above, Tamasha is the fanciest and most formal. It has a fine-dining-type atmosphere. They have a dress code: https://tamashanc.com/dress-code-policy-2/ Suggestions include blazers for men and dresses and "refined tops" for women, "elegantly coupled with dress pants, jeans, skirts, or dressy shorts." During our visit, the dress code wasn't strictly enforced.Viceroy has a nicer vibe and finer presentation as well, but it feels more relaxed (it's in Durham, after all). I thought the food at Viceroy tasted better than the food at Tamasha. My wife thought the opposite. Lime & Lemon is great for casual, straightforward Indian food. It's ideal for families and big groups. They serve common comfort-food-type dishes. Tamasha differentiates itself with its swanky and intimate dining experience, atypical when it comes to Indian restaurants in the States. The food and drink are creative and modern with fusion elements.Tamasha opened in February 2024 in North Hills. It's located on the ground level of the relatively-new Advance Auto Parts headquarters building. We found free parking in the attached deck. We entered via Plaza St and took an elevator to and from our parking spot, walking through the office building lobby each way.We wouldn't have known about Tamasha if it wasn't for our Indian friends telling us about it. They discovered the restaurant via Instagram and later saw it on TikTok. Visually, this place is made for Reels and TikToks. The interior design is stunning and opulent. Case in point, Tamasha made OpenTable and People magazine's list of 50 most beautiful restaurants in America: https://www.opentable.com/blog/c/most-beautiful-restaurants-usa/ (Note: I think the list features OpenTable restaurants only.)This place is popular so be sure to book your reservation well in advance. Tamasha awarded 100 OpenTable dining points when we dined (not all OpenTable restaurants award points). We booked over a month out for a Saturday and even then, all the peak times were taken.Below is a list of what four of us ordered. It should give you a decent idea of what this place has to offer in terms of food and drink, and how much it costs.Craft Cocktails* Renegade Tigress ($18) - Amrut Old Port Deluxe Rum, orange, tangerine, ginger, egg white, peach bitters* Diamond in the Rough ($19) - Redemption Rye Whiskey, honey, lemon, maple, sunflower, fennel* Queen's Necklace x2 ($18 each) - Empress 1908 Gin, lavender, blueberry, lemon* Bagged Milk x2 ($19 each) - Tito's Handmade Vodka, Kahlua Coffee Liqueur, Disaronno, espresso, oat milk, egg whiteAppetizers* Four Cheese Truffle Kulcha ($14) - sharp cheddar, brie, Asiago, chili, black truffle dust, truffle butter, shishito pepper and black winter truffle added (market price for black winter truffle was $22 for 3 grams)* Kozhi Vepudu ($21) - chicken thighs, shallots, fennel, puffed wild black rice, fermented rice and lentil pancakes, curry leaf and kale pachadi* Dahi Ke Kebab ($18) - yogurt croquettes, caramelized onion, cashew nut, raisins, cottage cheese, tomato and jaggery dipChaat & Salad* Chaat Mate ($28) - purple sweet potato, crunchy kale, crispy okra, and tuk aloo chaatLarge Plates* Yellow Tail Red Snapper Coastal Curry ($37) - slow-cooked snapper, green mango, coconut milk, curry leaves, shallots, grapefruit, Swiss chard, steamed rice* Dum Ki Nalli Gosht ($47) - slow-cooked 10 hours, lamb shank roasted in aromatic gravy, saffron rice, burani raitaDesserts* North Meets South ($15) - elaneer payasam, ghewar, rose, hibiscus, coconut jelly, and young coconut* Salted Palm Jaggery Cointreau gelato ($9)Breads* Garlic Naan ($7)* Flaky Laccha Paratha ($6)All of the food and drink were gorgeous. They care a lot about the look of everything here. That said, I couldn't help but notice that the elaneer payasam (tender coconut milk/water) in our "North Meets South" dessert was poured out of a gimmicky $15 Aladdin genie lamp: https://www.amazon.com/Gusnilo-Legend-Aladdin-Collectors-Peacock/dp/B08KZS3C12 But seriously, everything looked amazing. The only disappointment was the Renegade Tigress cocktail, which we sent back because it didn't taste good. Everything else was delicious. Standouts included the Bagged Milk cocktail, Chaat Mate, and North Meets South dessert. The red snapper and lamb shank were very good. Also, the Laccha Paratha was crispy and satisfying.Service was great. Near the end of our meal, owner Mike came over to our table and personally thanked us for coming in."
"Was in Raleigh area and was craving vegetarian food . Was happy to find a Honest restaurant close by . Coming from Edison NJ , we have had good experience with honest in Edison... went for lunch and it wasn't crowded . Good location and lots of parking outside . Nice rest rooms and easy to order .We had chola poori and it was really good ! Was surprised to see the poori , didn't have any oil in it . Was super dry and very delicious . Chola was awesome .. super hit - and loved the chola poori . We also ordered a thali .. it was average . I didn't like it much . Chapathi was good but chola for chappati didn't go well. Dhal was bland and less salt . Paneer was too sweet ! Rice was also too dry and I couldn't finish even half of it . Had dhal rice and pickle .. Gulab Jamoon was good . Might not recommend thali .. otherwise it was good overall. 3.5stars"
"I'm updating my review to talk about the lunch buffet. In short, I would recommend it! It's about $15.I was literally in and out of the restaurant in 30 minutes, and that's what I wanted! I was by myself and I just wanted to eat some Indian food and then go about my day! On the Friday I went, they had: fruit, naan, white rice, chicken biryani, dal, goat or lamb, masala okra, roasted chicken, veggie pakoras, either butter chicken or chicken tikka masala (I forget which), and a dessert. I tried almost everything, and it was just as good as the regular food they serve. They kept refilling the dishes even at like 2:30 PM, which was a pleasant surprise. I especially liked the veggie pakoras and the chicken. You can tell that I liked them from my pictures, because I went back and got more. The one thing I missed was some whole wheat bread option (they only had regular naan)."

"Above average food and service! We both got tikki chicken masala and shared some garlic naan.It was really good and we were both satisfied. The service was outstanding!"
"Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We started with tray of 3 toppings for a very light cracker and also ordered vegetable samosas filled with potatoes and peas. Then had jasmine rice with our meals. Chicken Tikka masala was a huge change for me who typically loves to eat chicken curry. But I'd have this meal again.Aloo gobi with cauliflower and even spicy level 2 was a bit much for a newbie but delicious. Loved the garlic naan and best to eat it fresh! Good service, plenty to eat and delicious food!"
