Food not always cooked to perfection - wings are small and lomein idoes not taste authentic anymore. Also prices have gone up too high!!

Been coming here for a very long time. We almost always do take out but it never misses. This food is always the most reliably good and tasty. The lo-míen shouldn't be missed and the chicken on a stick and ribs are delicious. Their sesame chicken with fried rice is also a hit. We have also had curry shrimp which is lighter and packed with flavor. Our favorite local Chinese food that's always good and reliable. :)

We ordered the #94 sweet and sour shrimp. When we returned home we realized we had received the #95 sweet and sour combination instead . The food tasted awful and we couldn't eat it.

I wish that I could talk Handy Chinese Restaurant to relocate to Oak Island NC! We lived about two miles away from Handy for 30 years and absolutely loved the nights when we would pick up our dinner there. Everything is always fresh and perfectly prepared. We moved to Brunswick County but are sure that we get Handy every time we are back in North Durham to visit family! They are the best and one of the things that we miss most about the area.
