We tried the free samples first and couldn't resist purchasing a few cookies. I should have purchased more since I ended up returning to the table later for more cookies. We purchased several chocolate mint and iced sugar cookies. The chocolate mint cookies were incredible. Cooked perfectly with an excellent balance of mint and chocolate flavors. The sugar cookies were beautifully decorated and tasted good. They would make a great gift. We also purchased one of the gluten free cookies. We have tried numerous gluten free products before and unfortunately did not like the taste of this one. Plus we didn't even give it to the intended person since the label said it contained gluten (see picture). I think it was just a generic label and "GF" was written on it, but still, we did not want to risk it. Overall, the regular cookies were excellent and we would eat them again!"

We got 2 milk chocolate, 1 molten lava, and 1 chocolate covered strawberry. The 4 pack was $13.95. We arrived about 2-3 minutes after placing the order and it wasn't ready yet. It was clean inside and not busy at all. The wait for receiving the cookies was short. We both only ate 1 cookie that night and one the next morning. They were soft and DELICIOUS. I will say that the cookies weren't hot or warm. I highly enjoyed the icing on the chocolate covered strawberry cookie. Strawberry is my favorite flavor and it did not disappoint! All in all, the cookies fulfilled our desires. The staff were friendly. No complaints, really, besides the appearance on the icing of my chocolate covered strawberry cookie."

In honor of Black History Month, I have made it my duty to support and promote black owned businesses across the triangle. I decided on the Oreo cupcake, triple chocolate, red velvet and lemon cheesecake pound cake. They were out of red velvet today. Everything was packaged neatly. I will say that they should improve on their branding. The packaging could use a facelift to make it eye catching and modern. It's 2023. My favorite item was the lemon cheesecake mini pound cake. So rich, moist and delicious. The icing was decadent. Each cupcake came in an appropriate container to keep the Kupcakes neat. I appreciated this for gifting. I would definitely return again to support the business and try new menu items. They have a small location in the Morgan St Food Hall as well to cut down on the gas to Morrisville."

Kellie R. "I honestly hate to give poor reviews and I do tend to give businesses with low stars a try (you never know if other people just came in on a bad day). Unfortunately, it seems as though service is getting a bad reputation with every customer coming in. Walking into Raleigh Rolls was fun for sure! I loved the artwork on the walls and loved the details of the painted water flowing onto the floor. The menu was easy to read but unfortunately, didn't list any ice cream flavors. I'm assuming every option gets their "vanilla" ice cream which is just cream in a bottle. I honestly don't know if it's even flavored and if it is, yikes (more on that). We were greeted by three of the staff, but they weren't very welcoming. The person doing my rolled ice cream did minimal interaction and didn't even look at me when asking a question. It just felt like we were unwanted there. I ordered the Nanner Pudding and my husband ordered Monkey Business. They looked amazing when we got them but the first bite left us wondering why these are so expensive? There's no flavor!! When I saw them make mine with two Nilla Wafer cookies and one slice of banana, I thought maybe the ice cream had banana flavoring (same with my husband who's ice cream was made with a little Nutella and one slice of banana). Both were just...flavorless. How is there an ice cream shop with flavorless ice cream?? I was shocked by this. $10 for a cup is way too much for that. Theres definitely room for improvement here and that starts with training their staff to be more welcoming and the other is to taste test their product before putting it out to the public."

This is an old gas station converted into a BBQ place, and it's clean but simple - but you're really not here for the ambiance or the service, you're here for the meat, and the meat is delicious. Easily the best brisket I've had in years, no question there, and it was helped along by some awesome sauces. The pulled pork was fantastic as well. Kellie R. "I've been to The Pickled Onion twice now and I'm a fan. I'm pretty picky about pub fare but there are a few things why I rated them at 5 stars instead of 4 (it was a toss up but I'll explain). The Pickled Onion can get very busy so it's best to come when the crowd has left, because that's when you get top notch service. You seat yourself and at one of the booths or tall tables. It's very open and feels more like a sports bar than a pub. Tables are always clean and the menus are wiped between customers. The menu is small but mighty. My go-to are the Blue Chips to start. I've ordered the Pork Belly Smack which was phenomenal and this past visit, I ordered the Shrimp Platter and exchanged the fries for mashed potatoes and gravy. And let me say, those mashed potatoes were real! Some places use the powdered stuff but this was the real deal. Besides the Blue Chips being a favorite of mine, I have to say that The Pickled Onion has THE BEST coleslaw I have ever had!! This last visit, our waitress did something that immediately made this original 4 star review into a 5 (and if you read my reviews, you know what she did...). She gave me another soda cup before I finished my first! Right there, that earns 5 stars! Having excellent customer service, delicious Blue Chips, AND the best coleslaw? Hannah E. "I'll go out of my way to visit any Korean place that offers eun deh gu jorim (stewed black cod dish with turnips and tofu), and this place does. Luckily, 7 of my friends were also willing to go out of their way, and we were able to have a big family style dinner and sample a bunch of different things!I'll start with the not-so-great:- Many of their dishes are unnecessarily sweet. Particularly the beef bulgogi, which has almost a sugar-candy coating.- The 'Korean BBQ' dishes really have no business being called that or costing as much as they do. At any other place, they would come out with wraps, extra fermented veggies, etc. Here it's just a tiny bowl of rice and a small plate of meat and onions - and it's in the high $20's - $30's depending on what you order.- The service was bad enough to impact our meal - usually I won't write about service because who cares, but he gave us beer bottles with no way to open them, sundubu with no spoons or serving bowls, and took almost half an hour to get the table some water. They were clearly understaffed and it wasn't wholly his fault, but still. The good:- They had one of the best haemool pajeon I've had in recent memory, really crispy, puffed, and fresh. I didn't even mind that they didn't serve it with any sauce.- Good tteokbokki. This dish can get pretty gummy and, honestly, boring after a few bites, but they kept it interesting with a light sauce and lots of cabbage and onions- What can be an oft-small, afterthought fried mackerel in other places was a behemoth, crisp, tender, meaty monster here! This side dish could have been a full meal.- Once we had spoons to eat our sundubu with, that was also delicious!"

She kept tabs on us well given how full the restaurant was.My spouse ordered fried scallops with fries. Over the years she's found it's hard to find good scallops around here, but she figured with it being Squid's they'd be pretty good. Unfortunately, they were just okay. I ordered the lobster and decided rather than wrestle with it, for an extra $2 they'll remove it all from the shells for you. I'd had a long day so it was a welcome option. It didn't look like much out of the shell when our waitress brought the plate, but it was plenty. As I ate it I decided crab legs really are my preference because the meat is so much sweeter. We ordered creme brulee for dessert. I was so looking forward to it! Our waitress didn't tell us it came with a fresh berry compote on it. It's cafe-style ordering, but the staff was so friendly in helping me pick out which dessert to get. I ordered the bingsoo, and it came with a delightful ball of sorbet on top of the shaved ice. I loved all the cheesecake bites. The cherry on top is that you can pour cream on top of the whole thing, which made it taste even more delicious. The bingsoo is definitely sharing size. You'll need at least two people to comfortably finish it. The hours are fairly long for a coffee shop (8am-8pm), and there's a medium amount of seating if you wanted to sit here for a while. After ordering, I received the croissants right away and the earl grey tea a few minutes later. Since it was warm out, I ordered a hot tea with a side of ice. I was informed that the tea was only steeped for about a minute. After leaving, I continued to let it steep. Even after steeping, the tea was very weak and cool (I didn't even need the ice). I think the water was not hot enough to properly steep. The croissants were delicious. Very flaky and satisfying. The chocolate croissant had a good balance of pastry to filling ratio.
