"I took my wife and daughter for Mother's Day, we were looking for an event restaurant at the same time as avoiding UNC, Duke and NC State graduation. A friend recommended Rey's and we were quite happy. Coincidentally we were in New Orleans a few weeks ago, we didn't book Rey's because of its New Orleans style, but we definitely felt it when we were there. I was impressed with the breadth of the menu, very challenging deciding what to order with many great options both as starters, salads and main courses. I ended up starting with the carpaccio, which had a lot of flavor outside the beef, as you sometimes just get nice meat but this was a more complete dish. I particularly liked the accompanying greens, they had quite a nice dressing. I ordered a ribeye medium rare as my main, it was also cooked perfectly and a nice steak. I added soft onions and although they were not world changing. I also found the sides simply okay. The better was the creamed spinach, which was nice but not the creamiest I have had. I did not particularly enjoy the asparagus, thin asparagus, nothing special. For dessert, we shared bananas foster, largely for the presentation and it lived up to it. Our waiter did a great job, the bananas tasted good, and they were nice enough to split it into three servings, each with sufficient ice cream.Service was very professional. Overall ambience was among the most formal I have experienced in the Triangle (very similar to Ruth Chris, not coincidentally also with NO roots), you didn't need a jacket but you would not be out of place without it. Overall, an excellent event restaurant."
"I dined here on 2/18/24 for a date. We arrived here around 7:50pm for an 8pm reservation. They have complimentary valet and it was very busy. By the time we got inside, it was 8pm exactly. After checking in, we were told it would be a couple minutes. There were about 3-4 people behind the host stand. There were MANY people waiting to be seated, which I assume they were walk ins. There is only one bench for waiting which IS NOT enough for the amount of people waiting. From what I saw and other reviews, I think this business should invest in a proper waiting area. In the summer, waiting outside would be nice. However on a cold and windy night (like the night I visited), that would be miserable. We were sat less than a minute later. (Note: After reading reviews with poor experiences regarding reservations, I was nervous. Thankfully everything went smoothly). The ambiance was composed of low lighting, light music, and a candle on the table. The waiter, Dylan, came over shortly after we sat. He provided waters for us. Dylan returned shortly after. He graciously went over the menu for us. As he did that, someone brought over complimentary bread. The bread was soft and warm! We ordered spinach and artichoke dip as a start around 8:12pm. The dip came at 8:27pm and it was very hot (in temperature). The chips that accompanied it were crispy and tasty. We enjoyed it. We ordered our dinner at 8:29pm. We both got prime ribeye cooked medium and shared a loaded whipped potatoes side. (Note: All the sides are shareable). I also ordered a Thyme Lemon Drop that came 15 mins after ordering. Our food was brought over at 8:58pm. The prime ribeye was one of the best steaks I've ever tasted, no joke. I love the crisp edges. It was very juicy, tender, and flavorful! My mouth is watering right now as I reminisce on it! We enjoyed the loaded potatoes but we got full. We barely ate 1/3 of it. I forced myself to finish the steak because it was so delicious and didn't want to take it home and reheat it improperly. We were asked if we wanted dessert but we were honestly STUFFED! I definitely want to return. When/if I do, I will plan to save room for dessert. 2 steaks, 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, and 1 side was over $200. Keep that in mind when dining. I can say that we had a pleasant dining experience with no complaints. If I had to complain, I would say it took a while to receive our drinks. However, it was busy, so it was understandable. After dinner, I did go to the restroom. It was clean but busy. No complaints there. I was glad valet has slowed down by the time we finished dinner. The wait for my car was fairly short. However... I watched valet hop the curb in my car... ; So I would be cautious if you chose to utilize that service."

"We had a wonderful experience at Bin 54 Steak & Cellar. This is one of the only non-chain, high-end steakhouses in Chapel Hill. The food, drink, and service were among the best we've experienced in the Chapel Hill-Durham area. This is a locally-owned-and-operated business. It's been around since 2006, so it's stood the test of time. If you're looking for a nice dinner out in Chapel Hill, I highly recommend this place.Book your reservation using OpenTable. I'm a fan of OpenTable because it lets you earn rewards such as restaurant discounts and Amazon gift cards. I used my last two points redemptions for gift cards. It's a nice perk for dining out at no additional cost to you.Bin 54 is located in the small Glen-Lennox Shopping Center on highway 54 (Raleigh Rd) at 15-501 (Fordham Blvd). There's free self-parking in the shopping center's lot. No valet. Every time we've come here, the parking lot has been close to full. This is one of those classic, old-school, white tablecloth steakhouses with formally-dressed staff, some in suits like the general manager (Michael Fiscus, who greeted us when we checked in) and sommelier. All staff wear at least bow ties/neckties. We had a Tuesday 7:30pm reservation. We arrived early and the place was packed and busy. Bar manager Collin Lusty took care of us while we waited at the bar. Here, you have the option of eating at the bar.The interior was dimly lit with different rooms and nooks with seating. My wife and I were seated at one of the two-tops in the center of the main dining room. The way the room is setup, there are U-shaped booths along the perimeter so the folks who sit there look inwards towards the center tables. For a two-top, our table was nice and big to fit everything, but my wife and I were farther apart from each other than we're used to when dining out (a lot of leaning forward to talk; not a big deal).Below is a list of what we had. It should give you an idea on what Bin 54 has to offer and the pricing at the time of our visit."Beginnings" (Appetizers)* Beef Tenderloin Tartare ($18) - cornichon, capers, shallots, quail egg, potato crisp* Seared Diver Scallops ($25) - cauliflower puree, butternut squash caponata, Calabrian chili agrodolce"Land" (Steaks)* Bone-In Ribeye ($78) - 22 oz. with au poivre vert sauce on the side* Filet Mignon ($55) - 10 oz. with bearnaise sauce on the side"Companions" (Sides)* Mushroom Ragout ($14) - garlic, thyme* Creamed Spinach Casserole ($12)* Truffled Four Cheese Macaroni ($16)Dessert* Banana Pudding ($12) - bourbon pecan cookie, toasted meringueClassic Cocktail* Perry's Terrace-tini ($14) - Absolut Citron vodka, pomegranate liqueur, lemon juice, mint; served up with a lemon twist and topped with sparkling cava* Vesper ($15) - Bombay Sapphire Gin, Stolichnaya "Stoli" Vodka, Lillet Blanc; served up with a twistSpecial Wine Feature* Portuguese Flight (three 3-ounce pours for $29)- Quinta de Saes, Dao Tinto, 2018- Fitapreta, A Touriga Vai Nua, 2021- Asnella, Single Vineyard, 2021 (Vinho Verde)Everything was phenomenal. No matter what type of food or drink it was, it was perhaps the best we've had in the Triangle, from the Scallops to the Banana Pudding. Even the complimentary bread and butter was fantastic. The Beef Tenderloin Tartare and the Seared Diver Scallops were terrific. One thing that stuck out to me about Bin 54's Beef Tartare was the potato crisps. Presumably housemade, they were really good. The Scallops were incredibly flavored and the meat itself was fresh and succulent. The steaks were A+. We ordered both steaks medium rare and they came out perfect. All aspects of the steaks were on point, from how they were seasoned and cooked to the meat quality. The au poivre vert and bearnaise sauces were housemade and excellent. The sides were amazing too. My wife and I love mushrooms and the Mushroom Ragout hit the spot. The mushrooms were super tasty and had very appetizing textures too. Both the Creamed Spinach Casserole and the Truffled Four Cheese Macaroni were rich and addictive. Generous portions.I loved everything about the Banana Pudding, from the toasted meringue on top to the cookie crumbles inside (my favorite part). This may have been the best Banana Pudding I've had anywhere. The cocktails were strong and delicious. The wine was superb. Our server Brandon was great. This business runs like a well-oiled machine. They got all the details locked down. If I recall correctly, Brandon used to be the bar manager at Cucciolo Osteria in Durham. The executive chef, Kevin Draper, came over from Fearrington House in 2009, so no surprise why the food is exceptional here.Bin 54 is part of the Giorgios retaurant group, named after founder-owner restaurateur Giorgios Bakatsias. At the time of writing this review, there are 16 Giorgios restaurants, 15 of which are located in the Triangle. In Chapel Hill, Kipos Greek Taverna and Osteria Georgi are also part of the group."
"Firebirds is a excellent choice for a meal. I visited for a late brunch and enjoyed the variety their menu brings. They have creative cocktails and so many dishes to choose from. The service was excellent from staff. When we arrived we were offered the opportunity to choose from the brunch or dinner menu. I adored the neat, creative & clean presentation of our food and cocktails. I ordered the Seasonal craft cocktail Fuego Mojitarita with a jalapeño garnish. It was very flavorful and garnished well. For my meal I had the fried green tomatoes and crab cakes and eggs from the brunch menu. I did not enjoy the fried green tomatoes unfortunately. The crab cakes were huge and the dish was so flavorful. The Potatoes were nice and crispy. Overall a good choice for brunch."
"This was our first time dining here. We received a gift card for our anniversary. It's super helpful that you can make reservations online, and it seems like most people have reservations when dining here. One odd thing was that we originally had a reservation for July 3 that got canceled the day of because they were closed that week. That was disappointing, and we only found out via an automated email. So, this August visit was my second reservation attempt, and thankfully no issues.Service was great. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. The provoleta appetizer and the chocolate soufflé were my favorites! I am not a steak person so I had the chicken caper - it was OK - but I'd probably try something else next time. My husband had the churrasco steak and said it was great! Overall, this was a nice spot that I plan to return to for special occasions when dining out."
"There's only 10 tables and they only serve one thing, but that one thing is a prime rib-eye steak ! It is so good people tailgate in the parking lot for hours for it !Amazing"
"I was at the bar on a Monday evening. I enjoyed the Sparking Sake and pan-fried dumplings. My bartender that evening was Robert who was amazing. I enjoyed my experience here."
"I had a nice rib eye steak with onion rings and a salad. Too bad my first steak, which was supposed to be medium- rare, came medium well. The manager brought it and said how does it look. I said let me cut it. He didn't stay to see. I had to wait for my server to return. The 2nd steak was much better. Service was lacking. Sat at the first table and it took awhile to get water and a menu. The server was not very attentive. Slow on ice tea refills, didn't ask if i wanted ketchup for my onion rings. Took forever to get. I saw him just standing around. Didnt ask if i wanted steak sauce i dont, and I didn't recommend anything. Surprised the manager didn't offer a dessert when bringing the 2nd steak. Glad he didn't since I didn't need it. Good dinner rolls. 5 minutes from the airport and many hotels"
"Delicious! This steak house is phenomenal! I went for my birthday celebration. I'm so happy my companion picked the place. So so good! The bread and butter was a great start. The butter was a standout. My dining companion wanted to take some home. Unfortunately. I didn't like any of the wine I tasted. So I ordered an apple cider martini. It was one of the drinks on special. It was very good. So glad I chose that drink. I ordered a wedge salad. It was also delicious. I ordered a ribeye and had two sides. Baked potato and wedge salad were my sides. I couldn't have been happier. I will be recommending this place to everybody."
"The Peddler Steak House is located in the Oak Park Shopping Center off Glenwood Ave. It is tucked away to the left side of the shopping plaza so you might not know that it is there. It felt like the restaurant was there before the rest of the shopping center. The shopping center has plenty of parking.Reservations are taken for groups of 8 or more so if your group is smaller you might have to wait for a table. We were a group of 11 and none of us had been to the Peddler Steak House before. The restaurant is on the dark side so the dining experience would have been better with more lighting so you don't need your phone flashlight to read the menu. The tables are closer together than I would have liked too. When you walk in there is a small dining room with the kitchen to your right and the bar to your left. Then there are smaller rooms and that is where my group was seated.Service was good here but slow so give yourself plenty of time here. I went with the Filet Mignon and sweet potato. The salad bar is also included with the meal. I don't like salad bars so would have preferred a side salad. The Filet Mignon was outstanding and one of the best I've had. The sweet potato was also good and came with a cup of cinnamon.I'd eat here again as the filet was delicious."
"Consistently good food and good service. The specials offered have variety. The owner is very involved and it shows, the restaurant is always clean as well as the bathrooms. The location is out of view but most locals eat there. It's less than a minute from HWY 64/CVS, if you haven't been there .... GO!"

We went to this restaurant right after landing in North Carolina and we were so hungry and I'm so glad we picked this restaurant because the food was awesome. We sat in the bar area which had wonderful ambience. We had the Aji tuna appetizer and let me tell you the wasabi that came with. It was the strongest wasabi I've ever tasted in my life. The garlic mashed potatoes were life-changing and I really enjoyed the sautéed spinach and my steak. We enjoyed the lamb chops because they weren't too gamey. The crab appetizer has a good amount of crab and is a favorite of my father who is a regular at this restaurant. Would definitely come back!

Complimentary Parking - well that was the start of things. We made reservations and were seated promptly by the hostess. She was very kind and helpful. The overall feel of the restaurant was pleasant, clean, extremely cold, and dimly lit. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the business and the menu. She gave good suggestions as this was over first time eating here. We decided to order from the anniversary menu - which was a 4 course meal for $44. Overall, we believe for what we received it was a good deal. The cons: the steak was over cooked. The pork chop bites were overcooked. The salads were drowned in dressing. Would we return? Maybe.

The reservation was made on open table. We dined in for NYE, and there was a short wait to be seated. I have fallen deeply in love with Bin54. My friend and I split the 22 oz ribeye. So flavorful and delicious. The best steak I have had all of (2022). Everything we ordered at our table was top-tier in taste. I love that Bin54 has a sommelier available to provide expert knowledge. I believe my friend ordered the Vouvray, which my friend loved. It was her taste for white wine. I'm more of a red fan, so I opted for a French 75 and a dirty martini which were both delicious. The service here was impeccable and as expected for fine dining.

We came in and selected a bar table. The tables are not square or even round, they have these curvy shapes, so I like the uniqueness, it's just that you have to kind of figure out where you are going to put everything. But we were sitting at the table for 6 or 7 minutes and nobody came. Finally, I made some eye contact with a staffer and we got going. The inner circle has a NY strip deal with a spicy steakhouse butter and side dish for $19.99. Steak was cooked medium rare as I asked, very juicy with some nice char on it. Great job! The butter was quite good, though I didn't need all of it on the steak, the excess butter actually worked well in the steamed vegetables. The other side was southwest Au Gratin potatoes, a little spicy and super hearty and satisfying. While the service got off a to a rough start, it was more about disorganization in the late afternoon, it's not as if anybody was mean.

My husband and I ate here for Valentine's Day and had a most wonderful time. Our server, Allison, was delightful and attentive and we enjoyed talking with the owner. The food was exquisite, especially the desserts. YUM! Can't wait to visit again.

To call this place an icon is an understatement. I worked for a bank that was hq'd in Wilson back in the day. When we had holiday parties, my pretentious manager used to groan when this place was suggested. "Oh," he'd sneer, "you mean the place where you can get a ribeye, or a RIBEYE?!" Yeah that's right, it's a steakhouse, they only serve ribeye. They bring the whole ribeye to your table and you tell them how thick you want it, and it's cooked to order. Comes with a visit to a spotless salad bar & baked potato. I revisited this spot recently so my husband could experience this incredibly simple but wonderful spot, and it did not disappoint. It's been several weeks and he's still talking about how great his meal was.

This was a fun place to take the kids to eat for a special occasion. Chefs gave a great show. The waitress was very helpful and nice. Food was good and we got a lot of food. We tried the shrimp, steak and chicken. All good! I'd recommend making reservations. The place got really busy (we went on a Sunday afternoon)

I would choose Capital City Chophouse again for my next date night or a birthday dinner. Located in Morrisville, NC near the airport, this steakhouse has a nice and quiet ambiance, decent prices, and delicious food. There was so much to choose from that I had to ask the waiter to choose for me. We made the right decision selecting the crab dip, ribeye with a Caesar salad, and short ribs with mashed potatoes and spinach, paired with a Zelda Fitzgerald and a complimentary birthday dessert. Other notes: Our server was friendly and attentive. There is plenty of parking space in the lot. Prepare to spend a bag but it's worth it.

"The best hibachi in the Triangle and surrounding area! This is the type of hibachi that I grew up on and the way it should always be. I haven't had quality hibachi at this level in a long time. I went with the hibachi steak, which came with fried rice, broccoli, carrots, and the yum yum / shrimp sauce. The portion was just right for the quality. The fried rice complimented the protein and veggies, flavors were just right. The shrimp sauce was on point -- that's how you make the sauce! Overall, customer service was top-notch! Shout out to my waiter/waitresses for being at the top of their game! The parking lot was a bit hard to get in during the dinner rush but it's worth finding a parking space."
"Clean with a near perfect health grade. Outside may be deceiving. A very nice vibe inside. Open grill area for steak preparation and decorated nicely. Steaks were good, hamburger was good, baked potato was good and service was ideal. We would visit again."
"Absolutely 5 star, incredible little spot with perfect French Onion Soup, Wedge Salad and Dry Aged Ribeye worth telling people about. Fabulous! Not a single complaint. Wirth making reservations for a special night."
"I ate here for lunch and had the Samurai. The chef was really entertaining and the portion sizes were very generous. The ribeye was incredibly tender and the grilled shrimp cooked perfectly. I also had chicken, which was just as tasty, but by the time I got around to the chicken, I was going into a food coma! The restaurant was also very clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I plan on going back to have another meal and recommend Kabuki if you want a special, entertaining dining experience."
"Will, I wanted to give you another chance, so tonight I had the 10 oz Ribeye, it was delicious cooked just the way it is supposed to be. I have eaten here several times, once I was not happy, but 1 out of 5 with 4 times being great, I have to give 5 stars. By the way there is nothing better than having an owner that is passionate about his food, I met him when I came in and he is passionate! Well done!"
"I took my mom to eat here because it was close to the hotel we were staying at and I was happy I did. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was good and a nice size portion, and the place was clean. The French toast really stood out because it was really tasty. They had a senior menu choice which was discounted. The coffee was the only thing that we found not good. Overall, a great place to visit."
"The Seahorse Steakhouse is a busy place. I knew there was going to be a wait when I saw the parking lot so full. When you arrive get your name on the list at the counter and stand around with the other folks waiting for a table and stare at the case of cakes that look so very good. I was there during the prime rib special that is two days a week and seems to be a popular choice from what I could hear. The other patrons were friendly while we waited. I'm not sure how long it took to be seated but when my name was called I was put into a booth. At the other tables and booths I noticed the waitstaff knowing the names of the other patrons so that is always a good sign. My waitress was friendly and gave some recommendations. I ordered a piece of cake to go first thing as I wanted to be sure I got a slice of the pig pickin' with the pineapple and mandarin oranges. Bread and hush puppies were brought out with my beverage. I was even offered more if I chose. I went with the filet mignon and shrimp as I couldn't decide between the two so went with an option on the menu to get both. I also got a baked potato and mac n cheese. The potato was huge. Both the filet and the shrimp were great as was the baked potato. I wasn't a fan of the mac n cheese as much so when I got full I was ok not finishing or taking that with me.I will be back the next time I am in Greenville, NC."
"That was an amazing philly cheese steak -- better than Philly and it's in Raleigh! I stopped in a little after the lunch rush. My Philly cheesesteak was made to order. I waited less than 10-minutes to receive it. Wow! It was hot and fresh! I got a half size and it was bigger then I imagined. It's enough if you're eating it with fries. The fluffy bread was able to hold the juicy sandwich together. The meat was well cooked and seasoned. Cooked to perfection in my opinion. The fries were also fresh out of the frier. The whole lunch was only $10 -- for quality and freshness. Overall, fantastic customer service. The owners was very kind. I really enjoyed my experience here and look forward to dropping in again when I'm craving a sandwich."
"I finally found the best Mexican restaurant in Clayton and most likely within the surrounding area. You definitely get a warm and welcoming feeling upon walking in the door. This family-owned restaurant doesn't miss a beat in getting you seated, situated and ready for a drink. As most Mexican restaurants, the menu has a lot to offer and so does the full bar. They make a very good Margarita and plenty of chips and salsa to go with it. I was glad I tried the cheese dip with the chips, it was a pleasant switch from the customary salsa. The enchiladas verdes is a very tasty entree and clearly made with quality beef and chicken, which is yet another thing that sets this place apart. I now have two Mexican restaurants close by that I feel confident enough to dine at on a regular basis.Cheers!"
"Just the right place for brunch. Great food options and awesome service. Loved the overall experience"
"Wife and I made our first visit here this past weekend.01/14/22We did not have a reservation but we were able to be seated immediately at a bar height table in the bar area, which was fine for us.Our waitress, Theresa, was very helpful and attentive. Our food come out quickly. I had the BBQ Pork Chop which was cooked perfectly to order and was so juicy and tender. Very good.Wife had a burger that she said was wonderful.Appetizer was potato skins which were good. Drinks were well made also. We ordered a Chocolate Confusion dessert to go. We had it later on and it was fantastic and not too rich. Thanks to Theresa and the rest of the staff for making our first visit a great experience."
"This steakhouse is wellknown to the locals in upper NC and lower VA. It is always packed and once you taste the food you will see why. Various other reviews state how they take the time and care to make your steak the right way and this is extremely accurate. Althouhonly certain sizes of steak are priced on the menu they will cut your steak to whatever size you like and expertly prepare it for you. I had a 16 oz prime rib and it was delicious when it hit the table and the leftovers were delicious the next day. If you are in this part of NC and you are a fan of steak, do yourself a favor and stop by. PS. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and well versed in the restaurant's offerings.l"
"I'm all about an awesome sub shop! This spot is right when you turn in, by the entrance to the Harris Teeter garage. I ordered online, it said 35 minutes, but I arrived early and it was ready. If you order online just know your sandwiches will be in the bag, but you have to get all your a la cart sides and dessert items directly from the case. If I hadn't looked in the bag, I would have walked out without half of my order. I got the sharp Italian and it was delicious! I'm always a fan of Italian grinders and this one did not disappoint. I got the small size and it was stuffed full, definitely substantial. My husband got the chicken parm and his sandwich was much smaller. I'd personally stick with more of the deli cuts. I thought the sides were awesome. I loved the marinated mozzarella and the pasta salad was spot on. I also enjoyed the rice pudding for dessert.I look forward to grabbing subs here again!"
"Good friendly service, food is good but not great, if your in Nashville this is one of the better sit down lunch dining. Place is really clean. With healthy options this is not a greasy bbq place."
"This place was such a treat with great service! The waiter was a student from ECU and he was extremely attentive with great recommendations. I will be sure to visit again whenever I'm in Greenville."
"My mom is visiting and wanted fish so she found this restaurant on Google. And boy was it a good choice. First, we called our order in and the woman who answered the phone had some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. She was patient as we asked a number of questions and explained the menu. We ordered a fish dinner with green beans, cole slaw and an extra corn on the cob (hold the bacon) and a fish and shrimp dinner with green beans and fried okra. Honestly the portion size was large, food was hot and delicious!! I have found a new spot in Goldsboro for fish!!!My only reason for not giving the final star was the number of workers who did not have their masks covering their noses and lack of gloves as the waitress checked orders. COVID has made me more conscious of this and expect more from businesses!"
"This place was pretty good. I got the scallop hibachi. The scallops were tender although appeared to have been cut in half and were very thin. Would have preferred them whole. I didn't love all the sauce they used to cook with scallops and veggies in before serving. It was sweet and too much in my opinion. With that said, it was a lot of food, the staff was very friendly and the take out process was seamless. I would go back for sure and maybe ask them to go easy on whatever sauce/marinade they use to cook with."
"We came across this place by chance.. and wow were we lucky!! So delicious! Steak was cooked perfectly and the salad bar was just the right size. We will be back for sure!"
