"They are only doing To Go orders, which was fine with us, as I wanted to bring home dinner. Ordered before I left work, and everything was ready and waiting for me when I arrived ten minutes later. We could not have been happier with the quality, quantity and taste of everything we ordered. From the crab rangoon, to the Thai Basil Chicken dinner combo that came with fried rice and an egg roll, to the Malay Sambal Chicken and the Black Pepper Shrimp, everything was terrific! And the two of us got three meals out of it all."
"TLDR: Reasonably priced and portioned Asian food with great flavor. Takeout only after 3 pm. Easy online ordering and pick-up. Decent place for Asian cuisine in Raleigh! We decided to try out a new restaurant for Chinese and picked Ni Asian Kitchen. After 3 pm, they switch to takeout only. We placed a to-go order online. The website was easy to use and the entrees are customizable. I like how they offer choice of all protein options for each entree. Estimated pick up time was 30 min after placing the order. Our order was ready on time and accurate. They were booming on a Saturday evening. The tables were filled with takeout orders and a line of customers inside. I can see why they are popular. The menu is varied and affordable. Plus delicious with heathy and not-as-healthy options. We picked 5 entrees plus an appetizer which came to $70. We ordered orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, Thai basil tofu, Dan Dan noodles with chicken, pot stickers, and vegetable lo mein. All of the items were good and included fresh veggies. The only item we did not like as much was the orange chicken. It lacked orange flavor and mainly tasted like green peppers. We were quickly satisfied and saved about half for leftovers. Overall, we had a good experience here and recommend this restaurant to others!"

"Chinese food so good... you don't even need soy sauce!! This was our second time ordering and it was great both times! I had chicken and broccoli the first time and chicken lo mein this time with steamed dumplings and spring rolls! I was half way through the chicken lo mein when I realized I hadn't use soy sauce that's when I realized this is awesome food! Everything tastes fresh and real.. well seasoned! KEEP IN MIND THIS WHOLE SHOW IS BEING RUN BY THE OWNER! My husband picked up the food both times says the guys is cool but sometimes he won't answer the phone cause he's cooking you may have to walk in and order and wait about 20 minutes cause he takes his time but it's worth it! Bring a book and relax! We got all the food pictured and it was about $40 that sounds high but I mean look at how full the plates are you get your monies worth!! I definitely have leftovers!"
"Sister Liu's Kitchen is a homestyle northeastern Chinese Food restaurant with food made by hand with family recipes that opened up shop in Durham, according to its website. Its burger, that landed it in the spotlight, is a $8.45 pork burger, according to Nexstar. The restaurant also offers a beef and vegan burger -- but is known for its cooked dumplings. Sister Liu's Kitchen has 13 dumpling combinations and sells them frozen by the pound so customers can make them at home. There are no descriptions for the burgers on its menu, other than "Chinese Burger 馍". The pork is glazed between two butter-toasted buns with a green garnish. It's some mystery good enough for seventh-best in the world. You should try this burger because it is excellent."
"I am genuinely shocked that this place has such low reviews on Yelp. It was expensive, for sure, but everything we ordered for lunch was delicious. It is one of the only restaurants in Chapel Hill with traditional Sichuan dishes. The highlights of our meal were the 回锅肉 (twice cooked pork) and their 香辣鱼 (sichuan spicy fish). The pork was addictively sweet, spicy, and salty, perfectly paired with white rice. The fish was battered then fried, and had a shatteringly crisp shell and tender, flaky fish sprinkled with various spices making it a bit spicy and salty. It paired wonderfully with the sauce from the twice cooked pork."
"Very last minute decision to go to Jujube after a long day at the office, and we live on the other side of town. Better to enjoy some delicious bites and a cocktail than sit in traffic on 40! While I feel it's slightly difficult approach this location, everything after that was amazing. Early dinner on a Monday, got right in on the simple yet lovely outdoor patio. Host was kind, service was great. We started with the short rib goat cheese wontons and they were just right. Salty, sweet, creamy, slight spice to the sauce. Five total in an order. Very generous for a starter.I went all in and got the lemongrass hanger steak. My husband got the beef bulgogi. Both were so yummy! The hanger steak was simple. Perfectly cooked, sea salt, lemon grass (naturally) with a side of peanut sauce and the most amazing cucumber salad I've ever had. As a lover of peanut sauce, I still could've done without it. The steak was great alone. The beer bulgogi was smokey, delicious. We finished with the chocolate mousse with cookie crumbles. It was good, but I honestly enjoyed the main dishes much more. More and more, service is key for me. They were celebrating their 18th anniversary (I think) at jujube this day and I can see why. Just a great, genuine overall delicious experience. I can't wait to return and wait out traffic. I'd also go out of my way to eat there again."
"I've had two really wonderful dinners at G58. The ambiance here is definitely upscale, so I would dress up accordingly. The service has been spot on, super friendly, and helpful. On my most recent visit I went with a larger group so we were able to try a great variety. First off the Peking duck is delicious. You have to call them or note you your reservation that you would like the duck. The skin was so crispy and I loved the fresh pancakes and elevated sauces. Dipping the crispy skin in sugar was not something I've tried before. Our server helped us navigate the menu a bit. We ended up getting their filet and two types of fishes to share to share for entrees. The fish that they boil in hot oil was amazing. It didn't have a super enticing description on the menu, but our server let us know that it wasn't crazy spicy and was perfect for sharing. It held true to his promises! The filet also melted in your mouth and the table loved the beef dumplings as appetizers. I also love that they bring out a little red velvet cake with a candle if you are there for a celebration. Just a nice little touch!"
"My recent dinner at this place was seriously amazing! The staff, from the friendly servers to the awesome owner (Amy) made the whole place feel like home. Without a doubt, the star of the show- the King Crab cooked in two ways. First is the steamed version with garlic and it was like a flavor explosion letting the crab really shine. The second part was fried with chili and other veggies that made the whole experience a game changer. The whole vibe of the place, from the cool decor to the carefully picked menu, screams top-notch. I left thoroughly impressed and recommend to anyone exploring their culinary journey."
"Tried dinner at one of the few Chinese restaurants in Durham! They serve pretty flavorful Sichuan food that isn't too spicy with shareable portion sizes. We came here on a weekday evening and it was pretty empty for dine-in. We ate:Spicy Beef Dry Pot ($19.99) - Like hot pot but everything is stir fried! Pretty good.Mapo Tofu with Minced Pork ($13.99) - This is comfort food for me!"
"Consistently tasty Chinese restaurant near Meredith. I always pass this joint driving along Hillsborough. It's an unassuming stand alone building along the road with a slim parking lot. When I saw the reviews, I decided on a whim to stop by and haven't been disappointed since. It's mostly a take out place, although they do have tables inside of you want eat fresh. Since the pandemic they have placed some protection in front of the cashier stand. The owners have a thick accent and can be curt, but they're nice people and busy since it's popular with the students. This recent order was for the Hunan chicken dinner combo. Egg roll not pictured. Standard veggies with chicken in a brown sauce. A "healthier" option for American Chinese food since there's some vitamins instead of just fried chicken ;) The sauce has a nice kick with the pepper flakes and it's not overly greasy like some other places I've visited. I ordered the fried rice with egg: classic taste. The egg roll has a hint of mustard."
"A great spot for takeout! It seems like dining in is not an option at the moment. I ordered my food and it was ready in 10-15 minutes. I love how it's a family-run business with the parents working in the back and the kids helping out in front. That's always a warm feeling. I ordered a side of egg drop soup along with the orange chicken. The portions were huge! It took me 3 meals to finish it. The fried rice was okay."
"Easily some of the best Chinese food we have had in a very long time. This was our first time dining here and we will definitely be back. We ordered crab Rangoon and it was full of the cream cheese goodness. While the are deep fried there is no greasy taste or appearance to them which I find is often the case at most places. We both got an egg roll and while good, nothing spectacular and know we can do without them next time. lolWe have been on a search for GOOD fried rice and based on the pictures here on Yelp, Mei Wei's looked like it might end the search. We ordered a small chicken fried rice and it definitely hit passed the test. The only (and this is just a personal preference for me) thing I would change is adding egg, carrots and onions to it. Then it would be perfect!!!I ordered the general tso's and it was so good. The chicken was not soggy, not only is the portion enough for 2 meals, the chunks of chicken are a really good size. The hubs got the beef with broccoli and said it was easily some of the best he has had in the last 5 years. All in all, the food was amazing and this will definitely be our go to spot for Chinese."

We love it here. We moved away from the area and drive about 40 minutes to take a trip there. They can do so much gluten free.It is no nonsense and good clean food. It's always excellent. Today my basil tofu was a little salty. It's still excellent but it was not as excellent as usual. Still worth the trip as everything else is perfect. I would up taking a chicken chow fun home (gluten free) of course!

Hands down the best Chinese food in the area. I finally found my place! I'm from NJ and we do Chinese food the best in the Northeast. I'm so happy I found this place.

You NEED to try to spicy beef burger!! Beef was tender, so flavorful, and really spicy. The bun was soft, but still had a good amount of chew at the same time. I also got the pork chive dumplings which were also good, but not the star of the show. The dumplings had a lot less filling and more dough than I would've liked, but it was still tasty. I will definitely come back for more of the Chinese burgers!

I have to update my review because after getting takeout from here again, I have to say I am appalled at the sheer amount of oil in their dishes. The egg rolls were practically inedible because of the sogginess from the loads of oil. Do yourselves and your stomachs a favor by eating somewhere a bit healthier. Or be mindful about what you order.

I thought it was good but not great. My daughter and I started by sharing three small plates. Small is not completely accurate, all of them were quite robust and we ended up with a lot of food. The best of the three was the wontons with short rib and cheese. Five large wontons, fried well and the meat was tasty. The kale salad was mixed. I personally liked the candied pistachios (they tasted like pistachio ice cream), others at our table not as much. It was a little greasy for a salad and also almost as if they couldn't decide between traditional kale and crispy kale, kind of the worst of both worlds. I liked the cauliflower starter but it was quite sweet. For a main, I had the hangar steak with cucumber salad. Again, a nice sized portion and the steak was cooked exactly like I asked (medium rare), though I found the peanut sauce a little tasteless. Overall a good meal with caveats.

I came here to try the Peking duck and I found that many other dishes were also notable. We started with the egg rolls, but they are pretty standard. The Szechuan fried fish was kind of like a hot pot, but so much more tender. It was unreal. The pork belly was perfectly done, with a sweet and salty glaze. And the Peking duck was generous enough for four, along with 12 rice wraps and a variety of condiments. What stood out the most was how knowledgeable the wait staff was, being able to describe the preparation and other aspects of the dishes. It made the meal that much more enjoyable. The only downside was the price. I've had these dishes in San Francisco, and you can get the same quality for less money. That seems a bit out of place for somewhere in Morrisville.

Hot pot is oh so good for the soul! I stumbled into here randomly one cold night - and I am so glad I did! When you first sit down, you are provided a paper menu that you can indicate how you want to making your hot pot. You have the option to select from different broths, vegetables, meats and fish, of different varieties. You will definitely find something you like, with no problem. The restaurant itself is very casual, and it's a good place for groups to come to enjoy a night out. If you want a casual and comfortable hot spot place, this is a good place to come to!

"We've been searching South Durham for a good Chinese restaurant for years. This one is definitely the best we have come across. Currently, they are not open for indoor dining. They have a great setup for takeout so you don't even need to go inside! They also have paid attention to small sanitary details like having a dirty pen bin so you are only picking out a clean one.The portions were huge! We ordered two combination dinners and we probably could have shared one! The combination dinners come with your choice of soup, egg/spring roll and white/fried rice. The hot and sour soup was nice and spicy! The spring roll was also great. By the time I got through the soup and spring roll I was already getting full! I had Kung Pao Chicken as my main dish and made sure to ask for white meat. It was yummy and I had leftovers for days!"
"Today, we had delivery ordered: Combination plates - which included rice and an egg roll or spring roll. 1. Curry Chicken 4/5 - tender chicken, a lot of flavor! A little on the spicy side, but the flavor profile is good for a Chinese restaurant. They had veggies in there, that I could leave out. Ask for only onions and the chicken in the sauce (if anything). 2. Chicken lo mein 3/5 - the chicken again was very tender. They give ALOT for your money. Wasn't overly flavorful - kinda of your basic lo mein add chicken. It wasn't oily - that's a plus as well."
"Well, we're finally getting warmer in finding decent Chinese food. It doesn't even have to be good at this point. I tried the Mapo tofu and detected some spice in it which is better than most places and the vegetables appeared fresh so that was a plus. I also tried the sesame chicken which although I don't expect it to be spicy, it was very treacly sweet but a bit better than other places at least. The vegetable lo mein was good, lots of veggies though a bit over saturated with soy sauce. The lunch specials are really good with a choice of egg roll, soup or salad so you could do worse than a quick lunch here in this part of town."
"Food: 4Service: 4Ambience: 3Date/Time: 7/2/2022 7:30pmCrowd: 3/4 fullThis is a decent place to get sushi made on site for a fair price of $16. And, of course that comes with the hibachi and buffet. The token Chinese dishes (Beef Broccoli, Lo Mein, etc) are available on the buffet and are pretty good. The sushi selection is good and tastes good for what you pay. Desserts include a selection of cakes along with a selection of scoop ice cream. The place itself still looks like it's previous occupant, Golden Corral, except for the lion statues in front. The inside is your typical buffet set up.... booths sitting around the trough! The buffet is off to the side, the sushi and hibachi cooking area in the middle and the salad and desserts on the other side. The servers are quick to pick up after you so you have a cleared table when you return. Not much in friendliness but good at busing tables. Overall I'd recommend it for a decent all you can eat dinner at a reasonable price."
"Update for my last review... This place still rocks!! Don't let the seemingly low volume of patrons worry you. They have a thriving take-out business, and they had a 50-person order go out while I was there despite only 4 couples dining in. The food is AMAZING, FRESH, AND PACKED WITH FLAVOR!"
"Peace China is was just okay! I went here with the staff from my job it was clergy appreciation day and this the place they all selected. I was excited because it was my first time! When I first arrived the first thing that I noticed was the parking! There was plenty of parking available and the parking lot was huge so it wasn't a problem at all. Ps, I didn't even know peace China was in the spot that it is. When we walked in the space wasn't very big but they seemed to be the spot for lunch goers in the area. There wasn't a wait at all. When we got there we ordered and sat down! The food came out shortly afterwards. We all ordered something different. But I had the General Tao's Chicken and then they ordered spring rolls, dumplings and crab Wontons for the table to share. My food was just okay! The spring rolls were okay, the crab wontons weren't that great and I didn't get a chance to try the dumplings although everyone said that they were good! The restaurant isn't very big but it was clean. We were able to put a few tables to accommodate our party! Overall this place was just okay I was a little underwhelmed by the food! But the service was fast and efficient!"
"Been coming here for a very long time. We almost always do take out but it never misses. This food is always the most reliably good and tasty. The lo-míen shouldn't be missed and the chicken on a stick and ribs are delicious. Their sesame chicken with fried rice is also a hit. We have also had curry shrimp which is lighter and packed with flavor. Our favorite local Chinese food that's always good and reliable. :)"
"This is amazing, so much variety, so clean, I can't wait to bring my vegetarian partner here, something for everyone!Check out the videos...salt and pepper shrimp was perfect. Nice service staff... eat here you won't be sorry!"
"Came here for lunch with four others. They have both booths and tables. We had a table in the back room. A server quickly asked for our drinks and they were brought promptly. A spoon and fork as well as chopsticks were provided. There were many different dishes to choose from including hot dishes, cold dishes , fruit, desserts and sushi. There was fresh ginger and wasabi available and soy sauce on the tables. The hot dishes I got were a good temperature. The food was replaced often. Everything I had was ok, just not outstanding. I was surprised at how many seafood dishes there were, which I took advantage of most of them. There were people cleaning tables and sweeping often, so it appeared pretty clean. Hand sanitizer was available. I didn't try everything, but enjoyed most of what I had. One of our group comes here often and says there's more selection at dinner and on the weekends, but the price is more. I would consider returning. Wish I could give it a 3.5 ."
"We were visiting from TX and felt like staying in, so I ordered and picked up takeout...but first I had to narrow it down to here looking at just 4+ star places and reading reviews for several places North of Hwy 64 and West of I-40 as we were driving from my parents and sister's. I arrived 15 min after placing our order fully expecting to wait, but it literally came out as I walked to the counter. Orange chicken was best I've ever had...the chicken fried rice was good, as was the crab rangoon. The egg drop soup was excellent. I like the online ordering system as you can tailor dishes to your liking (extra broccoli, etc.). The host smiled and thanked me as I picked up my order. This will be my go-to place for future take-out. The noodles are next on my list to try. Can't wait!"
"First time trying Hunam. I ordered the shrimp egg foo young and it was delicious. The gravy was spot on which for me is the key piece of this dish. They made nice size pieces of egg foo young and I could only eat half of my lunch. This was accompanied with an egg roll which was just okay. The lunch special also came with fried rice which was okay too but I would have liked this dish to have more veggies etc mixed in. I will return to try another dish. The restaurant seems to have been around for a while and it was very busy for lunch."
"Food was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Nice atmosphere. I've been here 4-5 times and every time it's been wonderful. Also, inexpensive options!"
"What a great little restaurant, we have friends in the Haw River area who love this place and my family was not disappointed. The food was delicious, and the restaurant was willing to customize as needed if someone wanted a plate that was normally mild to be spicy, etc. the staff willingly made it happen. I've not dined in a lot since Covid but I felt very comfortable here. They knew people who came in and new their orders as well as likes and dislikes, It's been a long time since I've been in a small town restaurant who truly knew their clientele. My wife and I got the house mei fun and an order of the chicken friend rice to share and it was delicious. I am partial to an Asian restaurant near my home and I feel Golden China beat them hands down. I will definitely be asking to eat here next time we are in the area."
"Ate lunch here while waiting for the book store a few doors down. They have a lot of lunch specials that come with fried or white rice. Most of them were under 8.00 with tax. I got shrimp with vegetables. The veggies were big pieces of onion and broccoli and smaller pieces of carrots, corn and a few sprouts. It was hard to eat the big pieces, no knives available and a plastic fork will not cut it. The shrimp were very small. The fried rice was ok and the vegetables and shrimp were in a good brown sauce. The only drinks they have are bottled ones. They have some tables so you can eat in but most people were take out. It's serve yourself small napkins and soy sauce. Not the best, not the worst. Service was fast and food came out hot."
"Great place to order Asian cuisine. Very few restaurants near us deliver, so we were excited to see that Hibachi China 88 has a delivery option. We ordered delivery online and it was delivered about an hour later. They listed contact free delivery, however, the driver does hand the order to you rather than leaving it at the door. The driver was friendly and on-time and the order was accurate. We enjoyed each of the items: Garner roll ($14.95), sweet & sour chicken ($7.60), and $5 delivery. I do wish there was more of the Garner roll and that the promo codes worked for delivery orders. We would order from here again!"
"I love to support my mom and pops restaurants and decided to try a different take out option. I ordered sesame chicken and egg drop wonton soup. In my opinion -- good but not great. I felt that my food lacked in flavor. I'm also not a fan of the choice of wonton chips for my soup. I've always been a fan of the fresh fried wonton chips but this place carry the pre-fried ones."
"The spicy garlic dumplings are great. Unfortunately my friend rice was burned and the spicy beef lo menu were just bland. I ordered delivery and it was no contact, which was great, but the food was less than desirable. I would get the dumplings again, but I'd skip the rest."
"I was really impressed with my meal. I ordered Sesame Tofu, and the Tofu was cooked extremely well. It was crispy, and didn't have the typical soft texture of tofu that people avoid. The portions were also large, and I was able to able to substitute the egg roll for a spring roll making my meal vegan. Service was not as fast as other take out restaurants I've been too, but I ate in and could tell it was fresh. Also the pink lemonade was out, which was a bummer."
"Solid choice for Chinese food in Holly Springs. Prices are reasonable, portions are large, and flavors and options are as expected.Ample menu options: typical menu items that you would see at a N.C. based Chinese restaurant plus additional American items. We chose the sweet and sour chicken ($12.29), chicken fried rice ($5.39 for small and $9.79 for large), sesame tofu ($12.99), shrimp lo mein ($5.99 for small), and wonton soup ($4.79 for large). Portions are large. After enjoying some for dinner, I used the rest for packed lunches. I particularly enjoyed the sesame tofu and wonton soup. The sweet and sour chicken was a bit greasy, but not an issue after 5 minutes in the air fryer. Flavors are as expected: nothing too fancy, but exactly what we wanted. The wonton soup had excellent texture and rich flavor. The sesame tofu was seasoned well, as were the fried rice and lo mein dishes. Multiple ordering options: Order online, over the phone, or at the counter (by circling what you want on the menu). I chose to order online (only option is to pay at pick up). I received a confirmation text and then a second text 12 minutes later saying my order was ready for pick up. The order was ready upon arrival and accurate. Condiments and fortune cookies are set out in self-serve boxes. Good customer service: Employees are welcoming, efficient, and helpful. The lady working the counter (and several other positions) was enthusiastic and quick. I arrived to pick up my order and selected the hanging receipt matching my order number.Parking: parking is available on both sides of the lot near the restaurant. At busy times this area gets busy making it difficult to maneuver and park. Lowes foods is close by with a larger parking lot. Therefore, you will find a spot, you just may have to walk a little. Earlier in the day and after work I have easily found a close spot.We recommend this restaurant to others and would choose takeout from here again!"
"I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and crab ran goon. The crab ran goon didn't have much filling so I wasn't a huge fun and the sweet and sour chicken was okay. I could get over the fact that this was all $19!Im still on the lookout for a good Chinese restaurant here.."
"Walking through downtown Durham while waiting to attend an event I was drawn into Sprihg Rolls. This was not due to an aroma or a sign, but by one of the staff members Radley. I was looking at their menu outside when the door suddenly opened, and here is this attractive dude telling me to come in out of the cold. He hands me a menu and asks me a series of questions, and tells me to stay. After checking out the menu, I decided to stay and sit at the bar. We continued our conversation while I sipped some water and ordered broccoli and chicken. The owner, Eddy, appears out of nowhere and chats it up with me. Eddy told me about how they opened during the pandemic and somehow stayed afloat on to go orders. Now, they stay pretty busy and have community events throughout the month. Then, a challenge from the owner to play jenga. As we played, my food came out pipping hot. The broccoli had a slight crunch, and the brown sauce that topped the other vegetables and chicken was light and not sweet or overpowering. I continued to dig in while I lost at jenga. Five stars for this gem on main street. The food was fresh and delicious; and they were super generous with their portions. Also, where can you go, and you end up playing jenga with the owner? I will be back!"
"Placed an order for a large group and tried many different dishes. We tried the shrimp egg foo yong, which was very good and the gravy was just right. We also ordered chicken fried rice and vegetable fried rice. Both dishes were cooked well and were very moist. We also had an order of beef lo mein, and that was cooked very well. I was pleasantly surprised as it was the first time I've tried this location. We got delivery and the delivery time was quick.Overall very satisfied with this meal."
"I have been ordering takeout from Handy Kitchen for years! I went in to update my review and realized I have not written one yet so here it is...You should definitely order from Handy Kitchen. They provide affordable, accurate and satisfying meals. I particularly like their tofu, orange chicken, and lo mein dishes. It is easy to call and place an order and it's ready and accurate upon arrival. They are continuing to run during COVID-19. They do block off the dining area, recommend waiting outside until your order is ready, and wear masks. We have had numerous good experiences here and plan to continue ordering their delicious food!"
