"This location came highly recommended to us from multiple people and we completely understand why! We arrived on a Sunday around 5 o'clock in the evening and there was plenty of space to be seated in. What we love about this location is one it is huge, but secondly, they have so many different options for seating both indoor and outdoor And they even have an area in the very back that has tons of space for younger children that we thoughtwas just incredible. There are also three levels to this location. The first floor has one bar that is strictly cocktails and hard liquor. The bar in the back has over 150 taps of local breweries when you go to the second floor you'll find over 150 taps of international breweries or breweries that are outside of the Carolinas. We love the huge assortment and especially as a cider drinker. There were over 30 different hard ciders alone that I had the opportunity to pick from. The top floor is not always open with the full bar, but you can always take your food and/ or your drink up there and sit. It's a rooftop deck and has stunning views of the area. We also love that this location has an extensive menu for food so you can get food and beer together. Overall, we had exceptional service and definitely will be going back before we leave town"
"Stopped by for some quick beers.I opted for their Hazy on tap. When I visited early August, it was very hot and humid out. There were only some fans on, and no AC was turned out (not sure if it is available). Not too busy for the afternoon. Parking is extremely difficult here. You may need to park a few blocks away. Read signs carefully. Lots of construction as well."
"The food and service were great! There is no longer an indoor space to eat, so you have to either eat outdoors or take your food to go. The only problem with sitting outside is that cars pull up to take out food and they tend to leave their engines on while waiting. It would be great if Kokyu asked them to turn off their engines while waiting. With that being said, we'll be back soon because the tofu bibimbap and the steak fries were so tasty!"

I was out and about hanging with hubby and his brother, one of our stops was Raleigh Beer Garden. We walked around back to check out their outdoor patio. It was a bit hot so we decided to sit inside. We looked over their extensive beer menu and I ordered a flight, my go-to.-Guava Guapo - really good IPA, slight guava flavor, on the tart/tangy side.-Caprese Pizza - Italian Pilsner. Kind of citrusy, light.-Boat Soda - key lime cream ale, my favorite of the bunch. Smooth, refreshing, great summer beer.-Southern Basil - farmhouse ale. My least favorite of the bunch. It was too bitter for my taste.I tried an amber that Hubby ordered, it was smooth, drinkable and very tasty.I would definitely return to Raleigh Beer Garden. The number of beer options was impressive, lots of different styles to choose from.

During a recent conference in Durham, we did a local brewery tour. The stand out brewery for us was Full Steam Brewery. From the outset, we were impressed by the space. Huge, open, and welcoming, there is outdoor seating, covered open air seating, and air conditioned indoor seating. Something for everyone! We also felt welcomed by the LGBTQIA+ flag hanging out front. Thanks for making us feel included! The next best moment was how wonderfully friendly and helpful the bartender was. As a first timer, I had lots of questions and she helped with kindness and positivity. I always appreciate that!My husband and I both got beer flights and the beers were AMAZING! My husband got a flight of IPA's and absolutely loved them! Between the two of our flights I really enjoyed the Westea IPA, the Oops...We HS17701Ed Again, Brumley Forest, Todor Vapor, and Southern Basil. However my favorite was the classic Biscuit Wheat Beer made with local NC ingredients. It was so flavorful and delicious. Yum! We also shared the Queer Beer on tap from Mill Whistle Brewing and thought it was delightfully yummy and Pride festive! We also tried the food and LOVED it. My husband got the Piedmont Chicken sandwich and liked how uniquely flavorful it was. I got the blackened catfish sandwich and found it wonderfully delightful! Bursting with flavor, but not too spicy. And the bread was a perfect baguette. Both sandwiches came with southern seasoned fries and they were literally like drugs they were so deliciously addictive. I could've eaten a whole other basket, even after being full!Prices were excellent, the space was clean, and hours were ideal. If we are ever back in the area, Full Steam will be stop #1 on our list. We tried 7 other breweries and it was definitively our favorite. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by for great beer, delectable food, and a lovely time!

This may be my new favorite spot!! First time I ordered one of their bowls... I believe it was the short rib kalbi which was delicious. My second visit I tried out the Apple Milkshake and Sorghum Chili Chicken Banh Mi with a side of sweet potato salad and kimchi daikon. Another hit! There are so many interesting dishes on the menu and I can't wait to go back.Just as an FYI, no indoor seating, but you can go inside to grab some water or go to the restroom!

Nothing fancy here.It is not my type of brewery where everything is IPA. Would be great if they can offer some Sour options

"CRB is located in a hidden nook off of Gresham lake Rd. We come to Compass Rose frequently. There is a viewing area to see the brewing process, food trucks, yard games, and large tables for big groups. More of an industrial vibe for sure. This time around CRB featured amber to dark beer. They generally always have a cider on tap as well as a Hefeweizen. Each selection is a full tasting beer. For the non drinker they do have canned sodas and snacky foods. Even wine. I'd love to see CRB find their niche but overall we enjoy our time spent here. Game night is nice Bc they have a projector screen. Go Pack! Likes- clean Large space Projector screen Would be acceptable to bring children Scott's View (Scottish Amber) is a great tasting beer. Cons- no niche beer necessarily. Lack of distribution and advertisement. No food truck schedule. Chairs are appealing to the eye but not comfortable at all."
