"Great place to watch the game and to play some games yourself! They have a whole second floor with lots of bar games like darts, pool, etc. We haven't tried the food yet, so we will be back to try the food. Just trying out all the local bars as we are new to the area."
"The menu was very large for a bar pub. I walked in and was immediately drawn to the lack of sports on one TV. They had Fox "News" on. I really wanted to walk out but figured I would sit where ai couldn't see it. I had checked out the menu and was looking forward to supporting a local restaurant for lunch as I often try to. I can not for the life of me know why people watch propaganda and for a restaurant to be contributing to lack of truth is beyond me. I'd like to go to a restaurant and not have bad politics hitting me in the face. With that said, my hamburger was not good. It was so wet the bun was all soggy. The sweet potato fries were awesome. My husband had Chili with grilled cheese. He wasn't fond of either. There was too much corn in the Chili and Grilled Cheese was just average.I told management about my uncomfortablenesses with the TV. I did expect it to be changed. When we left, it was still on. This shows me that they are not responsive to customers and the reason for 2 stars. I would have given them 3 or 4 if not for the TV. I also would have sent back my burger or at least told them about it. I didn't bother figuring they didn't care anyway."

The salmon's flavor is enhanced without being overpowered by the skillfully balanced seasoning. This is one of the best salmon dishes I've had in a long time because every bite is a delightful explosion of flavors. When you visit Brick and Mortar Grill, make sure to take advantage of this wonderful culinary experience.I highly recommend!!"
"This is a tiny, inexpensive, walkup, takeout only place, that serves breakfast sandwiches and biscuits, and lunch burgers, dogs, and other sandwiches. Their regular cheeseburger is $1.95, and the hot dog is $.95. A sausage biscuit is $1,20, small order of fries $.80.The burgers are nice, and you can get bigger sizes, doubles, etc just like most places. The hot dog here is not a favorite, I simply do not like the chili - thin, on the sweet side - I much prefer the dog at Scoops up the street, on the other side of Wicker. Not a bad place for a quick, inexpensive burger or sandwich."
"Excellent flavor, increíble cornbread. Fair price worth every penny. Super satisfied & lamb-chops were so tender."
"A must try if you're in the area!! One of my all-time favorites. Great bar food and drinks at amazing prices. The inside is quite small, so it can get busy and packed quickly especially after 5. There are plenty of parking options, but the adjacent lot is small then there's a dirt lot right across from the restaurant as well. The size of the restaurant is my only complaint. I live right across the street so I just do to-go, but have gone during the week for lunch a few times when it wasn't too busy. They have a full bar with a lot of beer and liquor options as well as a few wine options. The servers are all friendly and helpful. Definitely a small-town family feel when you go. Now to the important part...the food. AMAZING. Everything is good here and there's an assortment of options. I've had so many different things on the menu and I have always been pleased. The prices are also great for the quality and quantity you get. Some of my favorite dishes include: Mango Jalapeno Wings PizzaSubsStuffed Mushroom (stuffed with crab and shrimp) Mussels Homemade chips Shrimp in Garlic Salmon BLT WrapStromboliAlso, they have great specials every weekend that start on Thursday evenings and go Friday and Saturday evening. So far, I haven't seen them repeat any of their specials so if you see one you'd like to try you'd better just jump in and try it. They post their specials on their Facebook page as well as any updates so make sure to Like and Follow them there!"
"The best restaurant attached to a gas station!! I've been. Going to this location for years!! Super delicious burgers and hotdogs. Be hungry if you get the big dog!!! IT's ginormous! The truffle fries are so good- get them to go and I dare you to wait to try one until you get home. It's not gonna happen. They have some seating inside and picnic tables outside- dog friendly area! The staff is super nice, the owners are funny if you get a Chance to meet the family."
"Visiting from Indy, this place was right by our hotel. Staff was friendly and courteous. Food was out pretty quickly. We tried the burger, chicken, fries and sweet potato fries and a shake! Both fries were amazing!!! The burger was delish!! The shake could've used a tad more flavor (I tried the blueberry one) but was still yummy. Sadly my fried chicken patty was awful. Tough and chewy and not fresh at all. But given the rest of our food was great, they still win in my book!"
"First time here as we wanted a short order burger joint. The menu is simple which is kind of refreshing. But they have enough to get you want you want and to satisfy your burger craving. We ordered a Classic and a Spicy burger. The classic was just that a charbroiled burger with your normal toppings/fixings. The Spicy on the other hand was a pleasant surprise. They add these crispy spicy chip style topping which is such an awesome touch. I must admit they make something called Spicy that is actually spicy... THANK YOU!!! The ambiance is modern, clean and has a modern vibe. The sell alcohol and some other drinks too. Cool place, I'd come back in the future."
"Good selection of options. We would go back but it's fast food so it has those fast food issues. The fries are probably the worst. I always ask for it to be crispy, multiple times, they'll say okay, multiple times, and it comes out raw and soggy. Every time! Never fails. I realize they want to be quick but no one is this planet likes soggy or cold friends. Their burgers are good though."
"Good food, great music, solid bar atmosphere. Highly recommend the Dagwood Sandwich, absolutely killer. Wings were also excellent and fries were hot and crispy. Service was fast and friendly. Not exactly the place to bring your kids on a Friday night, but if you enjoy a cold one and good bar food you'll be well taken care of here."
"Located within walking distance of UNC Chapel Hill, it's an old time drug store with a diner type restaurant. Cheap and cheerful. Service was fast and food was good. What more could you want? We got breakfast and can customize to your liking. My veggie omelette was very tasty and filling."

This used to be the Music Loft for years. I was happy to see the building being used again and finally made it by. The place is huge and really cleaned up nice!! We were in the mood to play pool and have some lunch so this fit the bill.We got there around noon or so on a Saturday and there was just a few peeps in the place. That was fine, we weren't looking for a crowd, just a few games of pool and some eats.We were greeted by a pleasant waitress, asked how much the pool is ($1.00 a game for the small tables and $10.00 an hour for the large ones) and headed over to check them out. We'd been to another place in the neighborhood the night before that we frequent somewhat regularly that only has one table that's a bit worn. We were thrilled to see all the tables here in great shape! The menu is pretty extensive and they have some regular lunch specials of several varieties of sliders. We got the cheeseburger sliders and the pulled chicken sliders. Both were quite good and came with a nice portion of fries. We also started with some homemade chips that were light, crispy and super thin - very good!!Like I said the pool tables looked to be in great shape - and they were! The bumpers had a lot of action compared to ones we'd played on the night before elsewhere that in comparison were about DOA!We were there over two hours and some more people filtered in, but not a lot. We wondered why cos it's really a nice place!! Very clean, in fact, amazingly clean!! We'll definitely be back and hope that this place will be around for quite some time!

We went on a Tuesday for trivia and it was decently busy. Service was very slow but we were enjoying our beer and playing trivia so it didn't bother me too much - but would've been different on a regular night. Portions were good and prices are fair. Lots of options on the menu and great beer on tap. Would try again but not dying to go back!

Excellent service, freshly brewed unsweetened iced tea, Pepsi products, and specialty coffees. Beer, wine. The best Philly cheese steak, hands down. Fries are ok, the battered kind, evidently they 'hold' better. At least they were hot and fresh.I enjoyed the black and blue salad with grilled ribeye as the steak. It was cooked perfectly, and their vinaigrette is addicting. Excellent mix of herbs, spices, and vinegar and oil.We tried two of their soups, shrimp corn bisque, and roasted red pepper with gouda. Oh, my. The roasted red pepper won that category. It was amazing! Thick, savory, hit the spot on this cold afternoon. The shrimp corn bisque was a bit watery, had no traceable shrimp pieces, and had no seafood flavor at all. Mostly corn, bits of potato, red pepper. We skipped desserts, but today's offerings included strawberry shortcake, carrot cake, and caramel apple cheesecake. It's been too long since we've eaten here. Will try not to be away too long before our next visit.

I've lived in Sanford for 7 years but have never made it to Big T's. I was in the area one day and was early for an appointment so I decided to get an egg, cheese and bacon biscuit for breakfast. I thought my sandwich was good, but nothing special. The biscuit could have been salted a little bit more and the biscuit to filling ratio was a little off. The service was very efficient and fast and the prices can't be beat!

First time here and I already want to come back!!The food was so damn yummy!! I knew the second I got there and the line was to the door that the food would be worth the wait and it was. The employees were super friendly and attentive they checked every single order before giving us our food.

I love this place! I've never had a bad meal here and the waitstaff are awesome! The blackened chicken wrap with a scoop of their homemade potato salad is beyond reproach. Just amazing! And they have my favorite beer "Hell Yes Ma'am'" on tap?! I'm happy.

Neighbor and I were doing some shopping at the Home Depot on Brassfield, and were hungry after heaving several bags of soil and lawn treatments. He suggested a burger place, and BBS came up as close by.For being attached to a gas station, we were surprised at the large menu. I love the great variety; somewhat reminiscent of Islands Restaurants in the L.A. area. I opted for a Sourdough Bacon Burger, Garlic Parmesan Fries, and a chocolate shake. Burger was cooked to a perfect medium, with plenty of toppings and seasoning. No additional sauce or seasonings needed. Fries also were very tasty (though I wouldn't mind more garlic). Shake was also very good, definitely better than Cookout, and almost as good as Culver's. I sampled Clint's onion rings, which were also well-seasoned and cooked properly. The attached dog-friendly picnic area with puppy murals was cool, too, though the tables could use some fresh paint. Definitely bringing the girlfriend when she's back from visiting family out of state.

Rolled in here to pick up some food for a friend. This location is on a busy road but I managed to get in and order. The person taking the order was helpful and the process was efficient. I didn't wait too long and my friend liked his burger.
Visit Restaurant Page"Bottom line: Sophie's Grill and Bar served a very good meal in the Potato & Cheese Pierogi and Chicken Schnitzel menu selections I had on my visit. Nice atmosphere and good service. I am a fan!The Deets:Venturing out on a rainy Sunday, I tried Sophie's Grill and Bar off Hwy 55 in Cary. They do take reservations off Open Table but it was not needed on this day. They have a very open space, nicely done with a hint of European flavor. There is a spacious bar front and center as well with plenty of TVs to follow sports action/programs. I was seated upon entering and given the menu. Again, the menu gives an Eastern European impression with some American favorites as well. I chose to start with Potato & Cheese Pierogi with menu description "traditional eastern European fried dumplings, stuffed with cheese, boiled potatoes, butter and seasoning, served with caramelized onions." I liked these a lot, a definite crisp along the edges and tasty ingredients inside. They do appear a bit greasy/oily when they come out but taste very good. For my main choice, I went with their Chicken Schnitzel, menu described as "pickled marinated & panko crusted. Served with mushroom Marsala sauce and mashed potatoes." Again, I liked this one, the flavors were great together and the mushroom sauce made a nice addition. Service was good during my visit and I was checked on several times during my meal. I think I will be adding Sophie's Grill and Bar to my rotation, a nice surprise, I enjoyed my meal there. I'd say more along 4.5 stars here."
"We were at the Smithfield Outlets to shop and decided on lunch first. I really wanted to get away from all the chain fast food places surrounding it so where else to look but Yelp to find out where the locals eat!I'd noticed Zack's while at the Chicken Barn across the street on previous trips, and this time a char-grilled burger was what my taste buds wanted. The parking is in the rear and you can enter through the backdoor. There's also a little ice cream place attached to the back end of the building so save room for dessert! It's definitely a place the locals frequent and the people behind the counter seemed to know every one of them. It didn't mater that we were newcomers, we felt as welcome as could be too.We had burgers and my, my, were they ever good!! They look like they're hand formed as the patties are irregular. They were already piled up on the grill as they clearly anticipated a crowd, so our order came up faster than we could get to a table (you order at the counter).I was a little skeptical, but it was a great burger - and cheap!! The fries are crinkle cut and were good too. As we ate the line at the counter got longer and longer as people kept piling in through the back door. It's no wonder why!Don't know if the people working behind the counter are the owners, but they're so friendly and he likes to burst into song frequently. What one, we weren't sure of, but it was entertaining. My only negative is that I don't live close to Smithfield, otherwise I'd be a regular customer! I look forward to returning and hopefully soon!"
"The hot dogs are amazing Hey make your order when you place it. Staff is super friendly. I like the atmosphere of this place it's epic eclectic and pretty rad. Been here before and I'll come back and eat here again next time Im in chapel hill for work at UNC."
"I came here around 3:10pm on a Monday afternoon to get lunch with a friend. It wasn't very busy as there were about 3 parties eating and one party reviewing the menu. The aroma when I first walked in was amazing. After reviewing the menu, our order was placed at 3:17pm. I got the jam-tastic burger with fries. My friend build his own burger. The food came at 3:23pm. My burger was delicious, as expected. I got this the previous time I was here. My friend enjoyed his burger as well. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The cashiers also walk around and clean the tables and check on the customers, which is awesome. No complaints at all. Mondays are their burger special day, so that's the day to go!!"
"Sutton's is where it's at! My burger was cooked perfectly and the french fries were amazing. The sweet tea is spectacular and served in a UNC cup that you can take home. Service was outstanding. One young lady working the dining room and register by herself and she was killing it! I highly recommend this establishment."
"The best breakfast around. Great link sausage on a hot dog bun for their version of a breakfast sausage dog. They will even add scrambled eggs with cheese if you request. Their hamburgers and hot dogs are really good as well. Great service. Great value. We love this place."
"First time having lunch here and these are my thoughts :* Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich ..was tasty ..been looking for a decent grilled chicken sandwich and finally think I found one. Side of fries were good as well. The thing that stood out was the service ...My server, Dennis , was friendly, also there was a brunette female server that was customer service personified. She was helping everyone and with grace and patience. It's good to see there is still humanity in the food service business.I work down the street and will definitely be back."
"Love this place!!! A huge selection of sodas. Great burgers and dipping sauces and yummy shakes! Definitely will be back. A nice addition to Sanford area!"
"As a new resident of Raleigh, I wanted to try this spot for lunch. It isn't far from where I'll be working and I was quite surprised how crowded it was on a weekday. So I figured it was worth a try.The cashier was very friendly and helped me figure out my order. I went with the turkey sandwich with the Vidalia onion dressing and pasta salad for my side. The food took maybe 10 minutes to prepare, which wasn't bad considering there was hardly a table to be found. Pretty good sandwich, nice quality ingredients, but certainly not the biggest I've ever had. The pasta salad was vegetarian, it had a tangy vinaigrette, it was solid. It was fine, but not what I would call special."
"Let me tell you about this little piece of burger heaven. I love this burger shop. The burgers are always cooked beautifully and those French fries are ON POINT!The burgers are BYO so you choose whatever you want on top. Weather you want plain and simple or fully loaded, it is completely your choice. The buns are toasted beautifully and sprinkled with seasoning. Then there are the fries. Cooked wonderfully. Crispy and crunchy and whatever seasoning they put on them makes them absolutely addicting. I've never been to this place and been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and double check your order to ensure you didn't forget anything when filling out your ticket. Wonderful burger place that I'll always want to visit when I'm in town!"
"I'd not been to a Char Grill before so after my shopping trip to Harris Teeter it seemed like a good day to stop. I went to the drive thru which looking back might not have been the best idea as I wasn't familiar with the menu but thankfully the menu was small and I could order quickly. I went with the double and made a combo. I customized it to have tomatoes and lettuce with the cheese. They were generous with the toppings but the tomato slices weren't ripe so that is my only disappointment here. The burger was delicious and the fries were some of the best I ever had. Somehow those fries stayed hot the whole drive home too. The prices are more expensive than other places but when you are looking for something a little better than typical fast food this is your place. The service was very friendly and my order was prepared as ordered. The sanitation score was high too so that is important to me."
"I have only ordered delivery from this restaurant, so I have no idea where it even is. More accurately, I have asked my Husband here and there to figure out dinner, and this is where it has come from. We liked the mozzarella sticks a lot, the burgers are nice and fresh and made with care. I am not sure if the fries are suffering from the delivery drive but they have been a bit soggy. Husband has gotten a cheesesteak that he wasn't a huge fan of, but I tend to think he is pickier than I."
"TLDR: Phenomenal customer service plus great food at a reasonable price.Note: they are located on Timer drive not on the Wake Tech campus. Their past location still shows up on Google maps even though they have requested its removal. We have ordered food here a few times. I am always impressed by the flavors, portions, and prices. Plus it is easy to call in an order or place one online. I like the comment/notes section when ordering online. The employees here read all the notes and answer any questions you may have. Most recently we ordered a 12 inch cheesesteak ($7.69), chicken Caesar salad ($7.49), baklava ($2), and gyro pita ($6.49). Our food is always ready on time and accurate. The cashier (owner?) is awesome. He is so kind and helpful. He seems to form a personal connection with each customer, making for special and unique experiences. In addition to the excellent customer service, you get a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. We highly recommend ordering from here!"
"I had no idea this burger joint was in Smithfield. We got done walking at the Smithfield park and decided to get some food. I got the truffle shuffle burger. It has Caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, truffle aioli. I had a side of the aioli, it was a bit sweet for my taste. I got the sweet potato waffle fries with it. My kids loved them. Too much sugar and cinnamon for my taste. I also had a side of onion rings. The onion rings tasted freshly made -best ones I've had in a while! Fries were good reminded me of Wendy's fries. My husband got their salad with the burger patty as his meat option. The salad looked amazing I wish I took a picture of it. His meat came on the side and the dressing came in packets. The service was good and the food came out fast. The ambiance of the place reminded me of an old Taco Bell. I did not care for it. I did like how they had tables outside. I would definitely recommend this place to others now that I know it exists!"
"We heard of this place from a recent Yelp event. We brought our dog and sat outside on the patio. The staff was so kind and even turned on the space heater for us.The food was delicious! The burger was perfectly cooked and juicy. My favorite was the fries. It was battered to perfection and flavored just right. The onion rings were just as crispy and well cooked. I loved that you could get free refills with the lemonade and I tried both the blackberry and mango. I think blackberry hit the spot. Definitely a must try spot"
"I'm a Shake Shack fan and this was my first visit to the Village District location. I went on a weeknight and it wasn't very busy. I placed my order online ahead of time and while it was a few minutes late, it was hot and correct. My family and I ended up eating outside on one of their sidewalk tables. They had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating while we were there. My son loved the bacon and avocado cheeseburger, while I always opt for the traditional Shack burger. Sometimes simple is just the best! I like their fries, I don't love them. I also do thoroughly enjoy their shakes and love how they have different special flavors every month. Overall a solid spot to grab a burger and order online if you are hoping to cut down on some of the wait!"
"Johnson's Drive In reopened the dining portion in August I was told. So that is where I dined on my most recent stop. I was surprised how busy it was at 10:30am and all the to go orders they were getting.I was warmly greeted when I arrived and told I could sit anywhere I wanted. I sat at the bar as I didn't want to take up a booth. Then I could watch the action. I could tell that regulars frequent the burger shop as they knew most people by name and what they ordered. The owner passed away a few weeks ago. I could sense something happened from some of the conversations with the regulars. He left a legacy that his parents started with the simple menu and the quality beef. My cheeseburger was served hot with the toppings I ordered and that melted cheese. The fries were also piping hot like I enjoy them and more like steak fries. I will need another excuse to head back this way for another burger."
"New in town and finally found this healthy food place. I ordered my own creation packed with protein and it was delicious. Kale and Quinoa, corn and black beans, chicken, chickpeas and cucumbers with green goddess. The medium bowls made two great meals. Oh, and the chic working was nice."
"Came for dinner with my grandson and family. Our server was sweet and attentive. They have a new salad bar which looks pretty decent. The facilities are very clean. Our food came out in a timely manner. Food was fresh and flavorful. Large portions reasonably priced. Overall great experience."
"We are still new to the Wake Forest and despite being a foodie I don't alwayssssss go into a place and know the exact menu and atmosphere, that's how it was when coming into OTF. My husband and I stopped in for lunch were dressed in athletic clothes which wasn't a big deal but I definitely noticed that the majority of people there were dressed in "real clothes" it is a very dark restaurant with white table clothes which gives it that "nicer" feel for sure. It's not a huge restaurant but I am not a fan of two top tables that are directly next to someone else to where you feel like you know all about the other person by the time you are done which is where we were sat. The Beef on Weck was delicious, I highly recommend. I can't wait to try additional menu items but for me personally inside it's more of a dinner atmosphere."
"I was super excited to eat at Burger Fi. But the Burger was so-so. Nothing to write home to momma about! The worst part was, I decided to get a soda for the first time in a long time and both soda machines were out of everything but ginger ale and Dr Pepper. The staff didn't seem to care so I got iced tea. I guess it's safe to say I won't be going back there"
"I got a grub hub gift card, and so my son has been dying for wings so we ordered from here. I have not been inside so so can only comment on the order received. My son loved them - I found the price a little high - but I also know grubhub tends to up the price in addition to tipping etc, so I won't complain to much on the pricing. I did like hie easy it was to order online though for all the flavors a description would have been nice. Would I order again, definitely I am hoping once Covid calms down we can find a good wing place my whole family enjoys. But I'm the interim I would define you order and do takeout from here."
