Beautiful place to relax and be with friends. The staff is very hospitable. There is food for all to enjoy. As a vegan, there are many options for all courses. I try something new each time but could live off the appetizers. The drink menu is intriguing. I love the masala chai-tini.

Back again! Can't get enough of this food and family like environment. They are consistently good. Great service. This is the only Indian cuisine in RDU I'll ever go to!

My spouse and I came here for dinner on the Friday after Valentine's Day. I made reservations in advance but as our plans changed I was able to easily change them online for an earlier time. We walked in at 6:15 and it was quite empty. We sat in a booth and were greeted by a lovely young server who identified themselves as the owner's son. We started with the gobi manchurian which was very good. It's quite crispy, and a bit lighter on the sauce. I really enjoyed it, I'd give it a 5/5. We then ordered the butter chicken and la jewab chicken as well as the bread basket with the paneer kulcha subbed for the aloo kulcha. I thought both dishes were quite good, and different from each other which was nice. From the bread basket my fav was the garlic naan and I'd likely just order that next time. We finished with the dessert sampler. They gave us the wrong ice cream initially (pistachio) and they quickly corrected by bringing us out a serving of the ice cream we had originally ordered, which was nice!At the end , our waiter brought us out complementary shooters with their gulab jamun, cream, and dragon fruit boba which was honestly the best of the desserts we sampled! We also tried their chai tini, dirty martini, and their version of dessert chocolate martini. The chai tini is very lemon and honey forward, which I wasn't necessarily expecting. The dirty martini was not our vibe. The chocolate martini was good. Service was excellent, almost too excellent as there were several different staff checking in on us and refilling our water frequently. Everyone was very very attentive!Overall, we will be sure to return, as this place does not appear to be too crowded on a weekend, but the food and service is very good!Overall, we will de

Some of the best Indian food in the triangle! My table tried a few different dishes: Paneer Makhani, Eggplant Bartha and the Dal Makhni Plus the garlic naan and chili naan For dessert we got the Limmencello marscapone cakeEverything was amazing! The waiters and servers are so nice, the inside of the restaurant was extremely clean and tidy and so were the bathrooms. I will definitely be returning to eat here again and if you're looking for a good place to celebrate a birthday or a special occasion you should definitely check this restaurant out!

The customer service is extremely good here. The wait staff was very attentive and the food came fast. The wine and beer was good. Butter chicken is my favorite Indian dish and we both ordered that today but this was sub-par for flavor. It was bland. We ordered a medium spice and it really wasn't spicy or flavorful at all. I was very disappointed in the flavor compared to any other butter chicken I've ever had. The sauce was too runny and not really as dark colored as I'm used to. The garlic Naan didn't have much garlic, it was more like plain Naan. We got 2 butter chicken, garlic naan and poppadom, one glass of wine and a beer and it was almost $80. We stopped by on our way home from the airport so I doubt we go back this way to ever eat here again. We give it a 3 star because the service was fantastic.

We were at the Art of the Brick exhibit and it was dinnertime, so off we went to try Bazil. The restaurant is in the complex behind Chipotle near Walmart, and there is plenty of parking. They greeted us as we walked in but said there would be a 35 min wait. We said we were in no rush and would just grab some drinks at the bar. In that case, they said they would seat us and get us drinks but to be patient for ordering food for a bit. This communication was key because as long as expectations are set upfront, people are usually understanding of situations.Moving on, the ambiance is modern and easy on the eyes, definitely a huge makeover from the Neo-Asia restaurant that previously operated in this location. We indulged in some drinks as we waited, and they came by with some complimentary apps apologizing for our wait **nice touch**. The Bazil Special Chaat was wonderful in flavor and plating. Eventually we ordered our apps - Tawa Chicken and Hariyali Kabobs. The Tawa Chicken came out sizzling and colorful, and the kids devoured those Hariyali Kabobs before I could even try one! Our entrees included the Dhaba Style Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Bazil La-Jawab Chicken. The La-Jawab came highly recommended by the staff, and it was phenomenal! We also went for the Biryani, and undoubtedly over ordered...which is a problem...said no-one-ever! The food was delicious, and I will surely be enjoying the leftovers. For dessert we had the Paan Kulfi, and you absolutely must try this when you go!Bazil has now skyrocketed to the top 3 on my list of favorite Indian Restaurants in Raleigh. If you haven't already, go treat yourself, you deserve it

I went here for the salsa lessons as well as the salsa dancing. The bonus was the Indian food that I love so much. They give a good proportion of rice and I order the chicken tikki masala and my favorite drink mango lassi (on which I order two) . The food is really good. If you like mango lassi like I did they even have one spike with liquor with coconut shavings on the glass rim. In my experience with Indian food restaurants that is one drink other Indian restaurants are scare to mix liquor with since mango lassi has yogurt in and so far this establishment and Nazara restaurant are only bold ones to mix liquor in it. I would highly recommend this place for the good food and when they have salsa nights to dance the food away. They offer free salsa lesson if you like once a week. If you don't like to dance just go for the delicious food and you won't be disappointed.

Parking is easy for dining here and we went for Restaurant week. They have a nice collection of beers and a decent overview to food allergies. The Alu tikki chaat was delicious, a total 5/5. We also ordered off the menu with the chicken tikka which was completely out of the park 5/5. The fish entree on the restaurant week menu was not a true Indian and the flavor was deeply underwhelming. On the other end the Kofta with spinach had balanced flavors but lacked texture wins. We ordered paneer entree off the menu and were never warned about the sauce base being the exact same as the koftas. Delicious but sadly was repetitive with nothing unique to shine them off each other. The only reason for 4 star review was the quality of dessert. The rose Cham Cham was tough, possibly made a a few days before serving (we went on the last day of restaurant week) but it was truly abysmal. I would've loved those flavors but execution wasn't great. I'd day this restaurant is reliable if we skipped dessert.

I had heard about the new Indian restaurant Bazil and finally decided to try it out. It was three of us so we ordered a bunch of stuff and shared. Lamb Seekh Kabab: this was probably one of the best lamb seekh kababs I've had in the area. The lamb was juicy and was seasoned perfectly. Definitely recommend it. Soya Chaap: I was skeptical about this one but it was actually very good. The combination of the veggies and the sweet and sour sauce was really good. Dal Makhani: You can never go wrong with Dal Makhani. They made it well with the right about to spices and cream. Shrimp Tikka Masala: You can get this with any protein you like. We chose to get shrimp just to switch things up a little. The shrimp was cooked well and the gravy was thick and creamy. Dhaba Style Chicken: This was on the chef's special menu. This is probably the best dish out of all. The chicken was fall of the bone tender and the variety of spices used in this dish made it the star of the night. Definitely recommend getting!Pistachio and Paan Kulfi: These was pretty standard and can be skipped.

Good food, great service, decent atmosphere - a solid option! Ample parking space was a plus. Our party all ordered pretty standard curries/sabzis with a couple appetizers. Maybe I have high standards but nothing we ordered really blew me away. The karari soya chaap was mushy and not crisp (which karari means), and the naan I ordered was borderline-burnt. When I am not on a meat hiatus I may come back to try some of the more-interesting seafood and meat entrees on the menu.
