We loved the food. It seemed to be a one-man operation so it took some time and was only takeout, but it was well worth it. Highly recommended.

It was ok....Take it or leave it really. Rice was mushy, portions smaller but so is everyone, taste was standard. Kid up front was cool! Was looking for something cheaper after shopping all morning

Can't say enough how impressed I am with this place. When it comes to this pandemic they probably take it more seriously than many people. They redesigned the way they interacted with their guests and truly protected themselves as well as their guests. The food is always great and the staff are truly awesome.

I will never forget my first time stepping into Rainbow King and seeing a small child take my order. Here it is 4 years later and the same child continues to take my order. Don't let her age fool you, she knows what she's doing. I've lived in Wake Forest for almost 4 years and this is my go-to Chinese Food place! Luckily, I just happen to live less than a mile away from it. I always get chicken and broccoli, steamed dumplings and chicken on a stick. It is the best! I've tried others in the area and they pale in comparison. In the 4 years that I've been going ( 1 to 2 times per month on average) they have made 1 mistake and more than made up for it! They have a pretty decent sanitation grade (currently 97) although it has been higher in the past. Regardless, I will continue to go here probably until the little girl working is an adult running the whole show!

Finally found a Chinese restaurant in the area that has consistent good food! Had the general tso chicken and had the right amount of spice. Lunch special is worth it.

Decided to order Takeout for a Friday night with some big Rainbow King fans. Placed the order and we were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Due to and inordinate amount of 540 traffic I arrived for pickup way beyond the 20 minute mark.It is located off of Capital Blvd prior to Stadium Dr. next to Lowes foods. It is a very small establishment, maybe seating 8, but always full of hungry patrons awaiting takeout. I spoke to the de facto Manager in training, Maggie, a 11 year old Superstar who seamlessly answers the phone, takes orders, and runs the register with aplomb. A future CEO. She told me our order was almost ready...20-30 minutes later I received our order: Chicken with Broccoli, Chicken on a stick, Hot and Sweet Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Egg roll. Chef hand delivered it to me and thanked me for waiting. She informed me it was all GRATIS, and she threw in an additional Egg roll! I offered to pay and she insisted with her magnanimity. I felt like a Chinese Takeout Lottery winner. Maybe it was because of the impending lucky 8/18/18 or just great service.Finally delivered and consumed our haul. Well worth the wait. This is our go to for local Chinese take out. Usually very good and quick. Not a great place to eat in.

The food is usually hot and fresh and quick. It is honestly a typical "Chinese food" place, nothing outrageously good or bad. If you're looking for gourmet food, it's not here but if you're looking for decent food and large portions for a decent price, it's a good bet

I think this is the best Chinese takeout in the wake forest area. Their rice is much better than others nearby. Their egg rolls are also really good. Good service run by a friendly family

Ordered here for the first time based on the rating over the other local places. Hot and sour soup, fried dumpling and sweet and sour chicken. Both my wife and I both agree no flavor at all on any of the dishes. Very bland so disappointed.
