R Tea Zone

We came to try the bun bo hue specifically because some friends recommended it. It's in the same strip mall as Viva, which is currently being repaired after having a fire.We got a small size for my wife and a regular size for me. I didn't know that the regular size was another places large size. I managed to eat almost all of it.The flavor is good with a good quantity of meat and pork knuckles. The veggies were fresh but needed a little more banana flower.My wife thought the soup could be hotter. It was probably around 165° f. She likes to make her own around 200° f when serving, so the veggies cook when added. All in all, the bun bo hue is tasty and well worth the price.

The tea here is just OK We sure have better boba tea in town.Price range is a bit high compares to other place.

*NEW UPDATE* My 1 star is now a 3 star after the owner ended up calling me back to refund my chicken banh mi. But I'm leaving my review in the case it helps someone else in the future. I'm very thankful that Mike called me, but the experience before was terrible. ---------You want to experience a business blocking your number for a mistake they made? This is the place. I specifically ordered 1 chicken banh mi and 1 pork banh mi. The chicken one is for a family member who can ONLY have chicken.Drove back home 40 minutes and found 2 pork banh mi. Only went to this place because I was getting my nails done nearby. I then called and told the resturant and they proceeded to tell me to drive back out to them to return the banh mi and hang up on me. They blocked my number. I was the only one in the resturant and I made it adament to the front desk PLEASE have chicken. I would absolutely give them 0 stars if I could.

I came here on my way to another place in the area and saw they had sugarcane juice. It's typically hard to find sugarcane on the NW side of town, or any other side for that matter. Good sugarcane with no added ingredients other than ice. They were doing renovations at the time and building a bench in the main sitting area.It took a few minutes for the order, but when they brought it to the counter, it was a large glass with limited ice. Nearly $7, but again, there isnt a lot of competition in the area.

I guess this place is getting cut in half or losing real estate or something. I understand this establishment is going under construction and is going to be named Pho Bi under the owner. Came in here for some soup and boba.My son had the Pho and I had that Bun Bo Hue. I guess he was hungry because there was not a drop left in the bowl but let me tell you something about my soup, these people do not play! That thing was on fire! Spiciness level was above more than what you would get any place around Houston very flavorful and the way that I like it. The Vietnamese iced coffee was just as good as any other..I guess it was the owner that walked by smiled and waved hello as she walked from the outside to the kitchen which gave a good vibe however the cashier I guess you could call her that really gave me a negative vibe one of those like teenagers that would rather be 100 other places than here trying to help her boss at work? Anyways besides that interior had nice furniture as you can see there are two chairs painted silver outlined something that would make you feel like a king or queen if you sat in it. They were a little bit stingy with the air conditioning but at least it was a hot. Definitely would come here again because of the Bun Bo Hue.

I really love pho here, the owner cooks a very traditional flavor, fragrant, delicious, and hot until you finish your bowl of pho. It's been a long time since I've had Vietnamese pho. The owner here is very wonderful and friendly. Thank him for giving my family such a delicious meal. I will come back every weekend.

We order at R Tea Zone at least once and sometimes twice a week. By far the best boba spot on the north side. They use real fruits for their smoothies. We usually order 25% or 50% sugar and the sweet level is perfect. We've been served by different personnels and they're all very friendly and efficient.

We find this place by accident. We we're changing our tires when we saw this place. The food is really good and we loved the Boba

False advertisement of hours- supposed to be open until 9pm, it is closed at 8pm. I cannot attest for the quality of their drinks, as they decided to close at hours not advertised to the public. All social media and online sources confirm their hours at 9pm, this is unprofessional and a waste of gas money.

I got Redbean Matcha Latte and it's pretty good. I love their Shave Ice Strawberry with Ice Taro Bear. They're delicious! Just right not too sweet. I will definitely come back here again.
