I'm a fan! Quick service. I have a few go-to items, like mapo tofu, bok choy with mushrooms, tofu hot pot, mushroom hot pot. They also have a specials board with vegetarian options that are unique. Recently I tried a cooked lettuce special that was surprisingly delicious.

Ping Pong used to be our spot, which means we went at least three times a week for dinner. But I'm no longer sure if I'm still a fan of this restaurant. The night before last we went there for dinner. I ordered "Beef Chow Fun", and it both looked and tasted off. It's super oily but very bland in color and flavor, as if the chef forgot to use soy sauce. When I brought this to the attention of the female owner, her response isn't acceptable. She said "health-conscious customers like less salty and less oily chow fun, aka our version". I'm kinda stupefied at her answer. I grew up eating beef chow fun, and I know how it should look and taste; even their own version before didn't look like this.

Came here recently for takeout. Called ahead and food was ready when estimated, 15 minutes. Sampled the following:Dan Dan Noodles: Flat thin noodles with spicy sauce. Mung Bean Noodles: Thick wiggly blocks of mung mean noodle in a fiery chilli sauce. Shredded Pork with Dried Tofu: With bell peppers, not listed on the menu. Wasn't a big fan. When the peppers are on point, this combination works. It was ok. Shredded Pork with Sweet Bean Sauce: Yum. Pork, sauce, and scallions. Simple and delicious. Indonesian Fried Rice: Really good, with chili paste, shrimp, chicken, pork, and a fried egg on top. Parking: In shared lot, Gateway Shopping Center. Return: Yes, if in the area.

I posted years ago that this place seems to have two kitchens - the upscale with specialty dishes and the plebian lunch specials which receive no accolades in the least. The custom dishes have always been exceptional but today I relegated myself to a lunch special quickie with all due regret. The wonton soup was practically inedible - no, I shouldn't have even tried. The wrappers were on par with Michelin radials and I needed to stab the dumpling with a chopstick while I sawed it in half with the spoon. I always fear that sending back risks contamination in subsequent courses, so I didn't. Caveat emptor.

I love this place, it's SO good. Authentic Szechuan spices for sure! Highly recommend the shredded potato and the hot pot.

We came to this restaurant because we had patronized Ping Pong in Roxborough until it was shut down. We liked it a lot so we wanted to see how it compares. Mixed reaction, I'd say. The food quality was good, comparable to the other restaurant and the prices are reasonable. Service was not so good. The lead server was rather aggressive in trying to prod us to order food and drinks we didn't want, and then after that an assistant, who speaks no English and seemed limited in her general comprehension skills, "took care of us." Sparing the details, it was bad service. Hopefully this doesn't represent their service in general because, as I said the food was definitely good enough for us to return. So, in a nutshell, foods and price are 4 stars, the service was 2 stars.

After going to this restaurant many times; I can tell you that this place is amazing. It has one of a kind flavors. My favorite dish being the Shrimp with Walnuts. It is sweet and a blast of flavor in my mouth. The food came out in around 10 minutes, which is extremely impressive. It is quiet and cozy. It is a great place to eat and relax with family. Ping Pong will not disappoint you!

I've dined in and gotten take-out a few times from this location. The menu is extensive, with traditional offerings, which is always a welcome sight.Whenever I see authentic Chinese cuisine offered at a local Chinese restaurant, I always have to order something. It's not that common out here in the burbs. I've always had a positive experience dining in here and the food for takeout is always piping hot and well-seasoned.

service was terrible today. Inspite, of waiting for over 42 mins with my 10 year kid for food, my order they landed up screwing it, argued about what I ordered. Out right super rude! instead of being apologetic, the owner lady kept arguing and telling the next table in Chinese language about me ordering wrong.

Our second visit today was even better then the first. Had Frog legs hot pot, Kidney dish and Meatballs (a.k.a "Lion Heads"). Spiciness was accommodated to our level of tolerance with "no problem attitude" which was very appreciated by us because the usual case in other restaurants is totally opposite, they say that there is nothing they can do to accommodate. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD TASTY. We had those dishes in other Chinese restaurants, but none of them was as yummy as we tasted here.In our mind this place is THE BEST Chinese (Sichuan style) restaurant in this area (and maybe even further than that).Definitely coming back every time we visit this area. And if you like Authenticity in Chinese cuisine we highly recommend it to everyone.
