Queen Village Food Market & Deli

I can say nothing but good thing about this little market nested right off the sorta beaten path of south street, but on the corner of bainbridge street other than it's more than a market, The owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met and the fruit is always extremely fresh! I usually walk in here to get a quick healthy snack or sandwich after the group fitness class I go to a few doors down and if I have my daughter with me, the owner always gives her a lollipop or some sort of fruit.It's really one of the cleanest mini marts I've been to in a long time.The hoagies are so affordable, too! Around $5-$6 for pretty much everything and the deli meat is super fresh of course. I haven't tried their famous Turkish Breakfast Platter, but it's on my list for sure. Nice people really do make a difference with the whole experience because sometimes I don't even really want anything to eat, but I stop in here and grab something small just to have small talk with the owner.i hope they stay around for a long time!

It was a great experince. Their hospitality was really good !! I am also Turkish and I was able to find pretty much everything that Im looking for. I go this store almost every two weeks from Delaware.

Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla and all pre pared food along with soups and healthy snacks are so fresh. Love the new pressed veggie and fruit drinks. The staff is the best with helping find what your craving!!!!

This place is a hidden gem, looks like a normal little deli but inside you find all kinds of amazing Middle Eastern and Mediterranean (and other) gems. I love it! Get the baklava even if you don't think you like baklava.

In addition to the delicious "staple" items they keep (chicken salad, various sandwiches, pasta salads), they also rotate other specialty items like wings, buffalo chicken quesadilla, pasta in marinara with beef, etc. It's always fun to check out what they have that day in addition to the unique items they carry like international treats and staples, good selection of ice cream flavors, chips, and sodas. Great place and a regular stopping point!!!

This compact market is a neighborhood gem. Despite its small size, it not only has a little of everything, it also carries all kinds of Middle Eastern delights you may not ever have thought to look for. I greatly appreciate the fact that it carries lactose free milk, something I have asked the Essene Market to carry to no avail. The fruit and vegetable selection isn't vast but there's usually something there I can work with. The market has a sandwich/cold cuts counter in the back and a cheese selection that includes some hard-to-find selections like kashkaval. Also, it's open until 1 a.m. which is wonderful.

This place has a lot of food & beverage items that you can't find at some of the fancier stores. My man and I come here before we go to Penn's Landing. Basically we stock up on some of my favorite Turkish snacks. I like snacks, I mean I love snacks. The employees are friendly and help assist with whatever it is you're looking for. A great corner store for the inhabitants and visitors in the area.There's also a cat here that's very chill. Say hi when you see her.

The guy at the counter is the most ignorant human that's ever lived . Total came to 7.14 I found some change that someone clearly dropped and I picked it up to give it to him and he said is that yours ? I said yeah I found it on the floor . Then he hackled me saying it was his because it was on his floor . Shove it loser !
