This is a tough review. We order often from Queen. The food is consistently good for suburban Chinese. This time we ordered through the Yelp app and requested delivery. Delivery is handled by GrubHub. Two hours later, we still hadn't received our order so I checked the app. The app indicated that the food had been delivered 45 minutes earlier. It was sitting on our front steps on a cold night. The delivery person had just dropped It there without knocking. It was cold. I must note, first, that delivery orders placed directly through Queen are always prompt and hot. Secondly, I need to note that GrubHub refunded the total order price. That said, we wanted a prompt, hot meal. Not a free late, cold meal. The moral of the story, for us, is just call Queen and order directly from now on.

Queen is wildly inconsistent. One order the triple delight will be covered in spicy sauce and the next no sauce and no spice. Sushi is pedestrian at best bordering on supermarket level. They are reopening the dining room so hopefully things will get better. They do make very good dumplings but if you want real Chinese flavors, go somewhere else.

So I had stopped here before years ago and remembered the Chinese food being really good. So New Year's Day, I fall my usually Chinese spot and they are closed. I have to say I'm pretty picking about Chinese food because lots of places don't put like any peas or carrots in their fried rice and that is essential for me! I picked this spot instead because I knew they do their fried rice the way I like it.The crab rangoons were not shaped the way I was used to but they were large and had lots of filling, actually one of my favorite items I got. The egg rolls were a little small, but a great little appetizer nonetheless. The general tso's chicken could have more broccoli in the order, but was perfectly cooked and super flavorful. The fried rice I obviously enjoyed.Now I took a chance and ordered vegetable Lo mein, which I love but can find it to be hit or miss depending on the restaurant, was so good! It was loaded with broccoli and tasted PERFECT! And the plus side was everything came out to be cheaper than what it would have been if I ordered from my usual spot. Can't beat that!

I went here on a Friday night because the other place I was going to go told us to wait an hour. We were the only ones there on a Friday night (more did come by in the end). The service was prompt and fast. The server was nice. I ordered shrimp fried rice and all the other people ordered sushi rolls. The food itself was pretty average. Definitely the place to go for delicious and affordable sushi. They're an easy drive from Mt. Airy. I've had their Mushu Shrimp, Lunch Specials, Shrimp Fried Rice, and sever sushi rolls. Unfortunately, they dropped the ball on the Chicken Teriyaki which was terribly dry, overcooked and likely previously frozen from the taste; the accompanying broccoli was undercooked. I was expecting lots of sauce, but it was lightly drizzled on top of two flat, dense sliced chicken pieces. I couldn't say what cut of the chicken I was eating. I quit after a few bites. Bummer.
