Pyburns

This place had a lot of hard to find items. Cajun food and or New Orleans food like Boudin.... They also had plates to go with prepared food.

I love coming to Pyburns after each trip. Good clean veggies, fruit, and fresh made sausages and stuffed chicken wings is on the menu with some fresh , and smoked Turkey necks. It's just me so it was a little challenging not to buy more!!The service was great and very fast. Mask are required which is nice since we want the stores to stay open with the numbers rising everywhere. Be safe and come get everything you need - Fresh at Pyburns!!!

Hot food menu and hours need to be up dated, way off. I don't usually buy hot foods, my go to is Hot boudin, Sausages and dirty rice in the Butcher Shop area. Grocery Items tend to be more expensive than the other Stores near by. Decided to try a hot plate dinner, but unknowingly arrived a little after it was being closed. So pickings were very slim. Decided to go with Turkey necks served with white rice, gravy/juice and with the only sides left, Cabbage n yams . It was ok, eatable and a good portion. My Habanero Tabasco and Spicy Tony chasheree will make it taste more better once I arrive home. I do like this location better than the Almeda Rd location.

Modest neighborhood meat market with a big surprise on the inside. What might that surprise be? There is a legit soul food restaurant just chilling by the entrance. Oxtail, fried chicken, boudin. Just name it, they got it. As far as sides go, I recommend the mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. Prices are super cheap too, so you can load up without breaking the bank. Everything I tried tasted great, including the smothered pork chops. If you're on a diet, please stay away! Or come on one of your cheat days!

I rented out an Air B and B for my Chicago folks and the rice was one of the main dishes. They enjoyed it. Not to mention the person who took my order over the phone was great.

Good old fashioned store. Order the best dirty rice in advance and pickup later. The meat section looks fresh and delicious.

This is an Awesome Place to shop they also have Uncle Honey's Teacakes. Try them if you want good cuts of meat. The already prepared food is good. JUST TRY PYBURNS

I haven't tried their food items however, I love going here for their meats. I'm from Louisiana and a lot of items that I'm used to there I can't find here in Texas. Well until my daughter told me about Pyburns I know can enjoy my turkey parts, pig feet, seven steaks and the list goes on. They have these tea cakes that are so delicious as well. The cashiers are always friendly and that makes a difference going into an establishment and being greeted as soon as you walk through the doors. Keep up the great work I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Good prices for fresh food. The service is prompt and courteous. Easy access to household items. Line are long. But cashiers are well trained.
