Pyburn's Farm Fresh Foods

I have family out in Houston. So when we visit, I often stop the meat market to get alllll of the offerings. I love their boudain variations, the chicken and seafood are my personal favorites. I also got some stuffed cornish hens and can never pass up their links and oxtails! They even sold this black owned seasoning called Moe's Magic Dust - Creole Seasoning. It's pretty much my universal seasoning for everything these days!

I go here to buy oxtails because they have them and it's cheaper buying bulk here than other stores. I've only had meat from the butcher here and I'm satisfied.

First of all, this was worth the drive. The store us so much larger than the one I usually visit. Everything looks so good and fresh. I am not an oxtail eater but wow they looked good. All my son's favorites and some of mine. Turkey legs and necks l, ribs, Pork chops, stuffed chicken breast, sausage and Boudin The store is not only larger than the other one but is a lot cleaner. And I know that the other location is the original and the building is smaller and older but: here they are very organized. The music is great for grocery shopping. NOW n LATERS ARE YOU KIDDING ME- ALL OF THE FLAVORS I will be back

WISH I COULD RATE NO STARS!!!!! FOUND A ROACH IN THE BOUDIN!!!!!! I've been going to this location a long tome and sure hated this. Getting good boudin inHouston is so hard now a days!!!! Can't trust NOBODY anymore!!!

Angela,It's really sad, you are trying to reach out to me. I contacted Larry Johnson 4 months ago, and sent an email along with a picture, when this happen, he didn't return my phone call or send an email apologizing to me for your store negligence. He was very defensive. Mistakes do happen.I don't ever want to speak to Larry Johnson, he's not professional at all. What make you think Larry Johnson cares and will take care of my problem, when he never ever tried to reach out to me. I think it's too late for trying to reach out to me now. If your company wanted to make it good, Larry Johnson should've return my call or sent me an email apologizing. He didn't do NOTHING. He's not a good leader for Pyburns, he's toxic just like that nail in my sausage.I will never EVER come or buy anything from Pyburns again!!!Thank you!!!

One of my favorite places for Boudin, Dirty Rice, and Oxtails. The food is so good and fresh. The lunch portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. The food reminds me of a Sunday meal by my grandmother in New Orleans

Pyburn's is one of the few meat markets in Houston that has chicken boudin. I forgot this location was here until I did a search for boudin and it came up. I was impressed that this little meat market/grovery store has 4-6 self checkout lanes with a monitor who is happy to assist with issues.The guy behind the buthcer counter was very helpful and nice! I got my chicken boudin, a box of crackers, and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The area is a little sketchy, but they have security for the vast amount of parking. I've been back a few times.

First visit here and will drive the distance again because of the meat market and the service! I ordered the dirty rice for an Easter gathering, and it was a total hit! I also ordered stuffed pork chops, green onion, sausage, and Boudin. All was very good! Tony in the meat market, went above and beyond in packing my items with ice and carried it all out in a box to my vehicle. Food and service was fantastic!

Business located in a poorer part of town, but awesome plate lunches. Service was timely. Be aware of surroundings while parking
