This is an interesting spot to try. You can literally grab some good Salvadoran food while filing out paperwork to rent a moonwalk lol (seriously).I tried the majara fritta which was a whole tilapia fried, comes with rice and beans. It was tasty, the beans and rice was the best part for me. I also tried the típico, which came with 2 chicken and cheese papusas, fried corn tamale, and plantains. The plantains were so good and cooked perfectly. Papusas were yummy as well. I wasn't a fan of the fried tamale, but to each their own. This spot is worth trying, especially if you have never had Salvadoran food!

Nothing but positive reviews from me! Been here twice and have not been disappointed. First time, I did a to-go pickup for Bistec Encebollado and Pechuga de Pollo. I actually went there and placed the order at the counter. It took maybe 15 min. wait - not too bad. The owner was super friendly and let me try the curtido (I just googled that otherwise, I would've typed in cabbage slaw) because I was eyeing it in the drink fridge even though I didn't order pupusas. The bistek and the chicken were delicious and so tender. My second visit was for brunch dine-in. I ordered the breakfast with chicharron, plantains, black beans, avocado and 2 eggs. Oh gosh so delicious - I devoured my meal. The young waitress was very nice and she kept checking on us to make sure we were all good. It's a must try - don't pass up this little jewel on Almeda.

I ordered a Salvadoran breakfast with chicharron. I was a bit disappointed that the order only came with about 3 strips of plátanos. The taste is there, it's good. The other issue was that the horchata was clearly made from a powder mixed with milk. Not for my liking. . The problem for me was portions and price. Try it for yourselves.

This is a small simple place that I found while looking at places to eat close to where I was working. I ordered a corn tamal. It's available steamed or fried and with cream. I opted for steamed and no cream. It was moist and not porous and dry like I've found in other places. I also got a loroco pupusa. It's big and served with curtido and had enough cheese. To drink I had a marañon agua fresca. It's really good. They also have Salvadoran style horchata. I took a star off because the walls are lined with shirts with images of the current El Salvador president Nayib Bukele. I mean it's fine if you want to sell a shirt or two but that was over the top. What if you went to a restaurant adorned with Biden t-shirts?
