My top pick for Indian Food in the Burbs. Always good, people are always friendly to me. Takeout Only??? I think you could sit at the little counter by the window and eat if you really wanted to, but it's a small space.

Good flavors. But tonight we ordered shrimp curry through DoorDash and got five shrimp. For $18. Ridiculous. No resolution through DoorDash so hoping someone there will see this and get involved. We like this place but that is an absurdly bad value.

Had a last minute craving for Indian food and decided on this spot. The food was delicious. While I've had better Indian food, this one is excellent for being in the burbs. I got the butter chicken and the Chana masala. I highly recommend the Chana masala! Probably the best I've had. Can comment on service or ambiance but I will be ordering from them again.

Priya's Kitchen is a nice little Indian restaurant in the Westmont area. I would only recommend taking out as the dine in area is very small. The menu is pretty massive and there are a ton of selections of entrees and the meals can be made per your spice level - mild medium or spicy. The malai Kofta was really good - it is packed with a ton of garlicky flavor, the same as the naan bread. Only bad thing I can say is they charge extra for rice FYI it is not included with entrees. Overall I would pick this up again for carry out if I was in the area but that's about it.

Good take out Indian food in the neighborhood. Allow enough time before pickup. It's staffed as a take out place.

Quality food and service.I was in the area and decided to stop for a take-away lunch as the reviews looked great. I wasn't disappointed! I ordered a Masala Dosa and Samosa Chaat (still enjoying the leftovers!).The food was fresh and flavorful. Equally important, the proprietor was helpful and friendly. As I waited I saw him interact with regular customers who come there daily. He was so respectful and friendly with them.I highly recommend you give Priya's Kitchen a try.

Solid Indian choice for whomever is in the area! Here's what we've tried:Garlic naanPlain naanButter naan*SamosaBagara bainganChicken makhaniGobhi machurian (dry)*Seekh kabab lamb*Lamb madras*Aloo mutter*Vegetable korma*The menu is vast and the items with an asterisk are some of our favorites and recurring items to order. Flavors for are strong and bold for both protein and vegetarian choices. It seems like they can get fairly busy and stagger behind with orders. The longest we've had to wait was 15 minutes past our selected pickup time so it is reasonable. But we noticed other customers having to wait longer. It is probably best to plan accordingly and order well in advance of the time you want to have your food.

Place is small, only just a couple of tables, so it is more suited for take out. You can order on-line, but I actually ordered by phone to make sure which dishes had nuts and which didn't (family member with nut allergy). Woman was very nice and patient on the phone. They can make some dishes without any nuts. Food was ready when they said it would be ready. The dal takde (yellow lentils with tomato) was really really good. Also enjoyed the samosa chaat. The chicken fried rice was jasmin rice with pieces of tandoor chicken and egg. I really liked it! All together, I can highly recommend it!
