The deal after 8 pm on Monday and Tuesdays is outrageously good! I had such good time! ~$25 for wine and bruschetta is a steal. You had many options to choose for the flavors of bruschetta. The red wine was also very tasty. Service was fast. Perfect place for a date night- candle lit theme. ~50 people worth of seating combining indoor and outdoor.

*3.5 stars if possible*Postino is a restaurant/wine bar "chain" with locations in select states. I LOVE the concept here: wine, beer, and plenty of small plates!We arrived during happy hour, so we were able to snag $6 glasses of wine and a $6 pitcher of beer-what a steal! The Riesling that was recommended to us by our waiter was delicious.To eat, we tried a variety of items. We of course had to do 2 bruschetta boards and tried just about every flavor on the menu. I have to say, while I loved the concept, none of the bruschettas "wowed" me. We had the Table Cheese board, which was a hit-they have an amazing Brie and blue cheese here. The Sweet Potato Wedges were decent, and the Crispy Cauliflower we ultimately sent back because it was very bland-we swapped it for the Mushroom Fondue, which was delicious.Overall a great place for a "girl dinner" as the kids call it, but definitely would have loved a bit more flavor in some of the items!

Postino Montrose was on my bookmark for a long while ever since Montrose Mining Company closed. I always wanted to stop by and enjoy the food because I read so great reviews. But it's always past the closing time. I went there last night. Simply because I was really hungry after an event at Houston Eagles. I remember it was shortly after 9. Because I was going to get in the VIP line at South Beach. But I thought maybe I can grab a quick dinner. Then, head there before 10. Since the menu is simple, I thought my order would be quick. Guess what? It was a long wait for Crispy Cauliflower. I already wrote a Yelp review and posted photos at a different restaurant by the time the appetizer came. I was very disappointed with the "crispy" part. The only crispy thing was the rehydrated raisins. The waitress came to take the order shortly before I finished the appetizer. I ordered Italian Beef Panini Dip with salad. The food was fresh. The dip was too salty. The roast beef was bland, maybe because I asked for no cheese. Oh by the way, I don't see any vegan dishes. Everything has cheese. Vegetarian maybe. I had to ask for no cheese because I'm lactose intolerant. Sadly, the kitchen failed to replace the saltiness of cheese with something. Another problem, waitress didn't come by to check on my water level or how I was doing. I saw another waitress stepping on a chair to reach for wine bottle behind me. She did say "excuse me". But don't you have stepladder? That's a safety hazard for your employees. While I was not getting any attention, I wrote my second review and posted some photos and videos at a different restaurant. I was about to finish my third review; waitress finally came to check on me. It got me thinking. Was I not fit for the crowd? Was it because I'm Asian? What a miserable dining experience. While looking at the check-in offer on lunch, I'm contemplating whether I should come back. I need some explanation first.

Cute brunch spot! Enjoyed sharing a bruschetta platter - option to choose 4 different types. Highly recommend the prosciutto fig and mascarpone and salami and pesto! I liked that there were so many to choose from, they arrive pre sliced for easy sharing too.I also got the nine iron panini on focaccia, I liked the focaccia and bacon but the chicken was a bit dry. It comes with an option for salad, chips or soup. Service was good, they came to refill waters very often. Overall a good place for a group of ideally 4 to share some plates and enjoy a meal, prices are on the higher side but to be expected for this type of food.

I like this place! Mondays are the best day to go because you get board and bottle for $25 which is a steal since all there wines are $40 or more! Really wanted to see what the leek soup was about and the sweet waitress came out with a sample super nice of her and it was absolutely delicious so i got a cup! The only thing that sucks is parking and the place at the end of the bar has a horrible breeze from the AC that makes it unbearable to sit at. But definitely love the gluten free options and on mondays !
