I see some people complained about a crispy pizza but I had the opposite problem. It was cooked all the way but all the crust was soft. Ricotta would fall off a slice since it bent so much. They put a ton of garlic on the white pizza which I enjoyed. Knocked a star for the soft crust and attempt to message them about times on instagram and they wouldn't respond but would post. Gained a star because the last working the counter and who boxed my white pizza up was super pretty

Some of the best pizza in Seattle. Despite being steps from Pike Place Market, Post Alley Pizza feels like a hidden gem. They are a local PNW family owned restaurant serving whole pies and slices, made with locally sourced ingredients. Their menu also offers hoagies and salads. The place is tiny, but has a small amount of seating inside. On the day I visited, the vegetarian slice of the day was an Heirloom tomato with basil and ricotta, reasonably priced at $4.75. The staff were genuinely friendly, and my slice was hot and ready in under 5 minutes. The crust was the closest thing I've found to an NYC crust on the west coast; thin, chewy, with just the right amount of crisp on the exterior. The cheese and herbs were flavorful and fresh, and the sauce was bursting with ripe tomatoes. I just wished there was more of it; the slice was slightly dry. I will definitely order a whole pie the next time I am in town, and request extra sauce on the pizza.

Solid hole-in-the-wall pizza spot near Pike Place! I got the cheese slice which cost $4.50 before tax. It reminded me of New York style pizza, which is always a high compliment. I definitely need to come back and try their other items!

Came by on a whim when my friends realized that Post Alley Pizza was open the day we were visiting Pike Place Market. This mom-and-pop pizza shop is located a few blocks south of the market on an unassuming alley that can easily be missed if you don't know what you're looking for. Apparently hours recently changed and they're open for more hours throughout the week - they're closed Saturdays and Sundays. Menu is pretty limited if you're ordering by the slice. They have cheese, pepperoni, vegetarian daily, and meat daily. When they sell out, they sell out. But if you're ordering whole 18" pizzas, there's a bigger selection. They also have salads and hoagies. So this review is based just on their meat daily ($4.75 per slice), since that was all we could stomach after a full stomach from the market. We ordered two slices of the meat daily, which came out after a few minutes of waiting. Pizzas came with jalapenos, ham, cheese, and pineapple. We don't have too many good New York City pizzas in the SGV, so I would say this was really good. The crust of the pizza was crispy while the pizza itself was soft and chewy. Loved the toppings as well as the overall flavor. It wasn't too salty at all - and the extra pepper flakes really enhanced the taste. We just ate the slices by the tall tables on the side of the shop, but you can always grab a few and eat them by the waterfront. tl;dr - really tasty New York style pizza from Seattle! Definitely a must try if you're a fan of pizza.

We were visited Seattle for the first time & was referred to Post Alley Pizza by a local chef. Overall, a great lunch spot that's quick and easy! We ordered the Pepperoni, Cheese & Daily Veggie Special Pizza (which had broccoli rabe and mushrooms). This is your typical New York style pizza & it was great! I personally loved the pepperoni. Only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because other than the food, the experience isn't just stellar. You order at a counter, customer service is fine & there's minimum seating. But like I said above, it is great for a come & go lunch - which it looked like many locals were doing.

Have been here a few times as it's a block from my office. Always quick and fresh pizza. Two slices were $11 and some change. The pizza is good, it's thin crust with sparse toppings, perfect to eat walking back to my office. Staff is friendly and I like their ordering system where you order inside and wait outside since the place is small. This is definitely a place where you eat as you walk to your next location- there isn't a ton of seating or room inside. Definitely going to come back whenever I need an easy hot lunch on a work day.

Hidden gem (maybe not so much anymore) of a pizza place, with rotating slices and apparently very good subs too. I really appreciated I could order by the slice, and tried both a pepperoni and veg slice. The veg slice was broccoli and white pizza, and it was delicious but could have used more garlic and seasoning/salt in the cheese. The breading though was great and it managed to be crispy and hold itself together, despite the generous toppings.Would definitely recommend paying them a stop if you're in the area. No brainer if you're going to explore nearby downtown or taking out of towners. This holds up to the best NYC slice shops IMO, having been from the east coast.

I wasn't a fan.It depends what you're looking for though, I guess. The dough is thin and crispy. I prefer at least a little bit of chew to it, and only a very thin, subtle crispiness on the outside of the dough. I also like thicker, chewy crust with a bit of flavor.I also just prefer different flavors. The main thing I got was saltiness and oregano. That's what came through for me. The taste of the cheese didn't really come through, it was moreso just oily and kinda glooped together.I also prefer to get a lot more flavor from the sauce. I like a pop of acid and notes of sweetness, but didn't notice much of either.
