New food the hood alert!Stopped here to grab lunch for the family and was surprised that it was a whole new spot. They just opened about 3 weeks ago. I ordered some burritos to go and mine was the Pork pastor sans rice. So meat and beans. It was good. The had chili sauces that ranged from red, green and hanenero which was pretty good and def hot.I asked about pickled jalapenos, carrots and onions because that is usually how I know if I will like a place and they said they make them but they ran out yesterday. So I will have to come back and see if they have them next time.Maybe it's an LA thing but all good the good Mexican spots always have that and it's my own personal barometer of if I will continue to go back. But the food was good.

This is a new restaurant in the old Prescott Café location. Before it was here, this it was briefly the 350 Café. The folks behind this restaurant also run Alebrijes Market. This restaurant offers standard yet expanded Mexican fair like tacos, flautas, tortas, burritos, enchiladas, chilaquiles, empanadas, and more. It is pretty traditional: they don't have a lot of vegetarian options. They are also old school: no apparent website or social media. The interior is sparse yet clean. There is parking behind the building. My $10 veggie burrito was alright. I enjoyed the red and green hot sauces provided. I wish them the best of luck!

Greeted upon entering. Menus are on the wall so you essentially order at the counter. Val's enchilada's were excellent, a bit on the small side. Aron's steak burrito was huge and packed with steak. My street steak tacos were very flavorful with cilantro but no cheese of any kind. Place has been completely redone and is very sterile with really to ambiance. That's ok, you're there for the food. We may go back if we're on our way back from Kaiser. Only wishing them the best of luck they'll need it as lots of homelessness in the area.

I tried out the torta de carne asada and my girlfriend tried out tacos de asada and de lengua. Honestly one of the best torta in the neighborhood by far. The carne was good but I would say the bread was kind of deteriorating while I was eating it. Which was kind of messy, but wasn't really a dealbreaker. My girlfriend really liked her tacos de asada. She did say she wasn't that big of a fan of the lengua tacos(she usually loves them). Next time she said she would just stick to the asada. Overall was really good and the people behind the counter were friendly. As a Mexican I can vouch that the food was good lol We will be back.

We so wanted to like this place, since it's a short walk from our home. But alas, we won't be back. We ordered nachos de pollo, our standard take-out Mexican test dish which we've orderd from many, many different restaurants. And for beverages, an horchata and Jamaica; they were small and watery tasting. The nachos were 'remarkable'... in that they were the worst example of chicken nachos we've ever seen. The chicken was sparce and tasteless, no pico de gallo, no guacamole, a tiny sprinkle of cotija cheese, no frijoles refitos, just a pile of dry chips and and not enough of anything else. A total waste of $15 or so... Two stars for great parking and the cashier (owner?) was nice.

They are under new ownership with the same name as of a couple weeks ago and I have to say the new owners are killing it. Been trying as much as I can on the menu and they haven't missed yet with anything. The Oregon burrito is phenomenal highly recommend.
