Santo Domingo Taqueria

This little local gem is spot on. Seems to only be getting better as the years go on. Nice new seating and paint job ads some lovely hangout space to it. Asada tacos are flavored well and the tortillas are excellent. ¡delicioso!

On the hunt for my favorite burrito. And unfortunately this was a miss. Walking in at lunch time on a Thursday this seemed promising. And don't get me wrong it was good. But three star good. For 12.50 I chose the mega burrito with asada. I was anticipating a good sized burrito, packed with meat. And unfortunately this was not what I received. I understand the cost of everything is up right now. However for that price I was expecting to walk away stuffed. I even had to pay extra for pickled carrots and jalapeños. They had three hot sauces to choose from. A green, red and habanero. They were all very runny. The Green sauce had the best flavor to me. And the habanero had decent spice to it. Would I go back. Yeah. Not for a burrito though. Go check them out.

You will not find better, more authentic food in Portland. From the breakfast burritos to the tacos to the camarones to the tamales, this is the spot for Mexican food.

Been here a couples times, after the first time we knew we would be back. Another place that has been around for a long time but we managed to just miss going here and trying it out. Both visits the food has been great and the prices are on par for most places like this maybe even slightly lower. Nice people behind the counter and it seems i am the one that is slow to catch on to this place judging by the amounts of to go orders that keep flying out the door as we ate. My only complaint is i wish they had the prices listed in the store instead of only the website.Oh i almost forgot, be sure to try to burrito with cactus if you like cactus. Very different and delicious (not so different as it would be weird)

SO happy to find such a great taqueria :) Super delicious food, affordable prices, and friendly staff. No frills interior, but with food this good who has time to look around anyway! I especially like the carnitas. Best tacos I've had in Portland (and I've tried a LOT of places)

Very disappointing. Enchiladas were dry and bland, weak margarita, no prices on the board and it isnt cheap. Had high hopes.

This is a place to get some great tasting good at a reasonable price. The interior is nice and simple with no frills. You order at the counter and then pick up your food. I had the El Super Burrito, which had carne asada, guacamole, beans, and a chile relleno inside it. That chile relleno definitely made the burrito. The only downside is that parking is limited in that area.

On recommendations from many coworkers, I stumbled upon this place one Sunday morning. It was slow inside, which made me nervous at first. We ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. The burrito has good ratios of meat, egg, and potato. The chorizo had good flavor, but wasn't the best that I've had. Their sauces were good as well. Tried both and really enjoyed them. I wanted something a little extra, so we got an order of fries. I'd probably leave them out next time. Didn't enhance the meal besides being an extra filler. The staff was friendly and the service was pretty quick. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was just a chill taco shop. I'd definitely go back and recommend them for breakfast at least.

I went in on 5/13/24. As I am waiting to order the Spanish man wearing glasses about 5'6 around 50 years old looks around me like I wasn't there and said who's next and I say me and i tell him my order and he rudely walks away mid sentence of the order and serves food to another customer for a good minute I stand there in disbelief. One of the most disrespectful things I've ever experienced. Sad to leave a review like this. Concidering they have a Black Lives Matter sign on the door and do the opposite.
