El Goloso PDX

Some of the best Mexican food I've have in Portland!!! So glad I tried it, I now get it for takeout often. I've tried a few places and Goloso really gets it right. Their asada torta is flavorful, the telera is toasty, and the pickled chiles add some nice heat. The quesadillas (not the flour kind), huaraches, and sopes are made from scratch and really remind me of the food you find in CDMX and Puebla. Also, THE best pastor I've had here (THEY ACTUALLY ADD PINEAPPLE)! Other places that sell "pastor" get the flavor and cut wrong (so disappointing). Even though I get it delivered, the service is great! You can tell they really take pride in their food and care for authenticity!!!

Incredibly tasty burritos! Been coming back to El Goloso at least once a week and the burritos get better and better each time. Don't skimp on the hot sauces! Best burritos in PDX, no question.

Great new taco cart in the Piedmont station food cart pod. $3 street tacos. The chicken Al pastor is my favorite, not a lot of spots have it and it is quite juicy and they're filled up pretty generously w/ meat, and just the basic cilantro and raw white onion (as it should be) but they give you a little bit of some sautéed onions on the side you can put on if you want and then you choose whatever salsas you want. With sooo much competition nearby (at least 10 others within walking distance) it's hard to keep rank anymore but they are definitely in the top 4 out of 12 in my neighborhood.

Amazing street tacos! So full of flavor and filled with a healthy amount of perfectly cooked and seasoned meats! Do not mis out - eat here!

Delicious, great soyrizo burrito. Very, "meat" forward. A little in the expensive side - person working there accidentally switched vegetarian dish app for meat dish app and instead of offering to fix it just gave it to me and let me know? - I was on my way somewhere so I just let it go, but would have rather had what I originally ordered! Or an attempt to resolve it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The BEST burrito I've had in ages. The tortilla was perfect. The flavor was perfect - all the ingredients complemented each other, and while you could taste individual elements, nothing overwhelmed anything else. Not greasy. Huge portion. Delicious!!!

We were able to enjoy this delicious catered food at a friend's Christmas party and it was out of this world! All of their tacos were very flavorful and not greasy at all! Their salsas were out of this world as well! We are from California and it's VERY difficult to find true authentic food here in the NW! This place is 10/10 and I would highly recommend! Our family will definitely be back to eat here! Thank you for the delicious food!!!

I had the Huaraches. Excellent flavors and quite yummy. Nearby beer just made it that much better !I'll be back!

Came on a whim tonight to get a burrito for our little guy but when we saw that they had carne asada fries we just couldn't resist! Holy yum! Haven't had carne asada this good since leaving California! So pumped to have these guys in the neighborhood!

My second time hitting up this place and it is great!! I would say this has the best al pastor tacos in Portland. The people working the cart are always in a good mood and smiling. Will be coming back soon 100%
