Sometimes I just really need a sando from Porco's. Egg, pesto, fennel, and porchetta of course. It's a comforting and satiating meal that will make you feel stuffed for hours. It's easy to order online, sometimes there's a wait at the tiny window. There's another tiny window for the bakery side. I wouldn't say the bakery items are mind blowing and the drinks are alright. I've tried a lot of their specials and I was hoping the yuzu matcha would be more flavorful. It's a good thing they don't serve Cinnamon Toast Crunch soft serve all the time or I could see myself gaining a few pounds!

I'm sorry but the Philly and Cubano wereJust alright. Drinks? No.**the sandwiches were huge and the pork part was tasty but the other parts of the sandwich, especially the cubano, were insane. Also we ordered 2 iced mochas and they were cups of milk. Truly terrible.

Took a walk to Porco's for a meatball sandwich and a breakfast Sammie. While I waited for the food , I noticed people walking up, ringing the bell, and getting the brown paper bag with their order. Ah ha! You can order ahead. I did not mind waiting outside though ( the weather was perfect). The meatball sandwich was very good and filling. It was great seeing people walk up to the window to make or receive orders and supporting this business.

So I'm back again with an update because I've been to Porcos a few more times since my review and it's still 5 stars. As usual I always order the hash (and take off the arugula-- I'm sorry LOL) and recently I tried the Lavender Haze latte and it's amazing!! I have a huge sweet tooth and this gives me that fix perfectly! I also ordered a Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble Tart and just like any of their pastries, it was delicious. But a surprising twist was the passion-praline pup cup I ordered for my dog, Jasper. Naturally I had to have a taste before he did and the passion fruit is SOOO good! It's usually busy on the weekends so I always order ahead and my order is always ready to go when I arrive.

Amazing spot. There breakfast sandwiches are some of the best out there. Veggie meatball sub is a tad soggy. Breads are made in house - no seating area

This place is amazing. I ordered the Truffle Pig sandwich, which was definitely worth the $14. The combination of the crunchy porchetta skin and truffle goat cheese spread is to die for!Service was great and I got my sandwich within 10 minutes for Sunday lunch.

Fresh, housemade ciabatta bread, herbed porchetta, and crispy pork crackling...Porco's Porcheterria's sandwiches have all the textures and flavors!I got the Spicy Pork, which in addition to the OG (described above) has a fennel slaw and a roasted long hot pepper relish. The pork was very tender and delicious, and the fennel slaw balanced out the fattiness very well. I loved the ciabatta too! However, the pork crackling was a bit too salty for my taste buds and overpowered a lot of the other flavors. I wish the sandwich was also spicier. My friend got the Philly, which is the OG with rapini pesto and provolone. This was also quite delicious.Move one booth over, and you're at their Small Oven Pastry Shop, which sells a bunch of sweet treats and fun drinks! This was honestly what drew me to the place first. I had to refrain from getting one of everything...I ended up choosing 3: the chocolate hazelnut tart, yuzu lychee pavlova, and blueberry cheesecake. They were all super delicious! The people working there were super nice, and the service was great! I will definitely be back to try some other sandwiches and sweet goodies.

In a city of great pork sandwiches, Porco's differentiates themselves with incredible porchetta sandwiches served on wonderful ciabatta bread. I have not had another sandwich like theirs in Philadelphia, or perhaps ever. Throw in the little pastry shop (with their delicious cookies, bars, cakes, and pastries) and the solid coffee and fun drinks selection (yuzu matcha seltzer was a winner), all served from a window with an urban roadside stand feel, and the whole experience is just memorably fun. We've settled on two favorites, the OG ($13) for when you want just pure porky flavor and crackling crunch, and the Spicy Porker ($14) for when you want some fennel-y flavor interest and a roasted long hot kick. We like eating them at a nearby park to enjoy them while they're still freshly made, especially because the Spicy Porker is a saucier sandwich. I'd say that if you were planning to travel a longer distance, the OG might be your best bet.Porco's is open Wed-Sun 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., which is probably a good thing, otherwise we'd be here all the time. As other reviewers have recommended, ordering online beforehand is a good way to avoid the wait. We're already looking forward to our next visit, and to finally trying the soft serve!

Best pork sandwich I ever had. This is a takeout restaurant, but we ate it right there.

Very cute hole in the wall south Philly spot. The food did take some time but honestly it's worth the wait (or maybe I was hungry). The spot is literally a little window where they take your order and you go back for pickup. I can't wait to go back and order something different or the same items. The quality of the food was good and priced fairly. I heard the ice cream is also really good too!
