Interesting.Their Spicy Chicken Sandwich is worth all the hype and much more. It's one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. This is bizarre to me, as someone who can't stand fast food and thinks all of it - especially fast food chicken - tastes processed, frozen, gross. But not this sandwich. It's spicy, it's perfect, it's otherworldly.Ask for the hot sauce and add it yourself... it makes it even better. But also wetter. It's messy, so be careful.Service here has been anything from okay to awesome. A few times they were out of hot sauce (annoying). But 90% of the sandwiches I got here were f**king perfect, and hot and fresh too. Whereas most other Popeye's operate somewhere between 10%-50% success ratio. And less generous with toppings too.In other words - the best Popeye's I've ever been to by far and worthy of five star.Just don't kill anyone for this sandwich. Looking at you, person in Oxon Hill, Maryland.I prefer Mom's eyes than Pop's eyes, anyway. There. I said it. This is a very small Popeyes restaurant where they have one of those anti-robbery windows separating the cashier from the customers. There's only one window to place an order and another window to take your order so line could get long.Due to the size of this restaurant, I wouldn't even bother dining in. This is strictly a drive-through or to-go order only restaurant.

I have not been to this location in a long time but wow am I glad I did! Its a whole new staff of really busy people and the manager which i think took my order was really cheerful and pleasant . The food was great but the service was excellent! If you have not been here in a while stop by to be surprised!

***WORST EXPERIENCE EVER***My God, where do I start... this was the worst experience that I have ever encountered with a Popeyes ever! I decided to eat here for lunch yesterday. Drove to the restaurant around 1:30pm and the parking lot was EMPTY and there was NO LINE for the drive-thru either. I ordered a number 3, with lemonade, and mashed potatoes & gravy. I drove right to the window and handed the gentleman my card to pay for my order. He gave me my food, beverage, and card back all together. I returned to work to enjoy my lunch, opened the box and it was TOTALLY not what I ordered. Nothing was correct! I checked my receipt and I seen that I was charged for the correct order, but received the wrong food. My initial thoughts were "OK ... accidents and mistakes happen... no big deal... I'll just call and let them know so they can correct this mistake". It all went downhill from here! I tried calling the restaurant 9 times in a row with no luck of anyone answering. This easily irritated me because when I left there the entire restaurant was empty. I work seven minutes away from the restaurant and could not imagine that there was some type of lunch rush or dinner rush within seven minutes of me leaving there. I called the restaurant once again for the 10th time (which must have been the magical number because someone answered). It just so happened to be the same gentleman that was at the window that took the payment and gave me my food. Upon the gentleman answering the phone I politely asked for a manager and he stated "that's me, what's up". I did not believe I was speaking with a manager by the lack of professionalism he had by stating "What's up"?! I explain the situation and told him I just came through the drive-thru and I received the wrong order and would like to come back to exchange it for the correct food I paid for. He literally said "oh that's it?! Hold" and he placed me on hold before I could say anything else. He left me on hold for 15 minutes not ever checking back once and never came back to the phone at all. I ended up hanging up the phone. Gathering up the incorrect food I received and driving back to the restaurant. Once I got to the restaurant I parked and went inside to try to resolve this issue. I grew annoyed when I pulled up because the restaurants parking lot and drive-thru was STILL empty. I couldn't understand why I received the incorrect food in the first place especially since it was the manager at the window handing out the food. When I got to the counter I asked the lady to speak with the manager. He came over to the window and asked "what's up" once again. I told him I was the lady that had the incorrect food that he left on hold and never came back to speak with. And I was there to get my money back and felt that I should also be compensated with the free meal that I was initially supposed to receive. He then asked for my receipt. I placed the receipt and the UNEATEN food in the window and he snatched it out of my hand, smacked his lips, looked at the clock, and said "SO YOU WANT A REFUND OR WHAT?" I then explained to him again that I felt that I should get my money back and a free meal for the trouble of having to come back up here just to speak with someone because I've called 10 times and was left in hold fir 15 minutes. I pulled out my phone showed him my call log and he just walked off and started speaking in Spanish to his crew (which all were Hispanic). He walked to the back and came back with another receipt and said your money has been refunded with a huge attitude and slammed the receipt on the counter and just walked off! I asked if I could have his name and his managers name, or corporate information or the district or regional managers or someone who was above him so that I could express my concern about the level of customer service or lack of that I received at the restaurant. He continue to ignore me no matter how many times I asked for him to come back over to the counter so that I could have the information. After about five minutes of standing at the counter I asked again for about the 7th time if could I have his name and managers information. He finally turned around and very loudly screamed "I don't have a manager, I don't have any information for corporate, or anyone else that you could speak with! I am the manager here and I gave you your money back!" I am just blown away by how this manager conducted himself. He absolutely needs management training on every aspect of his job. The blatant disrespect, lack of poise, and horrific customer service should have never been displayed by a someone in a management role. If this type of behavior is tolerated and a direct reflection of Popeyes leadership team I can only imagine what type of despicable attitudes the regular workers would have. Guess I'll be googling their complaint line and trying to contact someone about this.

This Popeyes is a hot mess. Their customer service sucks majorly. It's Tuesday, so of course the line is out to the street. But you go through all of that to make it to the menu just so that the lady can have an attitude like you've done something to her. Lady! I just got here. I'm not the person you're upset with. I should have gone to Chick fil A. It's always their pleasure to serve. I pray that this lady finds peace so that she can be kind to those she meets!

Ok so I'll try n be as honest as I can cause I am an honest person the food here taste good yes it does but oh my god every single time I order from here my order is wrong!!! And I'm not kidding it happens all the time and since I only get 30 minute lunch I barely have enough timeTo go pick it up and go back I don't usually have enough time to drive there and drive back and have inspected my food.... And yet I still go there I know what a bad choice to make but usually my co workers all want some fried chicken and there isn't much in the area.... 290/610 .... I wanted to give this a 3 off the strength of the Signature Chicken and the Chicken Sandwich, but seeing as this review is about the Nuggets, I'm going to stay at 2.I got the 6.99 special with 8 nuggets, two sides (which I'll cover in a minute), a biscuit, and a large drink, which somehow turned out to be $12 and change overall. I did get two mac and cheese sides, which apparently ups the price tag considerably.The chicken nuggets, while crispy like their Chicken Sandwich, had so much breading and just a little bit of chicken, with not a lot of flavor. That's a sizable disappointment for a restaurant that got tired of losing comparisons to Chick-fil-A. Popeyes does have good sauces to pair with the chicken, but I didn't get sauce, because good chicken nuggets should be able to be enjoyed without sauce, and these nuggets did not deliver.Also, their mac and cheese is pretty under-seasoned for the upcharge that they gave me.I'm sorry, Popeyes. You want me to respect you like Chick-fil-A? Then you need to put in the Chick-fil-A effort, because this isn't cutting it.

Attended 5026 Antoine after church on Mothers Day. At first the manager refused my survey coupon. Finally she said she would accept it but that was the last time she would ever accept it. She was extremely rude & unfriendly. She refused to give me a receipt for my purchase (thinking she was preventing me from taking a survey on her restaurant).

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. Only reason I come to this location is because it is down the street from my house. I went to get lunch today around 4 and before pulling off I checked my ticket and the order was rung up wrong from what I had asked to get. I told the person at the window which I'm pretty sure is the store manager and she fixed the food. I didn't taste my drinks until I got home they were completely wrong. I was missing food from my order and didn't realize until I was home ready to eat. I called immediately to let them know and no one answer after I called more than once. I went back a couple of hours later due to the fact I Just got off work and didn't want to wait to eat my food just to go get what I was missing. I got there and asked for a partial refund to cover the food that was missing and they denied giving me my money back. After going back and forth asking they ended up ignoring us and when asked for their names and a district managers info they were quiet. This is the worst Popeyes I've been too. It always takes ages to get your food. And somehow there's always something wrong with an order. Customer service is not the best either. I definitely will not be coming back here and will take the extra miles to go to another location. This locations needs to be closed or needs a wake up call to get a manager that will run this business the right way.
