Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

First I'm going to tell you I don't really like Popeyes chicken but I had to see why everyone is talking about their new chicken sandwiches. I bought one spicy and a regular chicken sandwich plus 2 sides of coleslaw for lunch for me and my honey. The chicken sandwich was $3.99 (not a combo) That's not a bad price. Now on to the popular chicken sandwich. Mine was very very good. It only has mayo, pickles, chicken on bread. Very basic but tasty. Was not greasy at all. The chicken was nice and crunchy. The coleslaw was good too. My husband said the spicy sandwich was indeed spicy and he liked it better than Chicken-fil-a's sandwich. He enjoyed both his sammy and coleslaw. So I guess I do like Popeyes (children sandwiches) after all. Will definitely eat both again.

I was craving a spicy chicken sandwich on the way home and decided to stop since I have not been to this location in a long time and it is on the way home. My niece only wanted fries so I figured I would give her my fries and I would just have the sandwich. For $10 I am disappointed that the fries were not fresh and they only put a little of the spicy sauce on the sandwich. The young man at the window did not want to be at work you could tell. There are so many other places to get a spicy chicken sandwich in the area that I will not be going here anymore even though I work across the street.

Every piece of my blackened chicken was so tough and chewy i had to toss my whole meal and it ruined my appetite. Definitely my last time stopping at this location.

My family and i went again after many disappointments ! And tonight on 8-2-2023 we somewhat got a decent batch after i went in! It was not a refried batch! And I requested a new batch! For once our red beans/rice was flavorful and chicken was spicy and hot so i will give them points for stepping up! It may not happen with every order but it did happen with mine after many complaints ! I guess Persistent is key depending on the person! Thanks to the Manager! I dont want to complain anymore!

out of 12 workers one black 11 Latino and the food tasted like it. Get some diversity and season the chicken

Soooo...... pissed I almost chipped the crap out my front tooth because an idiot decided to put a thigh in my chicken sandwich!!

FYI:The mac and cheese will be extra if you choose it as a side in the big box $6.99 special.Will be paying $0.50 + $6.99. Was not told this up front and it is also not advertised.Pros1. Food tastes good.2. Made fresh to order (if you ask, such as fries, or if they run out and have to make more).Cons1. Run out of condiments every time I come, especially honey.2. Service is either a hit or miss. Recently it was a miss and very unfriendly.3. The sides menu needs improvement. This restaurant needs a better selection of sides and it NEEDS to bring back the cajun rice.4. Wait time is too long on their busy days and during peak times(weekends and Tuesdays, lunch time and dinner time).5. Dining room trashcans are dirty and staff doesn't wear gloves, hair nets, or masks.

Service was bad, informed me that they were limited to options, food was cold, drinks were limited, the order was incorrect and the drive-through personnel blatantly swore at me for asking to repeat the order kindly.

I ordered a 5 piece tender meal with red beans and rice. And also a 2 piece thigh meal but received the complete opposite of what I ordered! Instead of tenders I received cold wing pieces and Mac and cheese that was uncooked! instead of red beans and rice. The sprite was absolutely horrible and didn't taste anything like it! I will not be back at all! I'm highly disappointed!

The chicken was fresh hot and tasty Much better than the other Barker Cypress location.Its funny the are on the same street and a big,hugh difference.Must be the management.
