Pomo Pizzeria - Biltmore

Indubitably one of the best experiences I've ever had!!! I ended up using a third-party to order multiple entrées from this location, but to my dismay they did not meet the consistency I'd been accustomed to from Pomo Pizzeria. However, upon contacting the store manager "Joey" I was most delighted as he went out of his way to give the best Customer Service experience I've ever had! The manager Joey not only made certain to note what was erroneous, but even offered to fix it right away sending me an email entailing the sum of proper accommodations. Equally, I am most impressed with how pleasant of a manner Joey conveyed when contacting him. His tone and style of communication was reassuring to hear and made me feel all the more accommodated. Superb hospitality (such as that which Joey provided) are a rarity in these times; thus I had to make a review to give proper gratitude. Thank you again Pomo Pizzeria.

This is a tough one... kinda shocked and also embarrassed. Took our friend out for his birthday and highly recommended this place. I used to eat at the Scottsdale location all the time as it was close to my office. Like I said before, unfortunately this location and experience left me shocked and embarrassed. I put on the reservation that it was a birthday and also confirmed when we checked in and when the server came. All of this was before our friend showed up as we tried to make it a surprise for him. We ordered our food, my wife and I got food and our friends got dessert only. My wife ordered a salad with no onions as she is allergic. The salad came out with onions at the bottom but it was hard to see since we were sitting outside and it was dark. After eating a few bites she could tell something was wrong. We used our phone flashlight and noticed all the onions. We told the server and he was super apologetic. He quickly got a new one made and brought it out assuring us there are no onions. He said he told the kitchen again about the allergy. She started eating the new salad and again something was wrong. We used the flashlight again and sure enough, there were onions. At this point I was pissed. This is not something to take lightly and clearly they didn't care. I sent the second salad back and said forget it, we don't need another. The server was again apologizing but we knew it wasn't his fault.Now to the next issue. Our friend's dessert came out with no mention of Happy Birthday, no candle or anything. At this point I think our server was unhinged and started forgetting everything. We had ordered a pizza to go for our kids and he forgot to ring it in. We ordered dessert for my wife and I... he forgot to ring it in. We needed refills and asked for them... he forgot to bring them. I was so embarrassed after highly recommending this place and I felt like I fell flat on my face. Not a memorable birthday for our friend or a memorable dinner for my wife. During all of this one would think the manager would have come by the table.... Nope! It wasn't until the end of our meal when we got our bill that she stopped by. She said I heard we had a small issue here. A small issue? You put onions in my wife's food twice and she is highly allergic... more than a small problem. You also forgot our friend's birthday as well as the pizza to go for our kids, oh and also our dessert... yeah a "small" issue ‍‍. She took care of the desserts as a token, yippee. All in all a shocking visit. Definitely not the Pomo I was used to as I never had an experience like this at the Scottsdale location.

My wife and I have been here a few times, and we have enjoyed the food very much. They have very good pizza and the pasta is equally as delicious. The reason for my 3 star review is the service we received last time we were here.We had made an outside reservation for 7:45pm. We arrived and checked in with the hostess at 7:40, and although there was an empty table that had been set up and ready to go, we were informed that they were hoping to seat us at a table that had just gotten their check. We sat down at the fire pit and waited. 10 minutes later another couple arrived for their indoor reservation, and although there were no seats available, they were seated in the outdoor empty table. When my wife and I asked why they were given the open table before us, even though we arrived earlier and requested outside seating, and were not given a response, just an "I'm sorry for the wait".Our table the hostess was saving for us proceeded to order another bottle of wine and stayed seated for another 30 minutes, and once they left only then was my wife and I attended too. By that time the couple that was seated after us had already had their food brought to their table. So I ask, does reserving a table inside mean priority seating over those who request outside?Again, as good as the food usually is, this last experience left a poor taste in my mouth, and will be going to other Italian restaurants in the future.

Pomo Biltmore is the best spot ever! The food is ridiculously wonderful and drinks are off the hook! Mariah our server is as knowledgeable and had the sweetest personality. Joey was incredible helping us with cocktail choices! Don't miss this spot!

Another favorite and staple of mine! I visited this one the most since I lived closest to it, but I had also gone to the downtown Phoenix location a few times before moving to Biltmore. Dtphx was nice because they had gelato!I came here countless times (I think I had even been when it was previously Wink 24 pizza which I enjoyed before the changeover).The Biltmore location was just the perfect treat for any and every occasion - afternoon happy hour, break from shopping, date night, catching up with friends. Great fried calamari and meatball appetizers. As far as pizza, the diavola and toto sapore were probably my favorites. But couldn't go wrong with principe, quattro cheese, and capricciosa. My favorite pasta by far was the gramigna boscaiola, the flavors still linger in my taste buds to this day!Their drinks were amazing too. Of course they had a great wine selection, but their cocktails were creative, fun, strong, and tasty! They used to have a GREAT happy hour (half off drinks) but I think it has since changed to a limited menu and less of a discount- still totally worth going any time though!Service was always pleasant and friendly. I also loved their live music on Fridays/Saturdays, especially when I was able to sit by the fire pit to enjoy it all. At one point, they had a pizza and penny prosecco special (bottle of prosecco for a penny with any pizza purchase) and that was just a steal - reminded me of Federal Pizzas weekly promotion.All in all, this is definitely worth checking out, and if you go once, I bet you will go again!

Came with some work associates for lunch. We had a reservation based on past experience at how busy this location gets during the lunch hour. Was 12:30 and basically there were only a few tables taken. We were actually surprised at the lack of customers and got a bit worried!I ordered the Kale Romano, which is their take on a Caesar salad with the addition of kale. I'm not a big kale person but the salad was fresh and the kale didn't take over the taste from the romaine. The dressing is light and flavorful with a perfect hint of garlic. I had ordered ice tea and taken the lemon out and squeezed it over the salad to add a bit of zest. Very good!Ordered the Salsiccia Funghi pizza, which is basically sausage and mushroom. Pomo's crust is so good with that perfectly cooked, charred in places, and a good pull of crust. It is what makes their pizzas! The toppings are what makes a great pizza as well and this pizza had a good amount of sausage and mushrooms and their sauce is so good, a great balance of tangy and sweet marinara. I was missing the basil...which you will notice on the photo! I love the addition of basil because it just helps to bring a bit of freshness to the pizza. Not complaining because overall the pizza was delicious! I'm just reporting on what I had this time around because it was a bit awkward to include other business-related coworkers this time around. Will add that their portion sizes are good for two and I actually brought home half the salad and pizza for my wife!I typically explain my star ratings with my reviews so why just 3? Service was ok, not as attentive as we've experienced previously. It was obvious that one of the servers was distracted and not really present with the work. A co-worker had requested no cheese on her pasta dish (an allergy) and it was served with parmesan sprinkled all over. When asked, the server immediately said, no I told them no cheese but upon closer inspection, agreed that there was cheese and took it back to the kitchen. Took few minutes for a new dish to arrive which was fine because there was conversation about whether they would just scrape off the top and cover it with sauce. It appeared to be a new dish sans the cheese.

It's cozy inside as the space is small but the food was yummy! Their drinks menu included different espresso martinis and chianti selections and more. I thought their food came out pretty quick after we ordered. I ordered one of their pizza and it was a thin crusted pizza. My boyfriend ordered their gnocchi and he wished it came with some breadsticks.

Great ambiance and atmosphere! The pizza and pasta tasted amazing! I added a glass of Prosecco to top it all off! Great customer service is the sprinkle on top the well ran establishment! They are definitely a must try!

The service here is spectacular! Emily was the best and very attentive. The food was amazing. Definitely coming back :)

Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. Everyone was so kind. The Server i had was 10 of 10 his names Nick. Make sure you take care of him because he's for sure gonna take care of you.
