Pollos & Jarras

I recently tried the Miami downtown location, and it was a fantastic experience! The restaurant gives a bit of speakeasy vibes when you first enter. The Lomo Saltado was incredibly flavorful, with tender beef and perfectly seasoned vegetables. The fusion of Peruvian and Asian flavors was spot on.The sushi was just as impressive. Fresh, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious. It's rare to find a place that nails both traditional and fusion dishes so well.The ambiance was festive and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a night out. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Incredible place. Fun vibe with great food and drinks. We always enjoy our lunch .Recommend this place highly!

So.. disappointing had a lomo saltado if you didn't know what this dish supposed to taste like, you would have thought it is good. The rice that came with it was a little sticky, the fries used I this dish were coated with some type of starch that makes them crunchy, here is what happens when you use fries like this. When they come in contact with the juices of the stir saltado fried it creates a sticky mash in your plate. A couple more issues of this dish, it tasted too Asian and not Peruvian it was lacking a touch of vinegar which is signature for this dish.Also order a ceviche mixto, lack of flavors. When asked the wait staff what kind of fish was use in the ceviche they were vague. The sweet potato seemed to be made into a mashed purée with some other ingredients. It tasted funny. Also order pollo a la brasa, this was good but again it came with the funky coated fries??The first time I came to this place I was blown away that I had to come again within a week. Peruvian food is well known all over world for its rich flavors , ingredients and unique Asian's influence.

Sorry to report that Pollos & Jarras has changed since I was there last and not in a good way. Yesterday I ordered a full rotisserie chicken with a side of fries and salad and it was almost $40. First of all the chicken was very small. Fine I get it and maybe they are free range chicken, who knows. But the fries were horrible. They are no longer the light golden brown. Now they have a orange coating and were very soggy. And the amount of salad was enough for 1 or 2 people max. I am very dissappointed and I hope they change things back as they were. Also for a whole chicken they only gave us 1 sauce of each flavor. I think at least 2 of each should be included for a meal that is supposed to feed 4. I still have it 2 stars for the fast service.

The food is amazing. It was recommended to us for a beautiful ambience and a beautiful restaurant. Chris David was our server and he is so friendly and informative. I would definitely come back. We had the chicken Chicharrón and it was amazing.Five stars

The menu was lengthy. I'd recommend reviewing the menu prior to coming unless you don't mind taking 5 minutes to peruse the menu. I actually did not mind because the menu was well laid out. The carne asada was my favorite. It was fresh and tasty and grilled. I would def eat the carne asada again. The server was very attentive as well. It didn't take long refill drinks.

First time in Miami and I went to the Bay St but none of the food looked appetizing to me .. then I found this place which was a bit of a walk from there but oh my my boy am I glad I found this place. 5/5 food and service. I loved the atmosphere of this place, it was dark yet very bright inside and the decorations of this restaurant was very unique. Our waiter was super friendly and sure did know his menu as he gave us a lot of good recommendations. The food tasted delicious!! They gave us a whole rack of their sauces and I loved all of them. I hope when I come back to Miami I can get another bite of their food!

I tried Pollos & Jarras for the first time a few days ago with a group of friends. It was late on a Sunday and the staff was very happy to let us in even though they were closing in less than an hour. The late hour did not stop them from not only proving great service but from also cooking up some delicious food. Everyone loved their food. I ordered the Steak Chaufa rice and it was a big delicious portion. Overall a great spot for some Peruvian food if you are in the Downtown Miami area.

PLEASE RUN TO THIS PLACE NOW!!! I visit every time I'm in Miami and I honestly feel like it tastes even better with each visit. The service is top notch and fast. They do tend to get busy so it wouldn't hurt to make a reservation just in case. The chicken soup they give you upon arrival is 100/10, it's so flavorful! For this particular visit I ordered Lomo saltado (chicken & beef) and everything tasted so amazing. Sebastian was our server, and he was the absolute best! Very patient, knowledgeable, and great with making recommendations and explaining dishes on the menu. The decor is very fun and lively and the music was a great touch on top of everything.

Unbelievable location and food. This is a consistently great location to visit. The service was a little lacking, and the location was FREEZING, but it was an overall great dinner . Brought two more people with me tonight that have never been and now they can't wait to come back.We do miss the pollo y yucca basket. That was our favorite. Please bring it back. The Churrasco was cooked perfectly and the rice delicious. The fried plantains phenomenal! The sampling of chicken soup was incredible. Leaves you craving more. I'm a fan of this location and consider it one of my favorite places to go.
