Always enjoyed coming here when I worked in the area. Thought that Yelp's Big Night In would be a good reason to get take out from them. We weren't disappointed at all. We ordered our usual, rotisserie chicken, fried cassava, and sweet plantains. It was just as good as I remembered. This is a great place to get a meal to go during the pandemic shut down.

I must start by saying the 20% coupon on Yelp isn't valid. I picked this place for my friends and I to meet up. We were seated quickly and the waitress was nice. The restaurant and the bathroom was clean. That's always a great side of a good business.I ordered the 1/4 chicken with an avocado salad and Mexican rice. It was delicious! My friends enjoyed it as well. I would definitely visit this restaurant again in the future.

Amazing chicken dishes. Our favorite is the chicken with the green sauce and white rice! I'm sure that sounds bland but it is anything but bland. We worked at a nearby office for years and this place was always packed for lunch. Most people did the pick 2 lunch special and more than one coworker ate there everyday. Typically my wife and I would split a whole chicken and big side of rice. I think about this place at least once a week since we moved.

Cute family restaurant. Had the Peruvian chicken with Mexican rice and fried yucca. Excellent...! Think I may have smacked my lips. Portions are generous as well. That spicy sauce that comes with the chicken is oh so yummy, hard not to request a second serving of it. Since I was on a lunch date, I had to "behave" and didn't. Made a mental note to go back with my friends this weekend. The food comes out very fast at a perfect temperature. Nice waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed handling the dining room and the take out counter by herself, but kept her smile!

Wow! This little place is right off the Sam Houston Toll Way. I came on a whim and I'm very pleased. I had the half chicken combo with pinto beans and fried plantains. The chicken was so moist and tasty, the pinto beans were so satisfying and the plantain had a hint of sweet and tang. The salsa bravo is so wonderful too. Presentation is environment is delightful and staff so good. I will be backNew update 03/26/18 ordered the whole chicken combo. The wings on the two breast pieces were dried and toasted to a crisp dry yuck as well as part of the breast. I brought it to the waitress attention. She took my complaint to cook came back and told me that she told the cook about it. That's it!? I expected her to take the pieces back and replace them with edible ones, but that didn't happen. I wasn't about he escalate, however I gave her a big fat $0 tip.- she earned it. I know she can control the cook but she can decide to serve it or not and even take it back to the cook. If you want light, refreshing, filling, and inexpensive food with nice service you should come here. Service 5/5 Waitress was really sweet. Forgot the name but it was a mash potato appetizer 5/5It was really cute and it tasted like a potato chicken salad. It was potatoes on top and bottom and the shredded chicken in the middle. It was different I liked it. Half chicken 4/5 The chicken was a bit burnt but other than that it was a nice rotisserie chicken. I guess it didn't really appeal to me as much because I eat a lot of rotisserie chicken and they're all tasting similar now. Spicy fries 4/5 It was fries with some spicy seasoning on it but the seasoning wasn't really popping out or anything. Mexican rice 4/5 At first I was disappointed when the rice came out because the color was so light I could tell it wouldn't have been flavorful. But after eating it with the chicken and hot sauce, it was good that it didn't overpower anything. I still think the rice should have a bit more flavor though. Sweet plantain 5/5 It was good Everything filled 2 people up and ended up costing only a bit over $20.

It's great if you prefer double CARBS with your food and kid sized protein portions. First time here and I ordered take-out. The entire experience could've been better. There's definitely room for improvement. Wait staff:From my observation during my visit on a Friday early evening. There was only one other couple dining-in & 2 other small parties during my wait came in. The waiter appears to have multiple responsibilities no big deal. That's usually expected in small restaurants. This was the person that interacted with the customers from cradle to grave. In a small restaurant this individual needs to be on point!Kudos to timely greeting customers upon entry but that's where it stopped. No menu and everything else kind of follows suit. Kudos to being a pleasant human being. There's still a promotion on yelp if you check-in that offers 20% off. It's June 2018 and they didn't honor the promotion. I'll attach food pics for reference but geesh they didn't allow be to substitute the fries. The reason, "well because you only get 5 fries". RIGHT! Imagine what you'd do or the thoughts that runs through your mind if someone had told you that. After that I was done and over this place. Food:Chicken was overcooked and burnt. Chicken was ordered with sides, all packed in individual containers. Plantains were overcooked and reheated, ugh! Overly sweet, mushy, mess. Pinto beans were good. Beef was not cooked rare as ordered and portions were not filling. Beef strips with fries, rice and garnished with stir fried onions and tomatoes. As mentioned previously fries were not allowed to be substituted.Hopefully your experience is better. Nothing to the culture and their customs however I appreciate the different food experience

If you got dried chicken, I feel bad for you son.I got 99 problems but Pollo Bravo ain't one.Had a craving for latin food and after checking out different places, I decided on Pollo Bravo cause it was conveniently located close to work. Obviously had to try the chicken and got the 1/4 chicken combo with two sides (avocado salad and pinto beans) for $7.99. The meal came out fairly quick; went right in and poked the chicken with my fork separating it from the bones, so moist so moist and the chicken skin was so crispAAy. Asked for the green sauce and that just made it so much better, I have no idea why...crack sauce is what it should be called. The sides were delicious as well, avocado salad had onions, purple cabbage, avocado slices, tomatoes and a citrus-y dressing on it. Pinto beans were sitting in a meat-based broth was was diiiivine, probably my love of mexican food. It was a good portion of food to fill you up but I do agree that I wish it was a tad bit cheaper! I knew I was in for a good meal when I walked in. How? Cause there was a diverse crowd in the restaurant with MOSTly Latino occupants. I'll let you in on a not-so-asian secret.....if I walk into an asian joint and it's mostly non-asians in there, it's kind of like a light bulb that going off to get the F out of there, maybe not all places but...80% of the time it works every time. Will be back!

If it were located in Siberia, it'd be "Pullover Bravo" because it's so cold. If it were greasy and caused heart attacks, it'd be "Pulminary Bravo" and I'd advise not eating here. And if it were the people that rigged the 2000 election in Florida, it'd be "Polling Station Bravo" and they'd get away with it. Again. What to get: Chicken with Salchipapa as a side. What not to get: Stuck being the side b**** of your Saltypapa. We were very happy that they were open late showing a Peru soccer friendly shortly before the World Cup, and we were able to get food after their closing time. However you can definitely tell that they are a franchise expansion location, because the food is nowhere near as good as the two original locations which we go to regularly in Spring Branch and Hillcroft.Their sides are all good, especially the Salchipapas (as opposed to your Salty Papa... I know a good therapist?) which are delicious French fries mixed with hot dogs. It tastes a lot better than it sounds. Like my Uncle who wears the dayglo neon speedos. We will give it another try at some point soon but it's sad that the best Peruvian chicken in the region is expanding and franchising so rapidly that it isn't really keeping the elements that made it so amazing in the first place. Sob. Four stars because it's still pretty good and because they were open so late - but it could go down to 3 if they consistently have lower quality food when we try it in future. And if Mel Gibson yelled "you can take our lives, but you'll never take our chicken!" it's be "Pollo Braveheart."And if lots of surgically enhanced princesses who make X-rated movies for a living came here to eat, it'd be "Pollo Brazzers."(I know at least one who does, and I can Peruve it. The proof is in the pictures. The proof is not in the pudding though because I don't like the puddings here). And if said girl gets chafed while eating here because her enhanced thingies are too big and her (unneccessary) upper-half undergarment is too tight, then that's "Pollo Bra-straps."

Delicioso! Lovely decor. Comfortable and warm. Friendly staff who bend over backwards to serve you. Great chicken( juicy, not dry), inca cola was a hit with the kid. Their chilaquiles were the best. They also have ceviche, which I will try next time.
