A Fresh and Flavorful Journey at Pokeono!Pokeono proved to be a hidden gem that delighted our taste buds with its fresh and high-quality offerings. The raw salmon and ahi tuna selections were both impeccably fresh, setting a good impression for us right away. We went for the "build your bowl" option, as we relished the choice to customize our meal. My bowl contained: white rice base, raw salmon, edamame, kimchi radish, shredded nori, seaweed salad, and wasabi shoyu sauceThe standout was the salmon belly, boasting a delightful tenderness that elevated the entire bowl. The addition of veggies and well-balanced sauces complemented the flavors harmoniously. While the white rice provided a solid base, the suggestion of sushi rice base resonates - envisioning a pairing that could have elevated the salmon bowl even more. Nevertheless, the overall quality of the bowl showcased a commitment to clean and healthy dining options.Pokeono is undoubtedly a destination for those seeking a fresh and flavorful journey!

SAT JUNE 15, 2023: Location was marked as open on Yelp/Apple/Google but on arrival, all signage is down, chairs stacked against the wall, lights off. Place looks like it's been closed for a while. Just one handwritten sign on door: Closed due to broken AC.Nothing on when they may reopen.

Now that poke bowls are no longer the rage in the city (people just don't know a good thing when they see it), I've been searching for places near my workplaces to fulfill my poke craving. Looks like I found a good one! It's a small little shop in Ardmore and they have tuna, salmon, shrimp, and tofu here. There are lots of sauces and a myriad of toppings. They don't seem to limit you on toppings which is so nice. The regular size bowl is definitely a good size for lunch, even dinner, and a larger size is available. The rice is warm which makes the cold ingredients taste so much better. I love the contrast. Highly recommended. Very filling and a much better deal than getting a couple of sushi rolls at your face sushi spot. Just think of this as deconstructed sushi!

Glad I started this review three months ago and never finished. Welp, better late than never, right? One of the worst parts about good 'ol Winthrop, WA is the fact that asian cuisine doesn't exist... and they wonder why I escape to Seattle whenever I get the chance. Okay, okay. Time to give PokeOno their past due credit.WHY DID I JUST FIND THIS PLACE. It's like the Chipotle of the Poke world. So maybe because it's a move down the line driven establishment it's not considered authentic, but this is the first place I'd tried poke for some strange reason. Well.. I. am. in love. I actually have since had the same style in Seattle, and this place is eons above in taste and quality. I'm currently over here drooling while waiting for yet another dinner of beans and rice to finish at camp. I really don't think any other details are required. I mean.. you go through the line, can literally add every topping, and then chow down. Also the small is plenty for a meal (not that I couldn't finish 6 bowls myself). I cannot wait to get back to Philly and swing by.

I ordered here a couple of times and it's a love and hate relationship. Sometimes I get a full bowl, next a half filled bowl, or quarter of bowl of food. Too many issues. I don't like inconsistency when it comes to my food especially when ordering online.Food is fresh and tasty with a lot of options to get a nice filling poke bowl but instead it's more rice than anything. So I found another place to satisfy my taste buds.

I've come here a few times. It's a standard poke joint for Philly. I find their prices slightly inflated. The bowls are slightly meager on the fish portioning. That said, I've always found the fish to be fresh and mostly tasteless (a good thing for sashimi). They do have a nice selection of toppings for the bowls. None of it really blows me away. But if you're looking for fresh poke bowls on the Mainline, you won't go wrong with PokeOno.

I've recently just been introduced to the wonderful world of poke, and my first stop at Pokeono was a success! For poke newbs like me poke is essentially deconstructed sushi in a bowl. PokeOno has lots of delicious combos but I think the best is the build your own bowl. I have found that I like the shrimp the best, since apparently I can only handle raw fish in extremely thinly cut slices and not chunks. I ordered the build your own shrimp bowl twice and both times felt that they definitely didn't skimp on the shrimp as other reviewers felt. Some delicious additions to my bowl that I would recommend, definitely the mango and avocado. Seaweed salad and kimchi radishes were fabulous too. I would recommend dousing your bowl in soy sauce, sriracha or whatever else you have on hand, as my only complaint is that without this it can be a little dry for my taste. But I am definitely a poke fan!

I always passed by PokeOno and thought it looked good, but I never actually went. Today, I decided to go for the first time. I parked in the bag where they have metered parking. I than entered though the back door and went down a long hallway to reach the counter. When I got to the counter I was not greeted by anybody and I only one guy was working. Eventually, after a few minutes a girl came out of the back to help me. I went with a bowl made up of tuna, shoyu sauce, cucumbers, edamame and wonton crunches. I got it very quickly and it came out looking pretty with everything looking nice and fresh.Than, I got a seat outside and began eating it. While I thought she put too much shoyu sauce on, I was wrong. I could barely taste it resulting in the tuna tasting almost flavorless. The veggies and wonton crisps were pretty good. The store actually lacked in a variety of drinks. Altogether, I had a bit of an above average experience.

Operates much like any other like establishment: pick a base (greens, white rice, brown rice), one of four sauces to marinate your protein (tuna, salmon, tofu, cooked shrimp), and unlimited toppings (except extra $1 for avocado or mango). The regular bowl (~$9) was smaller than other poke places. One highlight here was flexibility: they were willing to split the base between greens, white rice, and brown rice, to split the protein multiple ways, and to give extra toppings.Unfortunately, the interior is small and a bit depressing: there are a few tables, mostly two-person, with dim lighting and a *scenic* view of the street.

So so bad. I never had such a bad experience. I normally don't write review, but it was so bad, I felt I need to let others know.I tried them through TooGoodToGo and bought 3 deal for each of the family members. They gave me 6 bowls of white rice for my 3 orders. Seriously? Plain rice? What kind of food quality is that? I don't mind little bit of food but at least put something in the bowl besides plain rice. If they don't even plan to stand by at a minimum some kind of standard to their food, then I don't think they should be offering the deal at all. Why would I need to go there to try their white rice when I can cook my own? It's beyond ridiculous. Needless to say, I didn't care to pick up my orders. I will never try them again and I will spread the words to my clients, neighbors, friends, and anyone I know about how bad this place is.
