Poke In The Bowl

I ordered a regular bowl and got salmon + spicy tuna for my 2 proteins and seaweed salad + spicy crabmeat for my 2 sides. You're able to get as many mix-ins and toppings as you want! Overall, the bowl was good, but they give very little portions for the protein. I felt like I had to eat the fish sparingly because there just wasn't enough for each bite. Additionally, the container was relatively small, so I had a hard time mixing everything together without spilling some. Employees are very friendly and service is fast!

Delicious. Great portion sizes (huge scoops of each protein and avocado). Everything very fresh. Amazing flavor. Lots of options. Fast and friendly service. Restaurant clean. Reasonable prices.

Nothing special, I'd say it's about the same or a little worse than an average poke place in Houston. Rice is pretty dry and cold, and toppings are just okay. The thing that annoyed me the most about this place was the portion sizes. Paid for a large bowl which was supposed to have 3 proteins and I could barely find them. I got exactly 6 tiny cubes of salmon and albacore each. And for some reason the albacore was cooked?? It was dry and hard. They never disclose that on their website, and I was under the assumption it was supposed to be raw since I'm ordering poke. I would avoid this place. Pokeinn or pokeworks are better value for your money.

I am a fan of poke so while in the Houston Medical Center I was delighted to see this restaurant. It's a great addition to what's offered in the area and much needed. I did the, "build your own" deal with 2 proteins. They have a regular sized bowl and a large bowl as well. The regular size was a good amount for me, I had a little leftover that I ate for dinner that same night. The ingredients were all fresh and service was organized and quick. They also have coupons that they give you to use as you return. The prices are comparable to other poke restaurants in the Houston area. Quiet place, Ample seating available indoors, small outdoor seating area, not ideal for parking- as is the norm for everything in the medical center!!!

I was impressed with this poke spot. They give a good amount of food for the price considering the location. I all tasted fresh, and our family enjoyed it. We fed 3 adults and 2 kids with 2 large bowls. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. I would stop by again.

I was so surprised with the food and the price here. It had a good amount of protein and the base. They also have discount in the specific time, which makes me like them more. One bowl will cost you around $12 to $14. They also have many sauces to go with your bowl. The staffs are friendly and patient taking your order. The store is clean and has plenty of space.

Poke in the Bowl is a great option for a fresh and fast weekday lunch. Ordering pickup was simple, and I was surprised by the diversity of options. With plenty of vegetarian selections, I settled on a white rice bowl with tofu and various assorted toppings. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially when paired with ample lashings of spicy mayo and ponzu.

This bowl was a slight bit too spicy for me. I wish there was more sauce in the bowl. Unfortunately I ordered on door dash and it wasn't the best balanced bowl bc it was overly spiced. Overall, the cooked tuna and shrimp were delicious!

For medical center food option this place is considered good. Always packed for lunch. Price range is $13-$15 Service is OK
