Legit sushi and ramen with affordable prices for lunchtime in the downtown area!I came on a Monday during lunch hours for the first time and though it was pretty empty, it did not deter me from ordering and dining at the restaurant. The space was open and clean. There was fast and friendly service at the counter and they deliver the food to your table.I ordered the Roasted Pork Ramen (yummy broth!) and 3 Sushi Rolls (Yellowtail Scallion, Salmon Avocado, and Eel Avocado) and enjoyed every single bite. Many people now work from home or have a hybrid schedule , so I am happy to support these local businesses downtown, like this one again.

Used UberEats to try this place, and was shocked at how tiny the shrimp shumai was when I opened the to go box. Misleading to say the least, the photo of the shumai on their appetizer menu photo resembles nothing of what I got. I was imagining dim sum size shrimp shumai, and what I got were mini fake-shrimp-pai lol...they are tiny, so it should be called mini. Got the spicy tuna roll. Rice is dry and the spicy is not spicy at all. The spicy tuna is Definitely not fresh....tuna tasted ground up with no flavor...I will prob give this place another try and try their higher priced items but I guess you get what you pay for!

Ordering online is super easy and they are quick to have your order ready. Sushi is fine. Worst miso soup I've ever tried though, absolutely no flavor

Build your own pole bowl is a great deal. One protein (small) is ten bucks, two proteins is twelve. There is also a 3 protein option. There are many options to choose from for the build-your-own. I like the brown rice, baby octopus, scallops, Kani salad, masago, and seaweed salad. You can also choose from a few different predefined combinations. My buddy Vik didn't care for the flavor of the octopus too much, but he did get his with greens. For me, the sauce and rice seem to blend well with the proteins.Preorder on the company's website and they offer 10% off.

They changed their containers to a bio-degradable fiber material, which is a thumbs up for me.We got there at 9:50, which was a little early as they were still prepping their kitchen for poke. They told us that they'd be ready at 10:00 am and we didn't mind because all the pokes spots within a 5 mile radius open at 11:00am.As for the food, the presentation of the bowl was nice and colorful. The taste of poke was very good as well. Although it's no where similar to Hawaiian poke, it was delightful to eat. It was early and I didn't feel like using my brain so I just went with combo bowl vs. build your own. I ordered the "Rain of Fire Poke" and boy was it delicious. I would definitely come again.

To sum up: overpriced, feels stingy, but the ingredients were at least fresh. Is relying on a captive crowd to draw business. The details: poke is a welcome addition to this part of downtown and I was excited to try it. The additional sushi and ramen offerings are also a nice touch. Unfortunately this poke experience was pretty sad. It started out with my salad mix. My server started dumping a mystery dressing on it without asking. I didn't want it, so I had to stop her and start again. Next, as mentioned by someone else, one protein gets you one tiny scoop. I chose tuna, which was fresh enough. But the portion was small so I asked for shrimp. (Spicy tuna looked like cat food). Got three pieces of shrimp. This wasn't mixed in a bowl with sauce, like many other places do. Just dumped on the top. Next was toppings. They limit you to three, so I got tomato, cucumber, and mango. I would have liked more, perhaps some edamame, but nope, you get three. Next was the smaller toppings. I got green onion, a pinch of sesame seeds , and some sunflower seeds. Once again, three is the limit. Want toasted onion? Nori? Nope! Three it is. I added a scoop of avocado mush too, for an extra cost.Sauces were drizzled on the top.Overall, I had a decent lunch. but this place is definitely the worst poke in the area. Limiting simple toppings is ridiculous, and turns a fun experience of creating a meal into an uncomfortable one. I'm sure I'll land here again but I hope it's after they change their ways.

I had an order delivered this afternoon and I feel like I was robbed. The poke was sloppy, didn't taste fresh and was just poor in quality. The wonton soup? I've had better from the freezer section of a supermarket. Terrible, too thick cut fish with their sushi is a clear indicator that whomever prepared the dish has no idea what they're doing. This is just bad food. Avoid

Poke fresh...Meh 3 star review for now...I may have to do some more research! I never expect much out of downtown Houston lunch sushi, but this place looked clean and inviting. I walked inside and suddenly realized I should've done some research before waltzing in unequipped to order! I stared at the lengthy screen, the lady behind the counter asked twice "can i help you" before I could read the first few items...the place is setup to pick out items for bowls (picture subway style) and that stuff all looked very fresh and wonderful, but i wasnt prepared so my default sushi answer came out instead. I ordered the volcano roll (shrimp tempura with crab topping) and some pan fried gyoza. The dumplings were pretty good, filling was nice...the roll looked good, but was pretty skinny in girth and it was somewhat fishy tasting. I'd like to go back and have a bowl made, but I'd suggest looking at a Menu and getting more familiar with things before wandering in
