Experience modern art deco at The Maven Hotel's bar, with a full bar and bright atmosphere. Service was slow despite few customers, but Sunday's psychedelic night with a DJ offers a unique experience, especially when wearing a favorite band t-shirt for complimentary fried mushrooms.

Ahhh so happy I finally got to check out Poka Lola! Apparently it's been around for a LONG time. Located in the Dairy Block district, my partner and I visited for a few cocktails before having dinner at Brutø. Their summer sippers menu was live, and I loved how everything sounded. Also appreciate when bars have fancy NA options.I ended up getting a Birds of a Feather (Pisco, Honeydew, Creme Fraiche, Citrus) and he got a Neptune (Gin, Blueberry, House Orgeat, Allspice). My drink was served in an adorable flamingo cup that made it hard to tell how much was left. They were also busy that day with a private event, but I'm definitely coming back to experience future themes!

Great place for drinks and night cap. I had the Pineapple Under the Sea drink. And my second drink was a Hot Summer Swirl. Both were good but I like the summer swirl more bc it was sweeter. The under the sea drink had a Smokey after taste.

Spooky season is upon us, and Poka Lola's bartenders have been mixing up potions & spells to create seasonal cocktails as they transform into Poka Muah Ha Ha for October! The Poka Muah Ha Ha menu offers a variety of seasonal cocktails and non-alcoholic options.Barbossa's Curse was my favorite cocktail of the night - it was made with Zacapa 23, Coconut cream, & Banana. Release the kraken! Barbossa's Curse was delicious, tropical and the presentation in the glowing skull was spot on with spookiness. The Nightmare on Blake Street was made with Pear-cranberry shrub, Citrus, & soda - a boo-ze free beverage for anyone looking for a non-alcoholic option. This cocktail was nice and refreshing. The Poison Apple Shot was made with El Jimador, Green apple, & smoke - one sip and all your dreams will come true...or will they? (cue evil queen laughter because this shot was strong). The 'Til Death was made with pink peppercorn-infused Ketel One, Rose tea, & citrus - for the lovers. (such a pretty drink). For snacks we had Pulled Pork Sliders, Fries, & a Charcuterie Board. The Pulled Pork Sliders were our favorites - saucy, spicy, & juicy with nice tang from the pickles.

Stopped by poka Lola late afternoon on a Sunday for their psychedelic Sunday themed night. It was posted as 4-9pm, but we were there until around 6ish and they were just starting to set up the music. I wish we could have enjoyed the jams, but know next time to go later in the evening I guess. Their outdoor patio is super comfortable and it was great just sitting out. The drinks, food, and service were great. The dark side of the moon is the green drink pictured, made with mezcal. The tea looking cocktail is the House in the tall grass, made with gin. & the drink with glitter in it is the In Rainbows drink, made with rum. I'm not sure if these are batch cocktails or not, but they were pretty good. You get free fried mushrooms if you wear a band tee on Sunday nights, and they were delish.

A great spot that has a classier atmosphere feel than the rest of the 'Milk Bar". A fun selection of featured alcoholic drinks. Staff was really friendly and will make you feel welcome and classy. A really cool spot in this area. The outdoor seating is perfect for hot Denver nights!

A great place to have a night cap! Located in the milk market- you can make a whole night out of it at the milk market by grabbing dinner and then ending the night here. My go to drink is their espresso martinis! But they also have great cocktail choices. It can often get crowded due to wedding ending the night here but bartenders are quick. Another reason we keep going back is due to the live music they play, most of the times playing very late! The music is great and gets everyone excited to the point that my friend hired them for her wedding!

Amazing service & great vibes with - DJ on friday night. The drinks were phenomenal and the inside was so classy.A lot of foot traffic on dairy block and being on the ground floor of a hotel. Beware the bathroom isn't connect and you have to go down a flight of stairs to get there!!Overall great vibes, would definitely go back :)

My favorite place at the milk market. I have been here several times just for a drink and listen to live music. Definitely will go back. Nice and clean bar and the noise level is acceptable. Service is all right.

Gorgeous cocktail bar near the Milk Market, in the lobby of the Maven Hotel. There was a large, kind of obnoxious group (wedding party?) at the bar last time we went who must have been guests at the hotel. They were loud, let their kids run around, and we had to wait a minute to be served. Other than that, our experience was flawless. The bartender had superb recommendations and made us some great drinks! My favorite thing about Poka Lola is that they have some of the only non-alcoholic cocktails that can stand as good drinks in their own right, not just as good copies of alcoholic cocktails. Try the Moonlight Sonata, which includes ube and pineapple with a hint of lemony thyme--it's not too sweet and just the perfect texture! Poka Lola would be my choice if anyone in your party is seeking good NA options! (The cocktails are good as well.)
