This place is so adorable! I would to come here with a big group so I can sit at one of the pods. Great design and a lot of interesting things to look at. All the food was amazing! I would love to try more of their sushi next time I visit Philly. The tuna fat belly was simple but great quality fish. The Tokyo potatoes are delicious with the sauce. It has some mochi flour in it so it has a nice texture and chew to it. The noodles have so much flavor to them. I took the broth home and ate it over some more noodles. Our server was super informative and helped us make a decision from the extensive menu. Definitely recommend , options for everyone to eat

Ordered Tuna Tataki with mushroom miso soup, sesame soba, seaweed salad, and chicken karaage.Seared yellowfin tuna had a great flavor, paired well with dressing and herb. 5+ I liked the amount of small mushrooms, tofu and seaweeds in the miso soup. 4+I was not satisfied with the seaweeds in the salad, since cucumbers with a hint of vinegar did not fully eliminate the fish smell. 2+The sesame dressing was too much for the soba. 1+Chicken karaage, named as 'JFC', was not bad but didn't like the size and less-crispy(too much breaded) skin. 2+I would recommend sushi and Tataki rather than other sub menus. I am not sure if the food and the pop-art inspired interiors, even though it is a subjective matter, work well together, either.

I really wish I liked Pod but compared to other similar restaurants, the items are pricier and don't really stand out. It's good but just not great.

I liked Pod! We came here for Happy Hour, so I can really only speak to that experience.Right off the bat, I noticed that the service was pretty good and the servers were attentive with filling up our water and checking in on us. I got the Green Lite to drink and the cucumber avocado rolls. I liked the rolls and felt that the avocado was fresh and creamy, and the Green Lite was also pretty delicious (I'm not sure how much alcohol was really in it though). My friends ordered the Tokyo Potatoes, so I was able to try those too and thought they were pretty unique and good. I would come back here for happy hour!

This was a great light lunch! The inside is super cute. Very spacious but also extremely cozy all in one. The food is A1! The rolls are such a nice size. The server Kayla not only a very welcoming person but she was so hospitable and had great service! The manager I believe is name is Drew was socializing with another table causally when we walked in and stood at the hostess stand. We waited for about 4 minutes standing at the hostess stand without realizing they close at 3 before opening for dinner. It was about 2:40 as we stood there while we watched him chat with another table without a peep before he acknowledged us. He was very nice but the reason this isn't a 5 is because he could have at least said something to us while we stood starting to wonder what to do. As we are leaving he also didn't say a word to us. All very interesting being he's a manager. I wonder how many other patrons have had an experience and didn't say anything or it would not go anywhere because he's the manager lol. Great food! Great ambiance! Great server service!

I only found this place because I was in search of crab fried rice! When I say its a must try, believe me! I haven't got the chance to eat inside yet but the bright bold colors and open faced kitchen definitely has this place on my bucket list! I've never had to wait when ordering pick-up. Myorder has always been ready on time if not before.

Kpod is not very good and I do not recommend eating here. We just order six items for take out and nothing was palatable. 1. Chilean Sea bass rolls (3 pieces) - way too fishy and not many other flavors, if any at all. This was pretty bad. It's like they either used bad CSB or something that's not CSB and charged same price. It was fishy and salty and was pretty gag reflex inducing.2. Surf and turf roll (6 pieces) - straight up salt lick. I still have crystals of salt stuck in my teeth mind gums as we speak. First time we did not like a wagyu meal. Cold, salty, wagyu.3. Pork gyoza - one of my least favorite gyozas I ever had. The sauce is not that good, very heavily soy sauce based. Usually you taste combo of black vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, etc. But here it's just salty soy sauce. 4. Chicken Karage - fatty, gristly, strange after taste5. Short rib robata - salt lick. Again, I just mined out a grain of Himalayan salt Crystal out of my teeth. We couldn't eat this and gotta throw out for the campus opossums/raccoons. 6. Butter fries- only decent thing on the menuFriendly staff, terrible food. I think this was our third time, and each time got worse. We will not be returning.

Enjoyed my visit to Pod for lunch. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. We started our meal with miso soup and pork dumplings. We didn't love the miso soup but the pork dumplings were fantastic. They had a layer of crunch that was very interesting! The Sesame Chicken Crunch Salad was delicious. I really enjoyed the crispy sweet potato chips. I also loved the Jumbo Lump Crab California Rolls. You don't always find California rolls with real crab! My partner thought the salmon poke was good but nothing too special. Overall, I would like to return, especially for dinner!

Does not live up to the Steve star name. Food was good but nothing special. Service was good. Decor & atmosphere was good but again nothing special. The sushi rolls were average at best. We were able to order them off the happy hour menu, each roll is $8. I could not imagine paying full price. I wanted to order more sushi but after starting with these 2 rolls I decided not to order anymore. The rice was the best thing we ordered but another thing I couldn't not imagine paying full price for. The pork belly was good but a small serving size for the price.

Interior design was super cute and trendy. Service was a little slow - had to wait for water a few times, but friendly staff. Food was pricey for the quality and quantity of the fish. Agedashi tofu was flavorful, but the potato starch batter turned a little slimy when left in the broth for too long
