DONT LETS PICS FOOL YOU! Only rated 3 because of friendly service..NO AC, was literally sweating!! Mangonada was not it, only good thing about it was the chamoy stick in it.. literally no one in here, thought it was due to construction but probably bc it's an oven.

Finally a place that is not afraid to season the food! Really cute and comfy place with a full bar and all day breakfast everyday. They are not afraid to season the food at all including the free tortilla chips (yes it works and it's delicious). My husband and I both got different tacos and they were absolutely busting open because they were so full amazing prices for what you get!

So my order was 3 tacos; a picadillo, a barbacoa and a brisket a la mexicana; by the time I remembered to take a picture I had downed two of the three tacos. Barbacoa was clean, not fatty but still had enough godly grease in each bite that gave it that liquid burst of flavor. Picadillo ground beef was seasoned like my abuelita used to make with more of the beef coming through than potato, perfectly balanced so each ingredient had the spotlight; brisket a la mexicana--- what can I say but LORDDD jugoso, picoso y sabroso... three words you always want your Mexican food to be described as. Refried beans an arroz, on point and the agua de piña was the closer. Definitely stop by for some excellent food and service!

Welp they're closed on Mondays. Probably should update google so sad. Usually their food make me happy. But clearly not today...

The food was yum! My friend and I each got the taco platter you can mix and match any three tacos you want! I got blackened fish, brisket, and chicken tinga! All delish! My friend baby loved the beans and queso too

Just visiting Kemah for the first time and looking for good Mexican food. We were apprehensive on the location in a small strip mall, not much around, but this place was so great. Once inside, we saw it was clean, cute, friendly, and festive. Great music and service. Food was perfect!! Guacamole was perfect, margarita with fresh squeezed lime juice was perfect, tortilla chips made in house...perfect! Our meals followed suit. Kids meals and our entrees were great! Prices are reasonable. I can't believe we were the only table there. Definitely give this place a try!

The drinks were great, the food was amazing, the staff was friendly and the outside tables were a well-thought of finishing touch. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back if my travels bring me this way!

The best authentic Yucatan food around. Definitely worth fighting the 146 traffic. Relaxed environment, delicious food, friendly staff! A family favorite for us. Every single menu item is full of flavor, every time.

I want to start off by saying whenever the owner/manager isn't there, I have had excellent service each time. They bring out my chips as soon as they bring out my drinks, and I've been here at least seven times. but the two times I've been there when the owner/manager has been there, he somehow finds a way to come up and argued with with me every time About how he can't do what I want for my order lol. 1. First time he was there I just simply wanted to put Barbacoa in my quesadilla instead of chicken. I wouldn't have minded being up up charged for the better meat. but at first he started going into why they couldn't do it because they are Caribbean restaurant or whatever and that that's why they have the Birria tacos, just for me to ultimately tell him that they've already done it for me the first two times I came to the restaurant. He then goes into telling me how those people should probably be fired then and he's wondering who it was. 2. Today, I come in with a friend who's never been to the restaurant before after telling her how it's my favorite new Mexican food place. ( Chips, Salsa, Birria tacos) just for us to sit down and have the owner come up to us and start arguing with me when I ask for them to bring out my chips and salsa. He starts going into a spiel about how he wants all of his employees to start doing this this way, because they are Caribbean restaurant, etc gives a long response just to ultimately say that some people come in there and just eat chips and salsa whenever I've been to the restaurant almost 10 times now.MIND YOU, every time I've come to the restaurant I come with a friend, not by myself. I pay for the tab myself. & I always get food lol. like a quesadilla (remember the one that he wanted to argue with me about) and Birria tacos which are 15.99. and my guest normally orders food as well, so for this place to call them self a Taco and Grill, serve a majority of Mexican food, to not bring me, a loyal customer who loves their delicious food my chips immediately when I get there and ask for them and try to argue with me about it is ridiculous and unprofessional.I really hope this manager/owner learns to conduct himself and business in a more professional manner. I will give this restaurant one more try and whenever I go in, I expect to have my chips and salsa immediately after getting my drink or shortly after. Not 10 minutes later, when my food is ready.Especially if they don't charge for chips and salsa anyways. (if they did, I would not go because the prices are already a little expensive.this place is definitely worth it if you don't have to deal with the manager. I recommend the fried plantains with the green salsa it's delicious and the Birria Tacos. also delicious.

The fajitas were moist. Even when ordered to go came in separate plates. Salsa was spicy. Margarita was very good.
