This store front is deceiving. This place is poppin. So mad I waited so long to discover it.
I ask them to not add granola on the bottom. It's better that way! I go home and add extra almond butter n chia seeds

So delicious!! I got an Açaí bowl with coconut, Nutella, strawberries & granola. I wish there were cashews to choose from as a topping. My family got smoothies - they weren't raving over them but thought they were good. Service was fast. We did carry out and they keep it in the freezer until you arrive, so it was fresh and very cold!! The restaurant had good parking and was clean. Staff was helpful and kind. Definitely will go back!

Smoothie place ? Sign me up!!!! Im obsessed with playa bowls. I'm on a huge fruit kick right now so this is perfect when I'm craving something sweet but want to be healthy. This curbs my sweet tooth. Highly recommend the green bowl.

I live in philly and can say with confidence this playa bowl Wayne pa location is great. Great produce and great service. The staff is actually professional and kind. Pura vida is my favorite. Go here. Do NOT go to the philadlephia chestnut st location. Staff is rude and not on top of their game either (and won't own up to it!) and the berries suck. Taste old and rubbery. Love Wayne pa playa bowl!!!

Can't go wrong with anything on the menu at playa bowls ! I love creating my own , the acai base and coconut base our my favorite and adding peanut butter on top is always a move. The last time I went however I placed an order on the app and I got an email that it was ready , so I went up to the cashier and they told me they didn't have my order and they didn't believe me that I had actually ordered something. So I had to go back to my car and get my phone and show them the receipt. They seemed very reluctant to then make my bowl, but didn't even make it right away. I had to wait atleast 20 minutes (which was 30 min after it was supposed to be ready originally) So In conclusion the food is great but the service is not.

I love playa bowl. Its a great healthy way to kick start your day. I alsowa feel great and have a ton of energy for the day adter having a playa bowl. My only concern is they have a rewards app but with having to order ahead the staff isnt really informed on how to give credit for your points on the rewards app so ive ordered numerous bowls at this point and missing out on rewards. The app needs upgrading but in terms of the physical location and bowls they are great!

Playa Bowls is a low-guilt treat! They're high in sugar but also loaded with nutrients and healthy fats - way better than my usual brunch spot. I love their bowls, while the price is a few dollars more than your average fast-casual restaurant, you'll get much fresher REAL food that you won't get at your from an $8 sandwich shop. I had been craving Playa Bowls ever since I got back from my beach trip (wishing I was still there...sigh). I tried to visit the Newark, DE location the night before - after a 25 minute drive I pulled up to a sign on the door saying 'we are closed for maintenance'! The next morning I bumbled down to Wayne, PA for my first visit to this Playa Bowls location. They were much faster and friendlier than my usual stop down the shore, even during my 11 am visit on a Saturday... My Chila Tella bowl with vanilla vegan protein was as perfect as I could have expected. As was my girlfriend's strawberry banana smoothie which soon became 30% mine.My only frustration was that the staff was unsure how to use their own app - I showed them the QR code of my Playa Bowls rewards card, as the app says to, and the employee had no clue what to do with it. Nor did any of the other two ladies working. They took my phone number instead, and my points never showed up. Again, it's certainly not the end of the world but this is just something I would've expect them to be trained on. All in all, I have always had fairly good experiences at Playa Bowls. They're one of my favorite places to eat out, especially when I need that beach-away-from-beach vibe. Hope to go back before the end of the summer... more like the end of this week.

While another Playa Bowls is my favorite location ever for acai bowls, this spot needs some work. I pretty much live for acai bowls. I swear they have addictive properties in these wonderberries. When I'm not actively eating them I am daydreaming about them. So this is why I'm super hype to eat them and super destroyed inside when they are messed up. Playa forgot my apples. They didn't forget to charge me for my apples, and definitely repeated the work "apple" back to me when I placed my order, but alas, there were no apples. I was devastated. My bowl tasted like disappointment. I will go back because I have faith in Playa Bowls and the wonder that is the acai berry, but that doesn't mean this didn't sting.

This place is really great. So many places that make açaí bowls serve the base thin and melting. Playa Bowls does an excellent job at blending their bases to make them thick, smooth, and icy. It didn't melt at all!I tried the Pura Vida bowl with banana slices added and the Tropical bowl. Both were awesome and best I've had outside of California. Can't wait to go back and try more.
