It's really confusing to find, it's in a gas station and it's not even labeled with a sign or anything because it shares a location with a Mexican joint, HOWEVER This is a really unique find for the vegan scene in Houston! Me and my BF tried the Jackfruit tacos, The Banana Blossom Tacos and the Jack Snack sliders! The jackfruit tacos were okay but a little bland, but I really really loved the banana blossom tacos! I'd describe it as like a fried fish taco! ( my bf didn't like it but I did!) The jack snack sliders were delivered and very juicy! The tomato served with it really seals the flavor perfectly! I wish this place the best of luck because I really enjoyed my food! If you wanna see a video featuring this meal check out my socials : 0w0nanikore

I have a habit of asking people "if this was your last meal on earth, what would you get?" The response is usually what I get and I enjoy it. That was not the case here. The response I received was the spicy vegan chicken sandwich with fries... or whatever. I made a mistake. I'm vegan and I appreciate the effort but you know when you go to the store and buy some cookies and pass those cookies off as home baked for those not in the know? This feels like that. I may amend this review after I finish this sandwich but perhaps I should've ordered something else. The fries are really soft. Fries = fried unless otherwise noted. What happened here? I also ordered a detox juice based on a recommendation which they ended up not having and then ordered a smoothie. I never heard a blender run. Not saying it didn't, just saying I didn't hear it. Mmm. Thick. To be fair, I'm visiting so I may not get another chance to try it again but overall the meal was edible just not delicious.

To go/pick up Food Truck Travel the world without leaving Houston with classic "meat" dishes with a vegan spin.Philly Cheese Steak? Check!Chicken sandwich? Right here!Shawarma? Get in my belly!Jackfruit brisket? Where have you been all my life?Poboy? I'll take two! The food is well seasoned, (and that's such a rarity when you eat out, you don't even know...!!!)Good sized portions, three locations to choose from. You don't have to be a vegan to enjoy plant based eating: fast, reasonable, delicious AND healthy aren't mutually exclusive. Try it.

15/10 rating. It was a lifesaver in HTX as a vegan & extremely tasty. Will definitely be a regular everytime I come down.

I really don't know what to say. First time trying since i heard about them when they first opened and it wasn't pleasant.1st error: I ordered the Mars Chilli and got the Mars Monster Sandwich which instead. Now that might not seem bad to someone else since I accidentally received an entree instead of just the chilli (the chilli is on the burger) but I DONT EVEN EAT IMITATION BURGER PATTIES! Now i have to hope my non vegan family member will eat it.2nd error: The fries in both meals were soggy as if they were undercooked.3rd error: The chicken taco was underwhelming. It's like the corn tortillas were warmed instead of being put on a flat top grill to actually cook. The flavor was lacking also; idk why it couldn't just be marinated chikn, onions, cilantro and salsa. Smh4th error: The Not so Italian Sandwich meat was tough and i couldnt taste anything but bread, oil and gardinera (olives mostly)I might try next month or later again to try and get something again from here but it won't be a priority when you have Halal Guys and Houston Sauce Pit nearby. I hate i had to leave this negative review.

I got the jackfruit taco and the beyond taco for comparison. I honestly thought I'd like the beyond better but the jackfruit won. The bbq flavor was perfect! I also got their walnut chocolate chip cookies bc I can't seems to resist a vegan chocolate chip anything apparently. I was not disappointed. It was delicious and soft.

Really good food. The brisket platter was a deal at 13 dollars compared to some of their other competitors nearby. The faux brisket was a little spongy and most of the taste came from the sweet BBQ sauce. The mac and cheese was amazing, one of the better vegan ones I've tried in that it taste very close to dairy kind without any funky taste from its seasoning or lingering dairy aftertaste. The greens were all right. Somewhat more bitter than the places that cook it with fatty meat, but edible.

Visiting Houston from NYC. Note this is a good truckFood: i ordered the much room poboy with a side of Mac and cheese. It tasted amazing, though very spicy I wish I would have been told it was. Also i expected much rooms to be fried since shrimp usually fried in Pinoys and it was not. But still great tasting. Service: the owner speak to you behind a screen pretty hard to see them at first. I asked for suggestions on what it order and was not very enthusiastic about providing that... Seemed kind of annoyed i didn't know what i was ordering. But i appreciated the recommended choices I ended up ordering. I am not sure about how sanitary it is in there and that made me a bit nervous to be honest. No masks or gloves worn. Even pre covid i expect ppl who cook my food to wear gloves and have some sanitary standard.Price: very reasonably priced for quality of food and amount you get. Side included i thought I'd have to pay extra. They take cardsAmbiance: food truck is in a sketchy gas station stop. I honestly had no clue it was a good truck until i got to the corner and didn't see "restaurant" and looked at maps location again and read "food truck" with picture of gas station. It's semi under a bridge on dirt patch next to gas station. So not very impressive or welcoming. A few homeless people in the area.Overall good food, truck with great potential.
