OMG.This is THE best pizza in Philly. They make mainly pizza with interesting toppings for red and white pies. Salads are also superb.

Pizza is pretty good, crust has a nice crunch/char. Quality cheese is used.But- it's wayyy too greasy for my liking and pretty expensive for some reason. For anyone wondering why their toppings are skimped it's because there is a spanish dude churning out pies as fast as humanly possibly in the back. He can't take the time to gingerly lay toppings on each pie when he's making 100's a night. I agree for the price it shouldn't be rushed but it obviously is if you observe the process on Friday night.I won't be going back but also wasn't disappointed in my $5 pepperoni slice. It took 15 minutes. All their awards displayed are from 3 years ago maybe they are resting on their laurels.

Since pizzata is in my neighborhood, I decided to give this place a try given they sell some of their pizzas per slice. The space to eat inside was limited but luckily there was enough outdoor seating (and it was a great day to eat outside). The pizza slice came out quickly. The whole slice looked like it had freshly came out of the oven with its char all over the pepperoni. The bottom of the pizza also had charred points all over. The pepperoni tasted delicious on the pizza and I loved how crispy the slice was. The crust was definitely very much thin sliced. There is a trashcan and place to put up your tray outside which was nice since I didn't have to go back inside after I was done.

We tried multiple pizzas from Pizzata today and they were all so good! We had the cheese, pepperoni, and arugula with prosciutto. The flavor of the sauce was extremely tasty and all of the toppings were extremely fresh! The crust was also perfectly crunchy and held all of the toppings well. The pizzas were picked up, so cannot comment on the inside of the restaurant. We will definitely get more pizza from here again soon!

A great NY style pizza joint to serve one of the better slices I've had in the city. Place has a good, low key but tasteful decor indoors that I liked as well as outdoor seating. Service was also good and friendly though it was a hot day and I did wish they had some ice water available.Grabbed two slices, one of cheese and the other of a sausage/pepperoni/ricotta specialty pizza with some hot honey. Both were great. Cheesy, good dough, flavorful, not too big or hard to handle. Just really good solid pizza that we all know and love. With a diet coke and some chili flakes, what more could ya want. 5/5 do attend

I ordered a sopressa pizza from Pizzata on national pizza day. It's described as having "Red sauce, EVOO, soppressata, mozzarella, parmesan cheese, arugula". It was delivered to me still hot. It was delicious. The crust is crisp, with little flop. I devoured half of it quickly and saved the other half for tomorrow. But a pizza should not have arugula on it. A different ingredient would have taken it over the top. I'll definitely try more pizza from Pizzata. I was happy with my choice for national pizza day.

Very high quality sourdough pizzas here. The thing that stood out to me were the thoughtful, well crafted specialty pizzas. Highly suggest trying out the sausage/pepperoni/hot honey pizza. Pizarra is a great option for the $20/25 take out price point. Inside is a cute little dining room with a few tables, but most people do takeout here from what I've seen. Super friendly staff. Word to the wise-call in your order and they will have it ready in 15/20 min. Using external apps can be more expensive and takes longer. Give them a try! And try something fun on their very well thought out menu! Highly recommend.

We were walking in the Rittenhouse neighborhood and wanted a slice......look no further.I lived in the area for a year and somehow never heard of Pizzata - it's been open for a few years and appears to already have a following. I believe they recently began selling slices. I got a plain cheese slice - it was delicious. Thin, tasty, crispy crust....and a very good red sauce. If you live in the neighborhood....or not, it's worth a visit.

Had this place back when they first opened. Everyone were ranting and raving about how good the pizza was my wife and I didn't think so. Fast forward to today June of 2024 we figured we'd try them again since they still get rave reviews. This second time will be the last time. The pizza has no flavor. We ordered delivery, pizza was extremely overcooked. If they put cheese on there it must've been a sprinkle. Could've easily been a tomato pie. Places like Wood Street pizza and doughhead pizza are leaps and bounds better than this place. People love it but I'd never order hear again.

Yummy pizza, seating outside in the shade. Overall great experience! Only thing is if you want to eat there it's not a lot of seating so if just be aware if you're coming in a big group. Other then that, super super good!
