Pita Xpress Mediterranean Grill

Delicious and abundant kosher food. The folks that work there are great and are always friendly. Things happen fast there so you need to know what you want by the time you get to the counter.

Ate here on Christmas Day. We were expecting them to be backed up but they were so prompt and friendly. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes. The vibe is definitely more on the fast casual side but the food was quality! I got the chicken shawarma which was so huge I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. We also got a burger which was super juicy and delicious. Convenient location right near the FLL airport. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a meal before or after their flight. Lots of seating available inside and outside.

Service and food is always excellent anytime I have visited this establishment. All the staff are very knowledgeable about their ingredients as it relates to specific dietary needs. I am vegan and can always get a tasty meal here. I have dined with some non-veg friends and they love the food here too. Highly recommend this spot!!

I was in the area doing some errands and thought this place is a just quick grab and go sandwich type of place. No, it was much more than that. It gives a very casual, fast food joint kind of appearance but the food is super authentic and give a run for major restaurants. It appeals to the core foodies and picky eaters alike. I ordered their Sabich sandwich. I never tried Sabich before and I know it is an authentic dish. I was also in the mood for vegetarian food that day. Omg, it turned out to be DELICIOUS. It has so many ingredients but the star of them was the thin wafery slices of eggplant. I know many people hate eggplant due to its mushiness. If you are one of those, this place wouldnt disappoint you. Because the slices were thin and soft but neither crispy nor mushy. You have the option of adding their hot sauce (which I did) and it was really good. They also have a salad bar that is complimentary. I loved the spicy chickpeas, pickled beets and the thin fried bread sticks (a must try). The portions were decent, price was reasonable and a big parking lot right in front. Checks on all fronts!!

Skipped breakfast and a road stop snack looking forward to trying Pita Xpress for the first time today. The food and service was sure worth the wait! Staff and management are courteous, friendly and professional. The dining area is spacious and roomy for up to large parties. Very clean interior and bright. Soothing and relaxing Mediterranean melodies can be heard from the dining room speakers. The best part of this experience was the food I ordered. The falafel platter is fresh and very flavorful. A side of the Kebbe was a nice addition to help satisfy my tastebuds and my hunger. Pita was amazingly soft and delicious! I all definitely be back to try other great dishes served here!

I was really excited to try this place based on the reviews. I was extremely disappointed. The pita was extremely greasy and barely had any meat in it. I had the Jerusalem mix. Compared to pita plus this was a complete joke. The tastes and seasonings were not appetizing. It wasn't bland, just that the combination of flavors where not tasty. Overall a very bad experience. I guess I have to stick with Pita plus or Noor when I'm the area. I wouldn't recommend.

Because we are getting close to the high holy holidays, I realized that Israeli restaurants will be closed, so I thought about my food fix. My goto place is Pita Plus on Stirling road in Hollywood...but just a few blocks away is a place called Pita Express. Thought I would give it a try. Same setup where you order at the counter with a side salad bar. There were more choices than at Pita Plus, with spiced chick peas and lettuce, hot peppers, carrots, and sour pickles. For the main course I preferred a falafel sandwich and French Fries. The fries were nice and fresh but found the falafel not as tasty as at Pita Plus. I worked preferred a shawarma but there wasn't much on the spit at lunch time. I prefer Pita Plus more and will go back there the next time instead.

Great Food and Speedy Service. Very Fresh and Tasty. Very Reasonably Priced Neighborhood Fare.
