Pita Pocket in Hollywood offers an exceptional Mediterranean dining experience that leaves a lasting impression. The service is outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are always ready to offer recommendations or accommodate special requests. The ambience at Pita Pocket is warm and inviting, with a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, feels like in Turkey. The decor is beautiful as it reflect the rich cultural heritage of Turkey. Whether you're dining alone, with family, or with friends, the environment is perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.As for the food, the flavors are simply amazing. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic spices, resulting in a burst of flavor with every bite. The falafel is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the hummus is creamy and perfectly seasoned. The shawarma and kebabs are cooked to perfection, offering a delightful combination of textures and tastes. The portions are generous and can be shared ensuring you leave satisfied. Overall, Pita Pocket in Hollywood is a must-visit for anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine. The excellent service, inviting ambience, and delicious food make it a top choice for both locals and visitors.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Pita Pockets in Hollywood. Prior to the tropical storm, I was hopeful for a delicious Mediterranean meal. Unfortunately, my expectations were far from met.Service and Wait Time:I placed my order over the phone and was told it would take 15 minutes. However, I ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes for my food. This excessive wait time was a waste of my valuable time, especially considering the quality of the food that followed.Food Quality:The mixed meat platter I ordered was a major disappointment. The chicken and meat were dry, burnt, and excessively salty. The salad was drenched in an unfamiliar and unpleasant dressing. To make matters worse, I found a hair in my fries. This was a significant turn-off, and I couldn't finish my meal due to the poor quality.Price and Atmosphere:The restaurant was overpriced for the quality of food provided. I paid $31 for a meal that I couldn't even finish. The atmosphere was cramped and not particularly clean, and even though there was an impending storm. I'm pretty sure this is how the store usually looks.Tipping:I was surprised to see that the receipt asked for a tip, especially considering the poor quality of the food and service. It's unusual for a restaurant owner to directly solicit tips, especially when charging such high prices. Conclusion:While I typically enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, Pita Pockets in Hollywood fell far short of my expectations. The food was subpar, the service was slow, and the price was exorbitant. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a satisfying Mediterranean meal.

Found this place on Yelp to have lunch in. Parking is free but definitely limited. We came on a Sunday so it was easy to park. Inside is pretty big with plenty of seating. However, it's odd that in this summer heat they don't seem to have the AC on. They seem to be using fans. Not sure if it's due to the kitchen being up front or something else but it made it somewhat stuffy to eat inside. The service was neutral. The girl who took our order had trouble with my card but didn't communicate any issues so there was an awkward moment of just standing around. After we just paid with apple pay. Not sure what the issue was since I used my card elsewhere for desert right after but it's good to know they have options for payment. We ate in (hence mentioning the heat). Food takes a bit, it seems they make some of it on the spot and for a moment the same girl who took our order was the same one who got our food together. The lamb was chewy but this is most likely my fault since when asked for temperature I said well done. Everything else was delicious.I also got Tandoori chicken which came with pita and hummus, two different kinds of rice and a salad. At first I thought the place was pricy but for th4 amount of food you get it's worth it. We ended up with leftovers for later today and tomorrow.

This place is solid. I know a thing or two about Chicken Schwarma, and the platter I ordered was up there. Chicken well seasoned and tender, rice fragrant and fluffy and hummus was yummy. I am visiting from Orlando and wanted something local to eat. The place was clean and had a bit of a home feeling, definitely gave that family restaurant feeling. I was greeted and shown the digital and paper menus. The gentleman that helped me was kind and patient. It was a quick and easy transaction. My plate was made and I was on my way. I highly recommend you stop if you're in town!

Legit, Legit, Legit if you love Middle Eastern food/Mediterranean food this is your spot!*The chicken shawarma was elite, flavors were on point, fresh ingredients, and cooked to order.*The chicken and beef skewers were so, so, so good and they added thin slices of pickles which was a great touch. *The yellow rice was decent, but still good. 8.3 out of 10

Yummy fresh chicken shwarma pita. Friendly cashier that told me about the weekly specials and explained all the fresh treats they had such as the baklava. Definitely will return for lunch. Ask for extra pickles and thank me later.

Stopped by this cute little gem on my way home from the hardware store. The attendant was so friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is casual with lots of seating for indoor dining. I ordered the lamb chops dinners which as 4 lamb chops with your choice of 3 sides. I ordered hummus, pita bread and angel hair rice with almonds. The food was made to order and came out fresh. You can choose the temperature at which you want your meat. The pita bread was so fresh and was homemade. The food was delicious. My husband was too hungry and wanted to try the lamb kabobs. It was hot, flavorful and delicious. Will definitely one back again to try other dishes

Reason why I'm giving this place a 3 is because of the experience I had today not because of the food because it's amazing. But whoever the girl is that's working right now October 1st 2024 at 8PM is extremely rude. I love this place and eat here often but today this girl ruined my entire dinner that I was excited to eat. First my boyfriend calls and asks for a chicken shawarma for pickup she asks pita or sandwich we say pita pocket because that's what we ALWAYS get. We drive home look and it's a sandwich. We call and tell her that's it's not what we asked and she says "we don't have pita that's why" when we were literally at the restaurant looking at all the pita pockets around the counter and I told her I seen them and she goes "well you didn't say that maybe you said it wrong" So me and my bf drive back because how can we get a order WE WANTED WRONG ? I go there she tells me that we can keep them both and she will make one pita pocket for free . I said but we both want pita pocket and she goes okay fine we will remake. I told her she can also just reuse the meat we had in the sandwich so we don't cause extra hassle and she refused . Everything that came out of this woman's mouth was nothing but pure attitude and this is nothing I experienced from here before so I'm alittle pissed off. After the guy there makes us the pita pockets I ask her for the inconvenience can I keep those? What are you going to do throw them away ? After she initially said I could because she had them behind the register she says "I'll give them to the homeless" I said so you're willing to give them our food when we support your business? Not that I don't think that's nice but come on. And she only gives me one plate lol This was just a terrible nasty experience and I know the service is better than this but this lady whatever her name was needs to go she's miserable and hates what she does as a living clearly... if she is there or answers the phone when I go or call there again I will pass and eat somewhere else to avoid her sadly
