Glad to find a Halal spot in Denver. I won't go out of my way to eat here, but I won't mind stopping by if I'm passing in the area and need a quick sandwich.Good value for the quantity.

It took 20 minutes to get a sandwich and soup, and I was the only person there. The employees were jesting with each other. Maybe that means it was fresh, maybe that means they didn't care. The sandwich was delicious. Mayo and veggies; simply fantastic. The lentil soup was delicious, but desperate for salt. Good portions.

The food is always a treat for a nice walk away from the office. The food is delicious and it's fresh and service is quick and staff is great! Music can use an update, but honestly I am there to disconnect from it all.

The food was good. The interior is sparse. There were less people than anticipated so I was surprised. Food is made to order. The entrees looked delicious. I had a shawarma sandwich and didn't care for the pickled vegetables but that's my personal preference. Food was decent priced too for being downtown. Overall great experience

I ordered the Chicken Shawarma lunch with a Diet Coke, the checkin tasted good, however, It was checkin strips not the traditional checkin shawarma as I'm used to, garlic sauce was mild the bread was fresh.

Dropped in here very late one night after work. One of the few places still open after 11pm. Not a lot of traffic that late at night, we got right in. It is counter service, place was clean very quiet that late at night, the guys behind the counter were super polite and nice. We had the gyro sandwich combo and the gyro platter. Sandwich came with a truckload of fries, whereas the platter had all the tasty sides of hummus, rice, tzatziki, pita and gyro meat. Everything was prepared well, overall flavor would be what I considered average but good. It is good enough to earn a return trip at this very late night halal eatery. Only draw back is at this location very late at night next to the civic center, there are a number of people who will hit you up for money or food. After all it is the 16th Street Mall downtown, take a friend with you for company and you'll be fine.

Had the chicken schwarma lunch plate. Really delicious. The pita was hot and fresh, the chicken well-seasoned. Fresh vegetables too. A great lunch spot

This place is good. Got the gyros which was cooked and sauced perfectly. The place has possibilities to get real popular. A few things are holding it back. 1. Cleanliness. The dining area needs a good scrub. The surfaces of the wall/railing thing whatever you call it and the tables need deep clean. Defiantly soiled from a lot of use. 2. Music. Place needs some background music. It's a cool spot, no frills dining room but needs some music playing so it's not drop dead silent on quiet times. That's it. Food is good. Recommend you try it.

I wish this restaurant was in my neighborhood so that whenever I get a craving for a really good and fast Syrian/Middle eastern food, I'd be able to rush to it and get it. This place is/was one of the most authentic Syrian restaurants I've ever been to. Although the restaurant itself recognizes it as a fast food restaurant, it's waaay more than that in my opinion. People who live and work downtown are so lucky to have it within their neighborhood; I guess I'm jealous!!My Veggie Combo plate - when I picked it up from the ordering counter when it was ready - was quite the weight. I knew at the moment that the price I paid for was well worth it. And as I opened the container my face started glowing like the sun! It was absolutely beautiful!I was only be able to eat 1/3 of it (am I complaining?) I saved the rest for dinner but I still couldn't finish it (at dinner later that day) so the rest of it (the last 1/3) will be my breakfast for tomorrow for sure!A huge tray that contained squares of baklava (at the register) looked enticing; I got tantalized! I'll definitely get one next time.

This is a zero star review. Service at the counter was good. (There is no table service.) Open late. There is no ambiance. The dining area was dirty. The dining room was dilapidated.I got the Gyro sandwich. It cost $10.The meat portion was generous, but the meat was only warm, and the same temperature as the veggies. The pita was slightly warmer and pretty good. Bathroom in a maze and you ned a key; dirty, graffiti, smells of pee. All the above would have gotten more than zero stars, but the reason it gets zero stars is instead of cucumbers and onions in the sandwich, they use a julienne of dill pickle. Never, ever, in my life, a dill pickle in a gyro. Avoid.
