Pita & Kabobz

Ordered the chicken biryani for delivery without reading the reviews. Big mistake. Paid a good chunk of money for this item and it was digusting. I always expect hot spices with any dish ordered from an Indian/similiar restaurant, but this was unnecessarily spicy. The chicken quality was no good and the dish reminded me of leftovers that had been in the fridge for days. Ate a few spoonfuls, had my husband try it to make sure it wasn't just me ( it sure wasn't) and threw the entire thing in the trash. Gross

My husband and I came in for a quick bite to eat. We did not take any pictures because unfortunately I left my phone in the car.The food we had was really good I had the Shish Kabob Sandwich, it came with two 10" kabobs that were made out of Halal ground beef, it was nice and spicy and full of flavor. A quarter of my plate was lettuce with raw onion (which I really love to eat on my sandwiches). There wereAlso two pieces of naan that wereboth about the same size as the plate. My husband had the Butter Chicken and he says it was good and unlike any other Butter Chicken he has tried in the past (other places make it with more of a tomato flavor). It also came with rice (he could choose rice or naan) The Shish Kabob meal includes rice or naan on the menu... but she told us that there is a separate charge for this. She said prices for Halal meat have gone up. She did not charge us this time but will next time and instead of $8.99 for the Shish Kabob meal, we were charged $9.99 which is not a big deal. They also automatically add a 15% gratuity charge to the bill. I have seen a charge like this at other restaurants for large groups but never just for me and my husband. If they don't include the naan or the rice I don't think it would be very filling, I would rather see them have an updated menu with the correct (increased) pricing which includes naan or rice. If this is not an option, at least tell us when we are ordering.If you plan on dining here I suggest asking for pricing if your paying with cash to make sure you have enough money with you.Other then that, we will be back!

The service has gone down immensely. They have new management that doesn't seem to care about business. Whenever we call to place a take out order, they're always out of everything but the chicken 65, which they constantly push on you. The other manager, the lady, was much more professional. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant anymore.

I ordered Chicken Biryani and got plan flavored rice with no chicken (not even a piece chicken). I used to go to them regular before I moved to other side of Schaumburg not sure what happened with my order yesterday. Not sure ownership changedAnyways in this tough times everyone needs a second chance I will try again with this place, giving them 2 star

Got a Chicken Biryani for TO-GO and was totally stumped, not at all happy! The rice was over cooked and has become mushy when we opened the box! Ordered it to be spicy, but it wasn't up-to the mark whatsoever is expected from an Indo-Pak restaurant! Heard good talk on this food joint from one of my friends, but didn't actually hit the mark! May be it's just one of those bad days! Will give a try one last time before I can update the review!

0 stars if I could. (1) My order was wrong and all of the chicken had bone in it. (2) The chicken curry I got was EXTREMELY oily - there was an inch of oil separated on the top when I got it. (3) The biryani was mostly white rice, not seasoned properly, and even contained a piece of cassia bark the length and width of my half my hand. (4) Everything was tremendously salty, even for Indian food. Also I have to now deal with getting charged twice. This place is sketchy in business practices and in their ingredients. I have deep, deep regrets about going to this place and spending any of my hard-earned money here. Stay far, far away.

Delicious food, good price, best customer service is worth going there over and over. Mouth watering authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. Tea tops everything.

I ordered the mutton biryani and garlic naan. It was absolutely delicious. The service was welcoming. I definitely plan to return and would recommend!

Had one of the best mutton biryani,I don't know how they do it but the mutton is not offensive at all, well balanced spices tender lamb. If you like lamb this is for you!!!

The lady was too greedy, she charges more and when asked she will refund half of it. The chicken biriyani is not tasty at all. The plates were not clean.
