Busy place, which is a good indication. The service was okay. The workers have a lot to contend with, but even though they're swamped they still managed a smile and a thank you. Fries are great. The bet brisket sandwich was to die for.

It was clean inside and the servers were nice and efficient. Did a to go order, got the two meat plate with fatty brisket and pork ribs. The brisket was PERFECT! Super flavorful, beyond juicy and tender, I ate it with no sauce and didn't miss it!! The ribs were the same, incredibly moist but I did like the sauce on it. My only gripe are the sides - potato salad the potatoes were undercooked for my preference. The Mac and cheese isn't gooey or anything, it was a little dry and bland. Would def come back for the ribs and brisket - would make my own sides probably!

This place was hopping! Arrived around 12:30 and the place was packed. The line to order moved quickly, and food was coming out fast! I ordered the three meats but was disappointed to find out they were all out of ribs! Before we left, they apparently ran out of chopped chicken, also.My husband really like the burger with brisket on it. I thought all three meats were flavorful, and the brisket was moist! I didn't get to taste the bbq sauce until we were about to leave. I tasted the mild one and it was good, but a bit watery (not thick like a normal bbq sauce). I also liked the collards. The Mac and cheese was not very good (lacked flavor and the cheese was a bit grainy). The bathrooms were very clean!Overall, it was a good experience, the food was good, and the portions were good for the price. We left with leftovers from my meal. Definitely recommend you try this place!! :-)

Some days Pit boss has good meaty ribs and some days they have slim trim ribs. I always get the half of slab with baked beans. The baked beans are good. The food and service is pretty good. It's most definitely be packed during lunch time but they move pretty quickly. They have special during each day of the week which is great.

Pit Boss Redux!Whenever I'm a close and able I stop here. I am sad they moved across the street. The old place had the atmosphere and reminded me of barbecue joints of old. Moving across the street didn't change the food. It is still excellent. The full spare ribs are Smokey and fall off the bone tender. The mustard based potato salad was tasty, the cornbread yummy and the collard greens excellent. The service was spot on. Warnette at the bar will treat you right. Oh and unless you are a professional eater you will probably waddle away very full. The new decor is modern industrial it's clean and bright but man I miss that old spot for ambience. The new placating does have better parking. If your traveling 85 South near the airport from or to Atlanta get off at exit 75 you wont regret it.

On yesterday I was so hungry for bbq. First place came to mind was Pit Boss in Hapeville. It was crowded as always ( which she be a good sign) I didn't have to wait long either. I order 1/2 rack of ribs baked beans and coleslaw. The food was horrible. The ribs was so hard and burnt we couldn't even chew and swallow. The beans was bland and I think they bought kfc's Coleslaw for the day. Not good. The so call corn bread was a brick with no taste. I spent $32.00 and it was a waste... what happened? They use to be sooo good. The service was a 10. Food a 1. And I'm being generous. Again this is the first time I was disappointed and dissatisfied.

Quick Atlanta airport layover, searched for best BBQ spot near the airport.Located just 5 mins away in a big corner lot. Lots of parking and roomy interior. Has full bar on one side.Brisket. Kind of dry but good Smokey flavor. I just wished it was less overcooked and a little fattier.Spare Rib Bones, once again great smoke flavor, some sections were juicy and fatty but the end tips were dry.Smoked Wings, pleasant surprise, awesome smoke and flavor, some were juicy and some were dry.The Pit Boss mild and Hot sauces were both on point! Slightly sweet, tangy, savory and delicious great heat!Pro tip: combine hot bbq sauce with the ranch, delicious savory creaminess! The sides were good too, Cole slaw and potato salad.Service is friendly and fast.Overall great flavor, prices are not cheap but reasonable, just wished their quality control on cooking time could be better.

First time in college park and was craving some southern bbq. Our family went here cause of the great reviews we read and we weren't disappointed at all. We ordered a lb of brisket, full rack of baby back, a lb of rib tips, 10 wings, loaded fries, a large Cole slaw and collard greens. It was a lot of food and it all cost around $150. The service was quick we picked our table and they brought us trays and within 10 minutes our food arrived. The best was the brisket so soft and moist we should have ordered more, rib tips crunchy cartilage!, the smoked wings very flavorful and the collard greens. The worse was the baby back ribs it was so dry! All in all it was a decent bbq experience hit the spot and satisfied the craving.

Wow! It's a Tuesday night and this place is super busy and for good reason. They have a pretty cool, down to earth atmosphere with an exhaustive selection of menu servings. For a minute I thought I was in New Orleans because everyone in there was talking soooooo loud lol. I ended up ordering the 1/2 rack of baby backs that comes with a choice of Texas toast or cornbread...I chose the former. For my two sides, I got mac n cheese, baked beans and ordered large collards (need my veggies). Everything and I mean everything I got was beyond delicious. The ribs, meaty and tender, the greens nicely seasoned, the mac with cheese upon cheese was good and cheesy, the baked beans...OMG, those are ancestral baked beans because babeeee, those things are off the chain good. Lastly, for dessert, the peach cobbler....great! Not too sweet but sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. The rib tips must be very popular as they were clean out at 7pm. The meat selections coupled with the abundance of sides, you're certain to appease your appetite. Disclaimer: there are plenty of menus on Yelp already, so I'm not adding a pic of another one lol. I don't know whose big mama's recipes these are but they are a definite hit for me. Highly recommend!
