Pine Street Eats & Sweets

Felt like no one was in charge of keeping everything organized & going. We stood at hostess station for a while waiting for someone to notice us. We then sat for a while at the table. Seemed like the staff were all young girls with no direction. They waited on tables that came in after others. A table next to ours got their food, but didn't have silverware. They waited a bit to get it. We saw an owner/ manager couple ladies come out a few times, but they didn't seem to look at what was going on. Aside from all of this which was a huge turnoff, the food was AMAZING!! They just need to tighten up the service out on the floor. Loved the food, but it's hard to get past all of these service issues. I see this business hasn't claimed this page, so not sure they're interested in feedback....

Food was fantastic. Cooking an omelette in a waffle-iron is downright brilliant. This place makes their own jelly and jam, and the options will blow your mind! 4/5 for sure, and that missing star is only because the biscuits are good, but not great and at the very last minute my server got busy with another table. That's not a knock, the service was great, I just needed to pay and go quickly, and she was getting slammed at that moment.

I was thoroughly impressed by the service, flavor, and overall experience here. The staff was incredibly helpful and provided excellent recommendations. I'll definitely return.

What a hidden gem! Took a trip to the farmers market and decided to pick a breakfast spot nearby and we're so glad we gave this place a try! You really feel like you are out in a cabin on a secluded trip so they really nailed the design and ambiance. Almost forgot where we were until walking outside. We got sat right away and everyone working was very friendly. If you got coffee, then someone would come around a bit asking if you'd like a refill. The food was so yummy! Biscuit was thick and buttery. I asked to try their apple butter spread with it and they gave me more than enough of that. Delicious! Their spreads are homemade so I bet they all are good. The side of cinnamon apples was too good; they really need to be making apple pies with that. I'm a huge hashbrown casserole lover and this one lives up to my expectations. My over medium eggs were cooked perfectly which honestly is so hard to get because most places will undercook them but this place actually made my eggs the way they should be cooked. The only little critique I had was that the bacon was a bit hard but we didn't care because everything else was beyond great. We will definitely come back!

Best biscuits on this side of town. Homemade from scratch. Sandwiches are hit or miss but the biscuits make up for it.They also have a bakery at the front with all sorts of sweet treats that I have not tried yet but I'm willing to bet they're delicious. I'll definitely be back to try a breakfast plate next and sweet treat.

In my (extremely modest) opinion since growing up here, Tomball had been missing a really good breakfast joint. I've now been here twice in the last month, and I can finally say that this box has been checked. The menu has pretty good depth. The food has been fantastic. The hashbrown Casserole is magnificent. Every entree I've had has been good, and would order again. Even so, I keep wanting to try something new every time I come through. The service is consistently solid. It's a little slow, but that's to be expected in this setting. The food comes out hot, and fresh. The place is very clean, dining area, waiting room, and bathrooms included. There is street parking all around the area. There are bars and other shopping areas within walking distance. It's well situated near anything else you may want to do before or after. Give it a shot.

Had breakfast there today and it was so so. I see a number of reviews mentioning things I'm about to say but a lot of 4-5 star reviews.We both had the Mama Bear. The food was just ok but the temperature was lukewarm to room temperature! It came out really quickly and after starting to eat and the temperature being as it was we knew everything must be pre-cooked and under lamps. Which is not what we expected. It's a cute little restaurant but we won't return. The butter on our biscuits didn't even melt and the butter on our waffles barely melted on one area. That's not hot, fresh food! We were hoping we might find a new place for breakfast with good food based on most reviews and the look of the restaurant.

We decided to try them out Sunday around 11:30. The place wasn't too full, there were some empty tables but it wasn't empty. The place is very cute and looks new! We (2p) arrived after another family and were told to wait to be seated by a staff member. 5 minutes went by and neither us or the family before us had been seated. My boyfriend decided to ask another person and she sat us right away. We mentioned the other people had gotten here before us so she sat them too. I don't like egg so I asked if I could substitute the 2 eggs on the "mama bear breakfast" for anything and they said no. Most places do, I think 1 biscuit or an extra slice of bacon is probably less than 2 eggs but it is what it is. I ended up going with the meat lovers bowl with a waffle on the side. My potatoes were very dry and honestly tasted under room temp. The meat was warm but not hot. The gravy and biscuit were also cold. I understand potatoes are made beforehand because they may take longer too cook but it wouldn't hurt to heat the food up. The waffle was great! Although the waffle had some powdered sugar it wasn't too sweet even with the syrup on top! Our server never asked us if we needed anything or any refills after she brought us our food and didn't come back until she asked if she could take our plates. Unfortunately, we won't be back. The food looked great in social media, I was excited!

Cute restaurant that we'll need to visit another 8...10...12 more times to taste everything we couldn't! Breakfast was DELICIOUS!!Our waitress was EXTREMELY patient with us asking questions during our first visit. Plenty of seating inside, and they have outside seating - perfect on a sunny day. HIGHLY recommend the waffle biscuits and regular biscuits! SO DELISH! Served warm, with butter, syrup and jams. We didn't get the gravy and biscuits...but saw others who did...DEFINITELY s repeat!

I lucked out by landing on this place for breakfast. Nestled, in Tomball - Pine Street is a hidden gem with good food and some neat looking decor. From a food perspective, there is a bit of a wilderness flair sprinkled through the menu. I elected to order the Tomball Stacker and I got my son a waffle and cheesy eggs. The stacker was the perfect build of tastiness. It had a biscuit, maple sausage, hash brown casserole, and over medium egg smothered in a scrumptious sausage gravy. It all played nice together.My son's waffle had the perfect balance of crisp and softness. He was able to dress his waffles with syrup, Nutella, and fruit. He eggs were full of gooey cheese which made him very happy - and that made me happy.I love this place and will be back for sure!
