Pike Place Bar & Grill

I'd like to start by saying my last review like 9 months ago for this place wasn't very good but we went back and the food and service has improved! I don't know if they are under new management but we experienced better service this time around. We got to the area as thing were already closing. Thera was not much to do but watch the sunset at the other side of pikes place. After that we both needed a snack and a restroom before heading out. We came in and were immediately welcomed by a hostess and we were given the option of sitting in the dining area or in the bar area that overlooks the iconic pikes place sign. I looked up at the tv in the bar and they had the Mariners vs Cubs game on live. We had been sight seeing and sampling food all day and I think we both were craving some veggies so we ordered salads. We were pleasantly surprised with how well made our salads were made. Those salads hit the spot and I had a beer. It was a great time visiting with my daughter there and we were able to hold a conversation without a whole lot of background noise going on. Overall it was a great experience and this place came in clutch for us that night. I would highly recommend this place for a nice hang out spot

If you are up for a homemade meal outside home and true american, then this is your place very dinner style food, coffee it's alright nothing out of the ordinary, the view to the Public Market Center it is awesome you can get really nice shots from the bar, service was phenomenal Rosa was patient, knowledgeable and nice, she was nice to speak Spanish to my mom. Now, let's talk about food presentation alright, missing some items like making it more balance veggies less carbs ok with protein but as what I said it is very American dinner food in Seattle.

I was out with coworkers in the downtown area and we chose Pike Place Bar and Grill to grab food. It was after lunch, so no lunch rush which was nice and quiet. The service was good. However, like reviews have said it was quite a disappointment with the food. For the price, we expected to be good food. We ordered appetizers and decided we would go elsewhere since the food was lackluster. We specifically ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and added the crab option, only for ot to come which no crab and spinach tasted barely cooked. The chicken tenders were over cooked. The onion rings were... well it's kinda hard to mess those up. Again, good customer service, but somewhere I could recommend.

The service was okay. The burger was decent but I was served a dolly polly in my strawberry mojito and when it was pointed out the offered me something else but never brought me anything to clean up the bug or the drink that spilled when I pulled it out.

Great Happy Hour. We dropped in because they had indoor seating. The draft Ranier at $3 is a bargain and the fish/chips are perfect. Good service too. It fit just what we needed. Not alot of fish options on the menu, but there is just enough to choose from.

A tourist trap, over inflated pricing, the food needed some help, both in appearance and flavor. The clam chowder was brought to the table luke warm and the cream was broken, typically by over heating and reusing for multiple days. Asked for our party of 4 to sit by one of the windows and was told no, and sat at a table in the back of the building next to 3 large parties. Couldn't figure it out. We were told by one server that she would be right back. Then a new one popped up and said she was taking care of us. She was young with a friendly smile, she just had no experience. With a little help from us she pulled through, just expected more.As a tourist trap this restaurant has one of the great views of the market from above. So for sure on a nice day be sure to get a window seat and enjoy a nice brew and a burger.

Came here cuz I was on the salmon binge to look for a good food to eat. Came across this place because of the lack of options that were open at the time and I thought the service was okay at best people were not as friendly as other places I've been to in the past I've had to Salmon here and it was pretty good not the best thing that I've had but it did the trick to fill the hunger that I had.Grade: C

Definitely the Seattle vibe we were looking for on our trip. Great atmosphere, great service, great views, and great food. I went with the Ciopinno, which was delicious. However, the burgers coming out of the kitchen were making me second guess my decision. Next time. #DukeOfEats

We originally wanted to eat some where else down at Pike's, but they didn't allow minor's. We had my Grandson with us, so we had to improvise, and find some where to eat really fast. We settled on this place. My guy ordered the fish taco's, my Son had a burger, DIL had the salmon, and I had the halibut. The halibut was really good. It had a sauce with capers.I also ordered a Mai tai. That was pretty tasty. Service was very attentive, and the food was good. Would come back.

If the lines at better restaurants seem too long to brave, or the rain sends you scurrying for something indoors, Pike Place Bar & Grill offers a sit-down experience with no wait to get in. But I'd basically never recommend it.Our crab cakes were made of meat so fine that they could've been made of anything. Our mac and cheese was insubstantial - not cheesy, not enough breadcrumbs, and overcooked pasta. Our salads came out with the wrong dressing.The staff had the tired energy of a group that is consistently understaffed and overmatched. Our waiter didn't get to us for almost a full 15 minutes after sitting. And other reviews mention the view - which not every table has!I will speak up for the competently executed cod tacos. At least they didn't muck up the fresh fish. The lightly crisped tortillas were also a highlight.
