Fresh and cool salad, and warm food, young style with a Latin twist. To fast to stop off US-1, but worth your attention. Owner is present. Relaxed and not to loud, it's next to chicken kitchen. The menu is a bit extensive, needs to simplify but all good. Price is competitive nothing to be surprised. I noticed that they value hygiene using latex gloves. Don't forget the Cuban coffee. That's Cafesito.

Walked in to find this create your own latino inspired fusion place. Customer service was outstanding. When I said I wanted a croquetta she said she would have them make two fresh ones because the two there had been sitting awhile, I wouldn't know that! All ingredients tasted quality and fresh and so good I can't imagine anything not being tasty. It's shares a space with a similar concept restaurant that I would have like to try if we had more time . Clean and bright.

My go-to meal here is chicken with their cheesy cauliflower- it's healthy and delicious. I know after leaving here I won't feel weighed down by a heavy meal. It's fresh and delicious! Pikadiyo never disappoints.

Let me start this review by saying I have a weakness for guayaba or as non spanish speakers call it guava. I was given some intel that Pikadiyo had a Timba Pizza on their menu. Which for those that don't know, Timba is a Cuban tradition of stacking sliced guayaba paste and sliced cream cheese. It is literally heaven to me. One bite and instantly transports me to my childhood. Well obviously in hearing that Pikadiyo had a pizza variation of this I had to run and try it. It was late on a Friday night so I decided to call ahead. They were less than an hour from closing but they told me to order online. And with a couple of simple clicks I was on my way. By the time I arrived they were cleaning up but the lady behind the counter was super friendly and remembered me from the phone. We chatted for a bit and she also shared how she loved that pizza. In true yelp fashion I had to snap some pics real quick and the minute I opened the box I knew I was in for a special treat. The aroma of the guayaba was so intoxicating. I couldn't wait to dig in. The Timba Pizza lived up to all the hype. Because not only was the guayaba incredibly fresh and on point as I heard it was from a local farm in the Redlands but also the cream cheese and crust were amazing as well. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and they share a seating area with Chicken Kitchen. So if you have a hard time deciding you could essentially do both. The 5 star rating is primarily for how amazing this Timba Pizza was but also not to be omitted was how friendly the staff was. I would definitely come back to try more things.

Ordered from here through Uber for lunch. Super fresh bowl with turkey Piccadillo, half sweet potato, half brown rice, it's delicious. Also got one kimchee mojo pork croqeuta that is a must. It's spicy and very flavorful, kinda mad i only ordered one. I would definitely order from here again.

Wife and I had the Chimichurri chicken wrap with tomatoes and onions and chimi-mayo. We both loved the way it tasted and would get again. The man who prepared our order was easy going and even gave a small little rice and chicken mix for our toddlers to see if they'd eat (I didn't ask or hint at it-- thought it was thoughtful so I mentioned). Centrally located on LeJeune and US1 and easy to park at the time we went (after school, 3-4pm).

This place has five star reviews because of the wonderful owner. Very friendly and personable. AND the food is super tasty. I had the sweet potato bowl with black beans. Try the garlic cilantro sauce. My friends liked theirs too! Chicken cheese wrap and a cheesy cauliflower with chicken. In the same shared building with chicken kitchen.

TLDR: Healthy, fast, clean, good service-definitely recommend! I stopped in on a Thursday evening after a workout, there was one person ahead of me and there seemed to be a steady flow of people coming in. I ordered the abuela's completa with turkey. For the base I did half brown rice, half sweet potato. The sweet potato is just plain mashed potatoes, no added sugars or butters that I could taste, which I appreciated. There's a generous serving of the protein and the beans. The protein wasn't very greasy which made it feel and taste cleaner. There was only 1 maduro which was a little disappointing but it was cooked well and was tasty. The parking lot behind the building is small and was completely full when I got there, so I had to be patient and maneuver around the tight spaces. The people working were super nice, gave me time to review the menu and decide, and they weren't pushy. Would definitely recommend for a quick, clean meal!

I'd seen Pikadiyo's food pictures on the feed of various south living friends and I wanted to check them out. The problem was they're not in my usual route. So when I happened to be in the Gables / South Miami area for my physical, I was particularly inspired to eat healthy (and ideally not sacrifice the yums) and went to Pikadiyo.Like its neighbor / roommate, it's a "paint by the numbers" lunch spot with an emphasis on spanish style ground beef "picadillo". The flavors are on par with what you'd expect at home, and they also serve the healthier ground turkey. Instead of rice, go healthy and order mashed sweet potatoes as your carb base. Besides lettuce and tomato, they count sweet plantains & black beans among the ingredients you can add to your bowl. For dessert, besides juices, make sure to order your cafecito!Besides bowls, you can also order your meal as a wrap. It's a family owned spot, with the owner running the front of house yesterday. She said they plan to expand North, hopefully to the Wynwood area in the future. Here's looking forward to them being closer.

Food tasted horrible. This is not real cuban food. The white rice tasted as if it was cooked in the same water as the brown rice. Chicken was cold. The beans were from two days ago.
