Pichurro’s Mexican Grill

What a find! We were looking for a new experience in the Spring area of Houston and discovered this gem on Yelp.We went for the Brisket Tacos, the Queso, and the Tacos Al Carbon. One word. WOW!And the friendly , talented owners are opening a 2nd location soon in Cypress. Closer to our Memorial home location. YAY!!

The service was fantastic! The dining room is small, but cute. The restaurant and bathroom all seemed very clean and inviting:m. While small, there are lots of tables, so I imagine it would be loud on a busy night. The menu was huge - lots of choices. We ordered huevos con chorizo, pollo al carbon, mole enchiladas, and kids chicken strips. Everything was delicious! The corn sauce on the chicken was sweet and really paired nicely with the savory foods. I love the refried beans - they're a little runny with excellent flavor. The kids chicken strips and fries was a large order and could be shared between two small kids. Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to our next visit!

I stopped by for lunch after eyeing this place for months. I wished I had started eating here sooner. The salsa was served warm and has just the right amount of spice and is very fresh. I ordered the Birra Tacos, which is one of my favorites, and they were fantastic. The au jus is some of the best I've had. Their rice was also excellent. I highly recommend Pichurros. I'll be bringing the family back for dinner.

Our family comes here frequently because we always get friendly, attentive service, our kids love the food, and they have great-tasting beef fajitas. They have a small patio that we're looking forward to trying once the weather is cooler. The inside has bold colors--bright purple walls and lime green booths that adds to the ambiance! Hope to come here again and again!

I recently moved to the area and this was the first place I tried! I think it's new, if it isn't either way it is super clean. The prices are amazing compared to the prices of Mexican food in Katy (where I moved from) and the menu is huge! I forgot what the name was of my dish but it was chicken rice and queso with charro beans and it was amazing. My mom got the chiminanga and loved it and my bf got the pork carnitas and was way better than any I have tried. The service was fast and friendly. I believe the servers were even the ones cooking my food bc I saw them in the kitchen. Props to them. We also got margaritas which were super strong. I'm glad we tried this place and will definitely be back. (Sorry my pics are halfway done lol!)

Grabbed take out Fajitas de la Mexicans.Very good. Did not disappoint.I will definitely be going back for more.

Upon walking in to the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised. The decor is super cute, and the entire place was very clean. The food: Los Huesos plateEverything on the plate had perfect seasoning, including the guacamole. I also appreciated the clean plating, and every bite was scrumptious. These are definitely experience restaurant operators you can tell with every bite. This is a must try restaurant in the spring and Tomball area.

We made the move to the area a few months ago and this has quickly turned into our favorite Mexican food restaurant. They are always so kind, happy and service is great. The food is outstanding. They have good chips and salsa as well. Even more important our kids love it. This is worth the stop if you are in the area!

Waited over a year for this hidden gem to open - today was our first visit and it won't be our last. Romelio and his family know how to operate as restaurant; offer great food and even better service. From the moment we were greeted at the door to the moment we left after the great meal, we felt like family.We were tired of the same old selections for Tex-Mex in this area and we were losing hope but Pichurro's Mexican Grill is a different type of restaurant. The service is wonderful and attentive and the food....the food. The food was made with care and love and I don't say that lightly because most Tex-Mex places are mass produced and it shows versus food a mother or grandmother would slowly & carefully make for their own family.We had the chips, salsa & queso (delicious) and the Ixtapa platter and the Chicken Molé and it took my breath away since not many people can do Molé right but this is Romelio's family's recipe and it brought a tear to my eye it was so good.So....if you are in the Cypress, Willowbrook, Tomball or anywhere near 249, you must stop in and try to wonderful new restaurant. And even if you're far away, it's worth the drive to support small businesses such as this wonderful family-owned establishment that we're proud to have in the Cypress area.
