Pichurro’s Mexican Grill - Cypress

I love when a new restaurant opens up. Having some variety in the hood is great. This place has some highs, and some lows. Let's explore. The restaurant is cute. Plenty of space and they were able to accommodate 6 of us. The service was good for some things and spotty for others. They kept our chips full but asking for water more than once is not super. But if you order a drink from the bar? To you in no time. Also,.it wasn't overly busy here. Few tables but no wait. So the food. One of my friends ordered a nachos as an appetizer and a carne guisada as her meal. They took it upon themselves to combine the two and deliver soupy and almost inedible stew nachos. Two others had fajitas without complaint. Then there's me. Ordered a stuffed avocado. Under the "chefs specialities". The first avocado looked terrible. You eat with your eyes and it looked very unappetizing. It's one of my photos. But whatever I'll cut into it and give her a go. Ice cold in the middle. Not embellishing. But unmelted cheesy and cold meat cold. Guy said he would replace it with a new one. Also stone cold in the middle. How do you mess up frying a damn avocado? How? I asked for a refund and just not worry about it, but he insisted on making one final one. This one was warm in the middle at least. But the breading wasn't great and I dunno just wasn't into after seeing the black first one. Chips and salsa were on point. Salsa is warm, for your info. Would I come back? Man I really need to think about it. Didn't have the best experience. Happy Thanksgiving!

If you are looking for a great Mexican restaurant, you HAVE to come by here! Amazing service and our drinks were never less than half full. All of their food that we have had is so delicious and man is their salsa good. They have a good amount of tables too so it's great for larger parties as well.

Stopped in for lunch to try this new mexican restaurant. Not many patrons at the time but the service was very good and attentive. I ordered off the lunch menu and the prices were fair. I had the beef fajita taco with a cheese enchilada, rice, beans, and guacamole. The cheese enchilada was probably the best thing on my plate. The beans were bland and the fajita didn't have a lot of flavor as well. The chips and salsa were fresh and really good. The guacamole was fairly good as well. Overall it was a decent experience

Loved trying this place! Staff is great and checked in on us multiple times, it's great inside & a few tvs for sports watching! The salsa was delicious & full of flavor + the queso was my favorite kind of consistency- not too thick& full of flavor. The margaritas were pricey for the size but they taste great! We both loved our meals & the meat inside the crispy beef taco was full of flavor which is huge for me when going to Tex mex spots!

I've had Pichurro's on my list of new places to try, so today my dad and I visited for lunch. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, the salsa was served warm (my personal preference), service was attentive and friendly, and our meals were delicious. I especially enjoyed the seasoning on the ground beef in the crispy taco. We loved the refried beans and fluffy rice. Excellent enchiladas. Great guacamole. I can't wait to try their happy hour! I'm excited to have them in the neighborhood and will definitely visit again soon.

I recently dined at Pichurros restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. Not quite authentic Mexican food, but it's very close. Staff was attentive and friendly. The food was well prepared, filling and worth the price. I had the enchiladas and if you love cheese, this one had plenty! Every bite delivered the ooey-gooey charm perfectly accompanied with the green salsa. Every dish tasted fresh and delicious, making it a fantastic dining experience overall.

Excellent service and the food was very good as well. Their salsa was very spot on as my 1st time there I always check out the chips and salsa and was pleasantly surprised in that my expectations were low considering I haven't been. I ordered the beef enchiladas (another 'trial food for comparison purposes) and it was a 'little' sweet but very good too. The serving size was more than ample and the menu is extensive. This is their second location and there are 4 owners all of which were there today and I had the chance to at least say hello and give them my thoughts. They were all very gracious, polite and interested in what I had to say. I did a small 'trial' margarita on the rocks. It too was very good and they were not cheap with the tequila. Note - there is a 4% 'convenience fee' if you use a debit or credit card but they won't tell you that until you see you check. I didn't appreciate not knowing that up front but I paid cash and they take it off when you pay in cash. I will go back and I recommend this place!

My girlfriend and I stopped by this place after a workout so we we're STARVING. The people at this restaurant were super nice and periodically came by to make sure we were satisfied. Let's get into the food! Chips and salsa?? Amazing. The chips were not too salty or bland. And the salsa had a great consistency . Probably one of the best sauces I've had. The beef fajita at this restaurant is SUPERB. We ate the chachos as a starter and i could eat that all day. It was tender, juicy, and the tortilla wasn't hard to chew or anything. I'll definitely be coming back just to get this!

I loved the place as soon as I walked through the door. The art on their walls took me straight to my childhood, very nostalgicThe music had me dancing and singing in my seat as well.Their service is great and the waiters are all very attentive and lastly the food is delicious definitely my new favorite spot
