Uncle Qwik Chinese & Dumpling

It's all about the food to go. Funny to say, but it's authentic AMERICAN Chines Food. The Chinese food of my untraveled youth, and it's a pleasure to reconnect. And because of Yelp's rating importance, I am giving them 5 stars, compared to other to-go options. These guys do food to go very well.Delivered quickly, cooked exceptionally, at a reasonable price. I can't imagine eating there, because it's dreary and the food is awesome at home in comfort. But if I had to, I would enjoy the food anywhere. But make dining-in your last option....if you just have to get out of the house, you are surrounded by great parks all over McCormick Ranch!This spot has been a family go-to for years. Sure, if I want regional Chinese cooking, I hit Mesa & Chandler. Shaanxi Garden, Heng's, Chou's, Szechwan Noodle, Old Town Taste, all deliver amazing regional food, but my parents aren't as thrilled with Pig's Ear in Chili oil, Szechwan Peppers that pop in my mouth, or beautifully prepared Tripe as I am.So when we want that Americanized Chinese experience that we grew up with, this is the spot to get it to go. I'm sorry Ling & Louie's, George & Son's, Flo's, Totties etc...when I want food to go, I like this more. If it's fried, it's crisp not soggy. I love the Spicy Orange Tofu, the Special Spicy Eggplant, the fried rice, noodles, almost any beef dish, the vegetables, and the new dumpling and Bao choices. And the old standby's of my childhood....sweet and sour, lemon or orange Chicken, pork and tofu are all yummy. It never disappoints.

Food is always fresh made and still hot after delivery! Employees, (owners?), are always super nice and helpful!We substituted the Steamed White Rice in our Sweet & Sour Chicken meal, for vegetable fried rice, with an upcharge,..and ordered a small side of the Steamed White Rice. Chicken is always freshly fried, packaged separately from the sauce, and it's very good!Everything is always packaged very good, and always comes with everything we need, such as forks, napkins, Soy Sauce and yummy Fortune Cookies!

Not very good. The soup had no flavor and the egg roll tasted like a supermarket frozen egg roll. Disappointing

Good performance from UQ tonight ! Their delivery is crazy hot and fresh love that, also brocc and beef was good! I'm impressed I would recommend checking them out. Good job to this team !

I stopped in for takeout lunch while I was running errands. I was greeted right away. I ordered the orange beef and some cream cheese wontons.I thinks it's a little overpriced, I paid $24 without the tip.The food was made fresh from what I can tell. The beef was lightly floured and was very good. I didn't taste the orange flavor that I'm used to for orange beef but it was not too sweet and was surprisingly very good. The cream cheese wontons were fried perfectly and were of decent size.I'll definitely stop in again.

Saw pretty good reviews at this place on google, mixed reviews on yelp. Got the teriyaki chicken, a chicken egg roll & wonton chips. The best part of the meal was the wonton chips, everything else unfortunately got tossed. No rice was included in my meal, I had to make some to go along with my chicken at home. The chicken was very chewy and rubbery tasting even though I got the white meat. 2/10 will not be back.

Didn't feel like cooking nor getting dressed to go out so we did one of our fav meals, takeout Chinese. We split orange chicken, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. We ordered online then went in to pick it up. Everything went smoothly and staff was friendly on the pickup. Food was excellent with large portions. Leftovers for lunches for sure. I loved the flavor of the orange chicken and the pork fried rice has tons of pork.

Holy cow I don't know if this place changed ownership recently with the "Uncle" addition or what but they somehow have destroyed a place we used to get carry out from weekly. Forgot the rice, forgot the sauce on the side, the dumplings were awful, the BBQ pork was dry and cold. I never write reviews but this place deserves a warning for other people now that it's somehow changed from the place we used to go to. Probably never going back.

Good food and perfect location for the hole in the wall Chinese food in our neighborhood. We walked to grab the food after ordering.Ordering was easy online and you can customize what you want or make upgrades, just be aware that it's pricey!Definitely way more expensive than Panda Express but pretty good. Portions are decent, but served in plastic containers. Everything was eaten.The price was a shock at like $70 for 3 entrees and cheese rangoons (only 1 entree came with a side of rice?!) so definitely not inexpensive. Probably would consider ordering lunch there next time and eating the leftovers for dinner.

Foods always consistent and qwik. Always get the beef and broccoli, love it. Staff is always nice and friendly as well!
